I was in Tokyo when I first heard Beegie and discovered that she is very popular there. Sometimes one has to travel far to discover that the best things are in our own backyard! Beegie and her trio are the best!

I've been hearing this number ever since my boarding school days at NainTal, India, in the 50s/60s but who sang it originally? Miss the trombones.
Doris Day had a big hit with this tune in the 40's.
