The hardest part is paying $225 for it, practice and prepare for it and then...

For me it’s a controversial topic. I got a low score on my first try on all four sections. The second time I pulled myself out of my dark corners after a serious pep talk by somebody. However, my original reading score diluted by two points and I ended with a 11. Whereas, I received a 13 in the first attempt. The most recent time I took the TOEFL my listening had decreased by six points. And my reading increased by two points. Ironically my original test day should be on September 4th, but sometimes circumstances can change and we have to be satisfied and mentally prepared to cope with the challenges. I had slept at 3:00 am before the test and didn’t get a proper breakfast. Also I got distracted by girls. Had I kept up with my original test date under a different country I believe I could have maintained a score between 91-92: because I had done over 36 reading passages and average a 7 out of 10 per reading passage. So it would mean 21, 23, 23, 24 ( possibly 25 had I gone through the proper samples ) and learned how to write concisely. But overall, I would say the reading is arguably the most difficult for me mainly due the depth it covers. The second been timing, and learning how to stay motivated throughout the test. Listening got quite hard because I hadn’t practice and my auditory skills had become rusty. I believe with a more adjustment minded and hard working ethic I’ll be able to score something in the 100 given a month.

    Thanks for video and advice!
in my case, as i think, the most problematic stage is speaking but - also in my case i have two reasons for it.
    1) even in my own language i sometimes i have troubles in speaking :D Uhm, actually not speaking but in EXPRESSING my opinion. think that this is more psychological problem than unskilling problem )
    2) In my opinion i think that if i have more vocabulary skill in english, i believe that there will be less problems in speaking skill :)
And my main "power" is reading - like in english and like in my native language. About my english, at school and at university and also some of my friends native english speakers said that i have quite good pronouncing in english, almost like native english. but when i've been asked i have heavy difficulties to speak...if more accurate, in expressing my opinion, due to upper two reasons, i think :)

Hi! teacher Lucas. I have some trouble with the writing part specifically with the integrated essay, and that is because when I write, it just looks like that I am comparing the reading with the lecture. I need a good strategy to don't repeat words or sentences frequently. I will be very grateful if you help me. Thanks anyway.

hi. wanna to share my experience on writing. i think the most problems occured with writing especially essays are coming from low developed fantasy :) you know, even test taker have good vocabulary skill he facing with the problem of writing essay, so thats mean the problem is in his head, on making images and fantasies and this problem can be solved via training yourself of writing essays :) i tell more, firstly try to write essays in your native language, do it not one or two times :) and in parallel just translate your essay to english - this will improve your imagination and fantasy. i know people who are not have so good vocabulary skill but having good imagining can wright any essays without problems. so good lucks for you. and waiting comment from Lucas :)
