You can look up the dimensions in this link. www.lsjunction.com/flag.htm it does state in there that the diameter of the star at it's point should be equal to 3/4 the width of the blue stripe. So in the case for this flag where the blue stripe is 18.5" the star diameter should be 13.87"
armando martinez I used Transtint wood dyes for the red and blue. For the placement of the star it is center vertically and horizontally within the blue section of the flag. If you look up the flag code for the state of Texas it will provide you with all the necessary measurements and ratios for the state flag. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching.
Not a woodworker, but this is one cool project! God Bless Texas!
Shawn P thanks!
If you don’t mind what are the dimensions of the star on the flag

great, thanks
Looks like your burn was after staining ??
Mike Lovelace yes. The dye was not affected by it. If I had burned it first the dye would not soak in as evenly.
@@ericosterhout7564 Thanks for the reply
Nice job
Where did you buy the dye?
You asked those same questions already. haha. look below in the comments where I had already answered them.
What kind of router bit did you use?
Kevin Zapata 1/8” & 1/4” up-cut spiral bits
Thank you 🙏
I love it, looks awesome
How do you know where to p,ace the star?
I think he measured half the distance to the middle(length ways and width ways)of the blue area
