- Always one of the most spectacular HillClimb events of the year, Buzetski Dani in Croatia featured once again a tremendous entrylist, filled with an incredible amount of proper Monsters, making for a incredible selection of machines for the final Top 10 list.
With 3 Lancer Evolution models, none producing less than 600Hp, GT3 units from Porsche and Ferrari, local hero Dejan Dimitrijevic in his 740Hp Léon R32 Turbo among others, at the very Top we saw 2 of absolute fastest Monsters in Europe: Dan Michl´s famous Lotus Elise V8 and Manuel Dondi in his frantic FIAT X1/9 Alfa Romeo...

@@HillClimbMonsters I tried to buy one (X1/9) when I was 16yrs old.... owner was a college student and just couldn't bear to part with it....... I ended up wit a 128 wagon! That was pretty awesome too!

@@HillClimbMonsters exactly, first time i saw him it was on Slalom of Turrivalignani, i think it was 2008, and it was so obvious how much talent he got.
One of the most talented drivers for sure!
You got to also think his car weighs as much as a prototype, he has way better power to weight ratio than any other E1 car in this video.. Weight is everything

I just love how the fastest car there is also the lowest power one by over a hundred horsepower. Really goes to show how much of a difference low weight makes.
Yes it instantly made me think of why nobody has simply bought a Praga R1T in this competiton. Should be cheaper than some of these builds and come with a warranty plus low running costs.

Crazy how you can see the tenths that the fiat cuts in each corner, especially in the last 5 corners! You can see how late he brakes and just how much speed he carries through and out of corners compared to all the other cars. Very few cars can highlight that kind of performance that you can see with your own two eyes! What a car and what a build, I’m sure that thing must be absolutely terrifying yet a total blast to drive.
+alex symmes A car that doesn't try to kill you is a lot easier to drive,unlike Pereković's Evo or Dimitrijević's Leon.
Seat Leon V6 T has the sickest sound ever, high pitch plus turbo whistles & bangs, all in one!
Maybe it deserves a solo feature...

The Bimmer and the Seat just won it for me. But that Seat with its bangs and crackles sounded astonishing.

Buzet is a race on which i always go with great pleasure since i know there is going to be serious machinery and with 2019. edition that was the case once again.Some cars that i expected with few surprising entries,the most surprising ones for me were that of Manuel Dondi,Luca Gaetani and Norbert Nagy,ex-WTCC driver.Glad a driver from such elite series came to race.Dondi's and Michl's performances were impressive,but i was glad to see both Pereković and Dimitrijević posting faster times compared to their 2018. performances.Mostly i cheered for them(i'm from Croatia) and Dondi,since he's one of my favorite drivers,along with Michl,for which i was glad to see back in action after crash on Rechberg in 2018.Glad you posted Buzet Top 10 as well since it's one of the very best hillclimb tracks in Europe.
In salita ormai, si vedono mostri incredibili che, per carità, fanno la gioia del pubblico. Ma per il cronometro basta una vecchia auto costruita quando il peso e il telaio avevano ancora importanza perchè non esisteva l'elettronica a correggere i vizi. Un motore prestazionale ed ecco che Ferrari, Lamborghini, Jaguar, ecc tornano ad essere puri esercizi di stile. Ma x battere il cronometro, la ricetta è sempre quella e noi italiani, poveri, ma ricchi (ancora) di genio, sappiamo come fare. 👍😊🇮🇹
something about the Lotus that's just right, the silhouette, reminiscing of Elise GT1 in a way, mad engine and aero, and it sounds (and covers ground) as insane as it looks 👍 couldn't make it to Buzet, thanks for the footage, on point as always 💪

That R32 Leon made EVERY other car sound civilised. The X1/9 was pretty exciting too.
Whoever tuned the anti-lag or whatever the hell that was on the Seat, needs a swift kick in the nuts.

That Leon R32T had some nice pops and bangs, awesome car.
Elise V8 is a monster love the look of the aero and how planted it stays around corners.
But that X1/9! My favourite car to see on the hillclimbs what an absolute killer!

Seems like there's at least one Evo in every top-10. I'm an original owner of a IX that's about 3 feet from me ATM. Gotta say in all honesty, makes me feel proud to see the platform racing and winning.
There are three in this video alone. On out Top 10 Videos we have featured by now 13 different Lancer Evo Monster. It´s safe to say it one of the most successful platforms for sure.

Many people want a match up between the Fiat and the lotus. There is one at "Fiat X1/9 vs Lotus". Not really a race but the X1/9 gains on the Lotus and eventually catches him.
X1/9 with K20 at the settles of Willow is X11/9 vs Lotus.

There are 2.0l 4 cylinders producing over 350hp in hillclimb prototypes
@@ondrej1112 really? But what engines exactly? If modified what base engine has been used?
@@adonbanchamek2254 They are Honda engines, from Civics Type R, heavily modified. We're talking roughly 60k euros for such engine.
@@ondrej1112 you mean the k20? Yeah I heard it's very powerful for it's desplacement. Do you you know what kind of modifications can be done to power up an engine while staying NA? I'm trying to learn. If I'm not mistaken, there are only two ways to boost up an NA engine and that's raising rpms or raising bore, am I right?
@@adonbanchamek2254 The engines use custom parts, (head, pistons, crankshaft, even the block is slightly modified...) as you said the bore and RPM's are increased and also the compression. The ECU is obviously completely different and it uses racing exhaust system and racing fuel.

Well, this is irony. :) Beautiful but shitty old Fiat with a 2 liter engine, it looks like someone is joking. But then again if you look closer there is crazy Italians behind this, and Alfa Romeo racing heritage so everything is clear. :)
