Karl’s Golf is number one for me, number 2, how about the little front drive i30 coming in 3rd place! Great bit of driving there! And to finish off my podium, that AMG GT4
Incredible how Stefan with the Hyundai TCR managed to beat all those evos and porsches sick skill and 9:17 that wing almost took that marshal's arm off damn
Knew Karl was going to be the quickest from the thumbnail and looking at the other times was thinking maybe 2:10/2:11, 3 or 4 seconds quicker but nope, almost 10 seconds quicker than second place over a 2 minute course, the guy is an animal
There was a number of factors (problems with a number of Top cars) that contributed for all this difference, but yeah...Schagerl ttakes it to the next Level usually ;)
I love these videos because not only does it show the cars but also the specs of the car too with engines, horsepower, etc. That little Golf was absolutely ripping it!
Wondering has there been a match putting that golf and PPIHC monsters like Peugeot 208 T16 or VW idr h2h? Or is it possible to compare their lap times on a same track? Would be exciting to see the clash.
It is a golf mk2 carbon body (or what's left of it) with golf mk5 suspension/drivetrain heavily modified. Petrolicious made an awesome article a few years back

To be fair, some of the other contestants were clearly unfamiliar with the track. #2 completely missed that last turn, for istance.

I can't believe how well the 4 cylinders do in this. Can anyone explain how lancer's are shredding the Porsche's and v8's?

Lightness has a a bit to do with it but nowadays you can take so much power from some of these 4 pots...
Car setun and driver skill...HP number is not much important.
Hillclimb shows that 4 cylinder is superior to 6
