- Next up for our "I am a Weld County deputy" project is Chris Dalzell, a Chicagoland native who's family is steeped in the law enforcement tradition.
Dalzell's grandfather was an MP in the U.S. Army during World War II. His father was a 29-year veteran police officer, rising to chief of Dalzell's hometown police department in south suburban Chicago.
Dalzell moved to Colorado to take a job with the Department of Corrections. He joined the Weld County Sheriff's Office in August 2018, beginning his new career with us in the Weld County Jail. He is currently assigned to patrol.

That has no obligation or duty to protect citizens, especially children and teachers as "cops" waited in the parking lot for it to end at #Uvalde Remember kids it's more important that "cops" go home to their family instead of you. What a sad excuse even for the police of today and definitely don't deserve the respect they demand while violating the rights of citizens.
Go sign up and make difference.
We have seen how much good was done in Watts case. Lol! ROURKE is a narcissistic joke! I have a Cop in our family and thank goodness he catches things others don't. Always told him treat people the way you want to be treated.
