As a retired steel fabricator, having fitted up numerous lock gates, flood control roller and swing gates, aluminum recyling furnaces and much more over a 40 year career, this is top quality work
I like that your company is able to design and build a product completely. Too many companies subcontract to third world to save a few bucks.
Great video.
American small business at work.
Proud to have small businesses like this in our country.
You guys ever consider building a steel box with a end lid that you can put on top of a hot stove to bake biscuits or whatever in? Or even build it into the rear of a stove. Hot biscuits or cornbread out in the woods would be welcomed. You've got all the heat so take advantage of it.
I’ve been using my 2001 Four Dog stove all of these years for my tent, probably 12, 5day uses per year equaling hundreds of hours. Not a single problem with it at all. Great product, made by great Americans! 👍🏻
This is a great look into what your folks are doing. I'm more inclined to buy something when I know what's gone into building it. Keep up the good work.
Don, thanks for pulling back the curtain so we can see where all the magic happens! I have a couple of your stoves and the quality is 1st rate. Wishing you continued success and blessings
Hi Don......just wanted to update you.....I have one of your titanium stoves and It's on its 16th winter I believe.....should make me one of your earliest titanium stove users....and I also still have your old sauna....my Colorado Canvas tee pee tent......still works.....need to get some burn holes repaired.....glad to see you doing well. Sincerely, marcus bustad
I wish I viewed this before I ordered my G-Stove....Nice video, thumbs up and bless you all there....
how do you like the g-stove now that you had it for 2 years,,,good or bad
@@crownroy4946 Only used a few times, but it has been great. No problems at all.
You got a really great bunch over there Don.
My congratulations to you all for you success....long may it continue sir.
Thanks for giving us the opportunity to meet everyone and see the shop.
All the best
Thom
I hope Don & everyone at 4Dog are doing well. It's been a rough few years. Awesome products!
Nice to see the folks that are making my new stove. Looking forward to extending my camping season with my son and dog!

Great video Don. I have had a two dog stove for about 7 years and I love it. It was great to see your shop and process for your business.
Very nice of you to share that video. Keep up the good work!
I own a Fourdog Titanium stove. It is one of my most prized possessions. The stove is very well manufactured, it will probably last a thousand years since it is made from titanium.
I love my Two Dog Stove along with my modified Shakelton tent I also purchased from Four Dog. Keep up the good work. Hope to see you at the symposium.
A cool behind the scenes look at you company. Thanks for sharing!!!
You guy are just up the road from me. Nice to see behind the scenes.
I love your business philosophy and your stove looks great! The design is simple, which is a major selling point. Nothing is frivolous and every element serves an important purpose; that's not an easy thing to achieve. I have yet to encounter a single negative review and I am eagerly awaiting the release of more, in the 4 dog model! I've been doing a lot of research and if this stove, is half as good, as the claims, at the price you are selling it for, I will be more than pleased.
I really like your stoves... made in America! I like the square design, better than round as the round bottom type are harder to clean. To improve your stove I have some advice... instead of using 6 pieces of steel welded to make your box... use a bender to bend the main body into a U... with a flat bottom, then weld the top cooking surface plate on, then the ends... easy, fast and cheaper to do. Once you get it set up you can pump them out with so much less labor and they look better! I would include a a grate inside for the wood to set on. This bending process goes for your water jacket too... you'll see how much better they look with bent corners... no leaks too!
Also, some sort of under box that the ashes fall into with a door to remove the ashes. The legs should have adjusters on them to accommodate the uneven ground. Do these suggestions and I would gladly pay $400.00 for a tent stove...
thats a rough batch of sheet metal workers you got there.. very cool to see!
I live over by Isanti and found you site a couple of years ago
Good Stuff. It's a way of living and I understand it. I work and live in a very similar atmosphere.
Great video, really tells your story, well done
brilliant! keep up the great work
Keep up the good work...
That was cool!!
Отличные печки делаете ! Жаль, что такие печки не производят в России. В России титана много, но печки такого качества не делают. Желаю успехов!
If you offer some more steel 4 dogs for a 10 x 12 wall tent I will buy one!
Was going to order 1 until I saw the prices. So I went with a winnerwell Woodlander double view.
Made in China, made in the USA for 36 years.
good job best wishes
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I am heartbroken that the Mors Kochanski pots are no longer being made. Are the saws ?
Now if you'd answer your phone or emails you would probably sell more!
Hello. Happy New Year. Question: Do you have a dealer in Western Canada (Alberta) or would I just order my stove directly from you good folks? Cheers
Don, I think you look exactly like my brother Wayne. From every angle I've seen so far, you are apparently his identical twin.
Will your Snow Peak 900 Titanium lid fit on a standard Sierra cup?
Thanks
When will you have some more stoves available!

What is the best sized saw length for weight and efficiency?
+Donny Zarra For winter use I would use the 30" Bob saw, if backpacking I would go on the 24" Bob saw.
