Looking forward to seeing the new spreader in operation. I’m a city slicker and don’t know why I am but here we are. This was my warm up. You make farming hilarious! And you’ve only gotten better at it. And just look at my thingy now? Cool beans.
I love that you’re letting us see more fo your personality in some of your more recent videos. Your little comments and facial expressions are pretty cute lol
The aroma of fermented yellow calf poo just before lunch,,, oh, yumminess 🤢😖🤢😖🤢 Good job gents,,, things are looking much better now. 🤗 Thanks for the video,,, much appreciated. 👍❄️🌨️🌨️❄️👍
I think I heard your Dad moooving too! Got to be pretty hungry when looks like and tastes like s__t, changes to, looks like a fudge brownies. My wife thinks I'm crazy when I break out laughing watching these videos. As entertaining as spreading poo can be.
Thanks for the new video Cole. Hope everything's going well for you. It's like you're having a little bit of fun. As for going through the gate, all you need is an inch. Your vids are always entertaining man. Thanks again
I love the way your dad says manurr the way Mike Less does. I grew up saying manewer (rhymes with sewer, so you know what it is). With a new pronunciation, we could sell this stuff for money!
Hey Albert! I just received your Card today. Thank you so much for the kind words and continued support! I appreciate it more than you know! Keep commenting, watching, and learning! I hope I can continue to make content that you enjoy and can be entertained by!
Just found you 15 mins ago, LOVE the content, spent my formative years spreading chicken poop, same thing only smaller lumps, it is all ugly no matter how you do it. looking forward to more vids. gonna click the sub button too.
Good video of that, but that shows you that's why it's better to compost your animals waste the blacker it gets the better it is for the plants, but I think if you would of moved the pile around the inside pile part goes outside of the pile, that would help to break down and sweetin that strong goldich color type turn it to rich black gold. But that's my opinion. So again good video.
The rules here in Sweden may be strict, and as a farmer you don’t have economical muscles to fight them! But i have also seen with my own eyes what all overfertilization does to the ocean and lakes, with dying fish and so on. So i am bit in between if you understand what i mean..
quick question, at the beginning we see alot of bales which i assume is hay bales? does the cattle eat that ? if so how much of it do they eat and how much has to be thrown away? we would have no chance to feed unwrapped bales thats been stored outside to our cattle
we grind the bale and so they cant be picky. They eat all of it. Even when we put a whole bale in the feeder they eat the whole thing. The bales don't sit around for too long.
Good show again. You need to eat better or not talk about the lack of food. I'll never look at brownies again without thinking of that massive pile of 'fertilizer' (it is now fertilizer, isn't it?). Are you actually fertilizing a field now in the freezing winter, or trying to 'potty train' your calves to go where you place that stuff? :) I assume your field of corn is strictly for animal feed or ethanol!
Just curious why don't you use the grapple while loading? You can get 2 or 3 buckets in 1 with the grapple and the 6r is plenty big enough to handle it
The manure is so wet this year that the loader wont always lift a full load. Have had to pop the clutch while lifting a few times to get the loader to raise.
@@rrmtnfarmer3273 Just like everything else i have likes and dislikes with them. I do like the 6155 not necessarily the def fluid part but since it is not used in the field much it isnt much of an issue. I ran a 6195r and did not like the extra step getting up in the tractor and along with sitting that high up with wheels not wide it was very rough riding.
@@briansonne814 I've been looking for a 6430 or 72 7330 but all the ones you find are either high hours or over priced to where you might as well get a new one with warranty
Hmm its a bit strange. In Sweden we are totally forbidden to spread manure between the last of october to the 1:st of march and definatly on snowy ground.. And this is because the goverment wants to prevent the leakage of co2 to the water and the nature.. What are your thoughts about that? Nice video though!!👍🏻
I think there are concerns with the Phosphorus and Nitrogen running off into streams/lakes, but where we are spreading is not near any bodies of water. I hope we here in the US don't ever get as regulated as the European countries. Do you think the regulations are too strict or are you okay with them?
Well we all keep our cows in the best condition we can and I will let you in on a secret beef cattle are built for weather we bed them down if they need it and I havent lost any cattle due to weather conditions
@@SonneFarms as a matter of fact if I haul manure out of a corral any time of the year I can't store it on the bare ground.I store it on a concrete pad with concrete retaining wall. The walls are sealed with a rubber between the walls and slab. So it doesn't leak after it rains.
the music used to accompany your footage was so very nice!
Excellent camera work again Cole. Thanks for sharing!
Honestly nothing more satisfying then watching some loader work.

Hello Cole another great video showing us how farming is for sure the love of it all ,

You are always working...when do you go to school?? Remember. Pops are always right!!!
I visit home every other weekend
When you try and get the cow to come to you with the corn stock😂 love it
Nice footage of the bucket loading the spreader. All I can say is it's a good thing that we can't smell thru the video.

C'mon Mr Sonne..them loader pins are squeeeeeekin.
Loader needs a little grease 😃. Good video I used to get stuck running both tractors when I cleaned up manure piles.
Yea having a guy in each tractor doesn't save too much time but its nice not having to walk back and forth

Good video
Great video
and yea i agree, let the boss man do the tough stuff in the case it breaks :P
Nice video
Did we rinsed down the poop spreader with pressure water jet..? So that easier to load next round of poop...they can rust the truck very bad...?
Is that a Golden Sun stocking hat? Better go take that off and hang it on the wall. Vintage. I haven't seen one of those for many, many years.

Mayby you should purchase a bigger spreader, the 7530 has a lot of horsepower. It also has duos on it
Yes haha always let the boss man do the risky stuff! Does john deere not make a spreader?
I don't believe they do, if they did I still think we would stick with the 195 spreader
you know why john deere doesn't make a manure spreader? their salesman wont stand behind it!!
Hopefully you had some heating in that tractor cabin :)
Sure did!
Oh! I meant to ask? Does the spreader dig in? Or “plow?”. You said a foot and a half deep.
Little of both!

How did we collect poop.? Same thing using scoop to scrap above ground and dump at one area till pile up to throw back to farm land..?
I would have taken out the posts next to the gate and put another gate in later.

Does it thaw a bit faster where you spread due to the darker colour?
I assume the manure itself will, but then that manure acts as a coat and it takes longer for the heat to get down into the soil
