I use both hands while knitting fair isle, but had to switch to both yarns in the left hand for double knitting because the tensions were so different for each yarn. Would the unconventional stitch mounting help with that? This is one of the reasons that double knitting is so difficult for me, since I am a right handed thrower. Thank you for this tutorial. Using the Alternative Rotation Purling should significantly help to reduce the disparity between the two layers. It's also easier for a primarily right-hand yarn operator to execute. It's worth doggedly practicing with two hands as it solves a number of other issues (twists and consistency in the yarn crossings). Keep on trying - you'll suddenly crack it.
