I can't wait to see the comparison between the 350 builds, I had a 68 350 in my 67 firebird was a 245 horse 2 brrl motor that had an 068 cam in it and a performer intake with a street demon carb hei ignition and long tubs she ran really well for what it was!
Thanks for the video have a better day like yourself out yeah I used to do locksmith work I know that feeling could be worse back in the day at the drag strip in my 69 Camaro the starter wire was too close to the header and decided to melt at 130 miles an hour at the traps and starter engaged yep no more starter or flywheel completely gone shredded no teeth left that was crazy I guess starters ain't made to spin at 8 thousand RPM I'll keep watching thanks for the inspiration
I have considered filling the blocks water jacket with evap-o-rust to clean last remaining surface rust. It would be an interest generating experiment! 😉Love the engine build content.
I Really enjoy your videos, although i understand your day to day job is very hecktik. I myself use to run an Automotive shop here in east texas and ran a frame and alignment shop in dallas texas. Keep up the good work.
Been there, done that! WAY back when I was a single guy I ran to the bank, got out of the car with the engine running because it was Winter and just out of habit I locked the door. No spare key! Lucky for me the current girl friend had the spare key. She had to leave work to come rescue me. The last time I pulled that trick was at a gas station with 6 inches of wet snow on the ground. That time I did have a spare in a magnetic box under the car. I had to lie in wet snow, partially crawl under the car to retrieve the spare key. I was dressed nicely at the time for office work. My newer RAM truck will not let you lock it with the key fob outside it. I have proven that too. Whatta maroon!
Bob is right as I'm in Cape Coral Florida, right next to Ft Myers and it's gotten into the upper 40's at night but 60's during the day during the snow in Northern Florida
in the old days of cars having two key (1 for ignition and 1 for door), I carried them on two separate rings so this couldn't happen. But the auto manufacturers in their infinite wisdom went to one key for all...
One of the fastest cars I ever drove was a 70 Formula firebird with a 350 HO, by the way I have a collection of Po tiac parts I need to get out of my storage here in Conroe TX, several 4bbl intakes 2 350 Pontiacs and a complete 326 Pontiac le man's gto parts trim about a u haul truck full 68 le man's grill
Austin, I was at bowling Green on power tour last year with my Chevelle and you are right traffic is terrible getting in and out of those places lol. I wanted to go down and be in sick ward for a few days next week but ended up having carpel tunnel surgery last week and have to be back for follow up Tuesday so I decided to spend that vacation money on a gear vendors for my car because power tour also taught me I will go broke fast feeding gas in my 582bbc in said Chevelle lol.
passat estates are fantastic cars especially the r line and r line edition. if you can get them the skoda octavia vrs is equally good but slightly smaller.
In the UK here the VW Passat is called an Estate, not a wagon, and they really are reliable and cheap, but our fuel prices are silly here so most cars are below a 3 litre, there are some V8's and Supercars, but rarely see them as every day drivers, most normal ppl just have may be 2 litre or less. I just checked fuel prices and converted to dollas, we pay more than double for a gallon of fuel, almost 7$, I checked I think you guys pay $3.22 a gallon. 😂😂😂
That's awesome have a great time! I LOVE Ireland been there several times wonderful people and incredible scenery. Gonna hit the Giants Causeway while you're there? Hopefully you have a rental car and can enjoy some amazing drives over there!
I believe that man in New York built an engine for Kevin KSR performance in Bradenton, Florida and he has a video probably a year a year and a half ago of the man’s shop on his UA-cam channel
I'm pretty sure you paid jegs for the 2 inch blocks Tommy walked in with to return I'm not sure but that what I picked up might want to check your slips 😂
That's why I always have roadside assistance on my insurance policy. Now that call that you just had would have paid for it. It's not that expensive at all
Austin the Olds guy in ny i believe is the same man who built the smallblock olds for Kevin Smith KSR. Kevin is building his olds to take the olds smallblock record twin turbo build.
I was in Miami years ago and it was snowing on South Beach. Didn’t build up any really but they weren’t read for that at all. I mean putting on 3 bikinis doesn’t help much.
LOL I just drive to your channel always thought you did stuff for the other channel are you guys going to sick weak and what vehicle are you taking at AMC or I do believe it's that black GMC Sonoma or the black Chevy S10
Dude your videos are cool . But quit complaining about money . Allways this is gonna cost thats gonna cost . The whole oh he painted it gold im sure thats extra !!! Not wow man i appreciate the extra work that looks great !!! And pick ur feat up when you walk !!!!!!!!! Thats pure laziness . Like i said ur videos are cool . I hope you can take some constructive criticism . If not hmmm oh well . When people go out of their way just like you did getting stuff for everyone . Its nice to be appreciated . I hope you can take this advise and grow your channel .
First because it’s unnecessary emissions and second your insurance company would not pay out if stolen while idling unattended. Obviously yours decide to prevent the second option.😂
Tell Uncle Bob I lived in the Ft. Myers area 54 years. We had snow flurries twice in the 1970's.
Love watching this type of content.
I love what you are doing mat and I love you cars
Great video 👍
I had a 64 F85. Lost it years ago when I was in college. Love that body style. Wish I still had one. I’ve always wondered if that blue car was a F85
I had a 63 F85 Cutlass, first year. 215 4 barrel, 4 speed, dual exhaust. Car hauled a$$.
Nice. I had a lot of 60’s olds when I was younger. I wish I never sold them.
We had a '63 convertible F-85, white exterior with powder blue interior.
Snow ❄️ wow Bob
Good video ❤
It is obvious you had a busy day! Glad to see you running around doing work. Miss you guys, will be back in April.

