I personally would work normal business hours. That means the hours you agreed upon when hired. After that everything else will be overtime... And I may not personally be able to do overtime in some cases.. Because of my family.
being born disabled isn't something you asked for in your life but the support we get in our life from family and friends helps to not give up whatever gets us knocked down we always get back up this quote helps everyone disabled or not
The dad is a g for pushing his son for 17 hours' and while the son isn't doing anything physically, he's definitely helping emotionally by giving him encouragement' and is probably doing everything in his ability to achieve his dream.
I just want to say "you are never to young to follow your dreams" and that is exactly what Richie and his dad did to quilfy for the ironman. If you see this GOD is with you and he always will be there.
Born disabled doesn’t mean different it means that ur very special and I think everyone deserves respect don’t judge someone until u know what their story is and what their going through💗
I liked how the son reminded the father about what we do when we get knocked down. It is so amazing even a person with a physical disability can be positive and uplifting and they truly encourage us more than we can encourage ourselves
Hey Dhar, I will never let you down, I will always love and respect people who were born special and I still love your videos and your advice and you're an amazing person as well 🙂😀😃😄😁🤩
"If you get knocked down, you get back up." Very true and inspiring! Everyone has their own ups and downs in their lives, but it's so important to remember that just because they've failed on something doesn't mean they should just give up. All they have to do is to work harder and always believe in themselves! Dreams can come true through hard work, determination, perseverance, and most importantly, teamwork. Way to go and good luck in Hawaii, Team Miller! Especially you, Richie.
Not only that, but, sometimes, when life doesn't go the way you hope it would, sometimes, that could be a GOOD thing, b/c it could bring about something EVEN BETTER!!!
"If you get knocked down, you get back up.". Amazing message! I love watching these wholesome videos all the time when you post a video! Keep up the good work! Big facts! 💯💯👍👍
That video I watched is 100% inspiring. Just because things don't always work out the way you want them to be doesn't mean you give up. The moral of the video is this: "If you get knocked down, you get back up."
Disabilities aren’t disabilities. They should be classified as different abilities. People that have disabilities are still human and they should have just as much respect as we get in this world. Great video Dhar!
Not to be rude, but some disabilities aren’t different abilities. Many common disabilities don’t provide new possibilities, they block some. Again, not to put anyone down, but I know from personal experience.
I am a special needs student. I have ADHD and I’m in a wheelchair so I know how it feels to be knocked down like this family did. I also am VERY into the SVVSD Unififed sports program. I do only 2 of the many (bowling and basketball) but it makes me feel normal and that’s all that matters
This is the reason to keep going even if you have a disability try your very hardest to keep going and push through! This is what it is like to be confident! ❤❤
This one really hit home I am a dad of a wonderful family and a special needs son I love the content and pray that this touches someones heart as it has mine

I had a good friend who was born with Multiple sclerosis, he was born with it he was in a wheelchair with straps that went across his chest and on his legs, he lived with his family including his sister Sarah, when I heard about him passing away, I was devastated, I will always remember him in my heart and soul.
I’m so confused cus the son isn’t even doing anything.. they’re saying shit like “I’ll train even harder!!” …training for sitting in ur wheelchair for 17 hours 😭
Not because you have a disability, doesn't mean they don't matter. This father have such love, compassion and a heart of gold for his son. Thank you Dhar for your beautiful inspirational video. God bless you and keep up the good work.
What a strict controlling boss and the dad is too hard on himself. He’s a wonderful dad to Richie and Richie is lucky to have him and I love how the wife encourages the dad and she’s a kind supportive wife
Honestly, the father should have put more time into his work. My parents couldn't do a lot of things with me because of their work. Occasionally, I would've gotten upset, but years later, I would look back on it and realize that they were only doing it for the family, including me.
Well, if I were the Dad and found out by my new offer, I would go back to my former boss, and make closing amends, incase when your new boss at the Special Olympics see’s your former employer’s phone number on your application or resume, that he not say you constantly turn in assignments late.
I dunno, the dad was clearly putting a lot of time into work. He stayed late, and he worked on his laptop all through the night. HOWEVER, I definitely feel like the rest of the family was being kind of selfish by asking him to stay for breakfast when they knew he had something urgent at work.
@@emmag9890 Well, the way the boss was treating the dad would be someone not to trust, as there a high chance he can ruin your reputation. I myself had a former manager like that, and to this day, I have to watch what I put under references and previous employers
I had a supervisor similar to this at Walmart back in 2014-2015...the last incident we had, I made a vow I was going to put in my two weeks after the week was out....the day after New Years, she started her shit with me and the rest of the guys thought it was so funny when she would disrespect me.. When she did that, I quit right there and then on the spot..left them hanging with only 2 people to unload a 4000 piece truck to unload... guess who had the last laugh then? None of them were smiling and laughing when I walked out on them in the middle of all that!!
I could relate to this guy. Once, I told my boss I couldn't work a certain day because I was going out of town to see relatives, but, he scheduled me anyway.
