Just found out Beegie passed away in January. I watched all her Happy Hours on You Tube during Covid. I am classically trained, but she inspired me so much that I began playing by ear again. Kentucky had another gem to be proud of besides bourbon and horses.
Let me just say...God rest Beegie's soul, heard we lost her earlier this year. I have enjoyed (trying!?) to play music almost my entire life and have never heard a style of music "The Jazz Trio" - According to Beegie" that has inspired me sooo much as this precious jewel has. I am coming out from "under my rock"! Love her music!!! -Vron

I came across her about 20 yrs ago & was immediately captivated by Beegie's embracing the Haunting melody of countless Jazz standards with subtle improvisation & then returning to the beautiful melody in a 'Cafe Carlyle' Cocktail jazz style, as I often tasted in many LA Jazz piano bars & Jazz clubs when they were flourishing throughout much of Southern Ca 'Once upon a time
Beegie, I can't say how much I appreciate your music. The colors, hues, and paths you take me through gives me a joy! And your bandmates are just perfect for the travel! If I was a loner and able to travel, I be happy to just polish your piano and bench. ;)
