Happy hump day RVA! 😊 cracking looking trail, don't count the steps, that's sadistic 😆 what a great met up, and a beautiful area! Look like something from Jurassic Park! 🦕 Looked really slippery in places, Senior Hiker is an absolute inspiration, what trooper! 👣 ❤️ How amazing was the arch! Wow 😮 Thanks for sharing this fab adventure, yes we'll done Nicole 😀 have a great week, Ceri and Kat ☕️ ❤️ 🗺 👍
He is not only a kick butt hiker but he is just also down to earth and genuine. I have a special place in my heart for him forever! There are over 150 sandstone arches in Red River Gorge. Can’t wait to go back next year and check out more. Waterfalls too! Thanks guys! 💕
55 steps just on that one section and then another set below that. I didn't hear have many from Tom the second one had. Incredible arches though out that park, can't wait to go back. Thank you Natureman. ~RVA~
I’m just slow. Weeks behind on videos. I’m out again on another trip and I am going to hike with someone you know that you haven’t seen in a while. Stay tuned for that video.
Loving the colours in the trees and I can see why it was so packed there, great place to hike, especially with fellow UA-camrs. That 'little' rocky section looked a bit of a challenge, real steep and real slippery too. Got to say I did not realise Senior Hiker was 81 years old, man I hope I am as fit as him if I make that age - I sure feel inspired and energised too! The Arch itself looked pretty cool and a perfect place for a photo and the night time festivities looked pretty dam cool too lol! Cheers Alan
Yes, the Fall color is beautiful while it lasts, even if its only for a few weeks. SH77 is 1 amazing human being. He is one of my fav people on this planet. That area where we were has over 150+ sandstone arches, so its an incredible area to explore. Thanks Alan for giving this one a watch. ~RVA~
Super cool arch! These sandstone arches always so luring! Looks like a great destination with a ton of familiar faces! Keep making memories & adventure on! ~Karen & Shannon WOY
Ah yes, lots of people you might recognize. Everyone was totally rad out there. Never knew KY had so many sandstone arches. They can get addicting to want to go see like waterfalls, and fire towers! ~RVA~
Catching up. 😁 Man I miss you all. What a great time. I loved our time at the arch and then the campfire time. Nothing is better ❣️RVA hiker girl song rocks!
Your song is up next. I can't wait to hear that one. I'm not going to make the Thanksgiving trip. I have been traveling so much lately, I need to stay in town and have some extended family time. I will miss my tram though, that is for certain.
Thanks for the shout out and happy to be an inspiration to anyone. I don't feel 81 but have shorten my hikes lately. I could hear Kevin singing your RVA Hiker Girl song all the way to my tent. I was recovering from that 8 Mike hike. Lol
It looked a bit challenging! But so much fun to see your version of the meet-up. 😁 And I agree, John is an inspiration to us all! I'm so happy that I got to meet him in February. That counts for everybody! You, Nicole, singing Kevin, Jason, Andy... And all the once that aren't there, but that I got to meet! I do hope to come back some day and really go for a hike with you! 😁 Have a great day! Kaat

Haha so the 298' elevation gain is all at the end in the steps it seems! We stayed in camp this whole time but this would have been super fun!! I wasn't sure if Mister would've made it here, back, then back to the truck all in the same day! He would have loved the destination though! Great to meet up with ya at camp!!
Hey there guys! Yes all the elevation was at those steps and climbing up to the arch. It was fantastic meeting you both. Looking forward for next year and checking out more places. ~RVA~