It took me a while to complete the video but it was a good one 👍

I will bring an empty truck when i come back to pick all of this stuff and take it back to Lucore!
It totally agree with small businesses, I was one. But in all your praise you forgot mention a giant corporation actually did what they say they can.
I always roll the window down if keys are in car😂
The idea was to have the car still warm when it was 5 degrees outside ;) And THAT worked, the car WAS still warm... I just wasn't able to get in it ;)
it was getting close to snow down here, i live between fort myers and west palm beach

Or even no keys and an RF signal... that can be hacked and your car stolen without even needing a key ;)

There is a loft that I haven't even been able to inventory full Pontiac parts

Who decided on small block gold? 😊
Got any parts to pick up in northern Ireland? I am heading that way. Sitting in Charlotte airport for 5 more hours then hopping the big pond.
That's awesome have a great time! I LOVE Ireland been there several times wonderful people and incredible scenery. Gonna hit the Giants Causeway while you're there? Hopefully you have a rental car and can enjoy some amazing drives over there!
Flywheel for the Olds?
Got it sitting here and ready to spin!
I'm seriously considering getting my MGB ready to go to Power Tour... mind you talking about 3500 mile round trip
I believe that man in New York built an engine for Kevin KSR performance in Bradenton, Florida and he has a video probably a year a year and a half ago of the man’s shop on his UA-cam channel
I'll have to check that out! Dude certainly knows his stuff and came through major for us in a pinch!

Michigan people wear shorts year round also ice cream shops are still open
Austin the Olds guy in ny i believe is the same man who built the smallblock olds for Kevin Smith KSR. Kevin is building his olds to take the olds smallblock record twin turbo build.
Kevin used Bill Trovato.
Awesome video! Thank you for sharing.. EPIC!
I know you are dreading it but I need an update on the intake strippers 😂
I thought the parts were made out of knapped flint?
That technological advancement didn't happen until later after twigs and sticks ;)
I was in Miami years ago and it was snowing on South Beach. Didn’t build up any really but they weren’t read for that at all. I mean putting on 3 bikinis doesn’t help much.
How many miles do you drive in a week brother
Depends on the week but... every trip to and from Bob's is 100 sooo....
But general answer is a LOT :)
I would imagine the three fifty would get at least a couple miles to the gallon better than a four fifty five
LOL I just drive to your channel always thought you did stuff for the other channel are you guys going to sick weak and what vehicle are you taking at AMC or I do believe it's that black GMC Sonoma or the black Chevy S10
Having the car not do a 90 degree turn mid track seems pretty second place to Tommy Slam it 2 Guns. He gots priorities.
I think Bob, like everybody else, thinks you're a little too goofy.IMO
As I am watching this at12:57pm Trump is listening to the victims of Helene tell their stories. He definitely is the people’s president.
And he is going to do what?
Yessir America 🇺🇲 let's freaking go brother 🦅💯💡🔥
@@Thecleananunseenteam as I asked what is he going to do?
@@andrewstoffel1170he's going to take care of our country instead of everybody else's unlike your president
@@jeffbishop12 agreed, providing your already a billionaire.
i dont know how you keep track of everything
Tommy, Tommy, Tommy, we don't love the truck because its slammed. Do what you have to do to make it launch and not toss a drive shaft!
I cut that ugly oil fill penile down and put a rubber plug on it, I thought it made the engine look better!

It’s illegal here in Europe to leave your car running while you shopping.
Wait whaaaaat?! That's wild!
First because it’s unnecessary emissions and second your insurance company would not pay out if stolen while idling unattended. Obviously yours decide to prevent the second option.😂
One more reason the EU SUCKS.
I disliked your video
Well I disliked your comment, but thanks for commenting
Well don’t watch anymore and really show him!
