I will say that I think Xenoblade 2 had the best found family trope in the entire series
Always nice to see some Xenoblade 2 love! If I had to rank them Id probably rank the main games the same way (X-3-1-2) and do the expansions separately only swapping Torna and FR. All Xeno games are my favorite pretty much with XC2 and Xenogears being at the very top

My personal ranking:
1. Xenoblade 1 (Favorite Game of All Time)
2. Future Redeemed (This is recency bias but I'm having so much fun and the endgame changed EVERYTHING we knew ab this franchise)
3. Xenoblade 2 (Combat is super fun once you learn it. Xenoblade 2 is a game you learn to love, and love it HARD)
4. Xenoblade X (The exploration and gameplay of this game is truly unmatched. If this game had online play where you could explore the world with friends and fight monsters together, it would probably be Number 1. That story is pretty rough tho, maybe X2 will tell a better story based on the lore Future Redeemed dropped 👀)
5. Xenoblade 3 (Easily the best combat system in my opinion, the class customization is insane. Probably the best exploration in the main Trilogy as well. This game woulda been Top 3 if the villains weren't mid as hell besides N, and if there was alot more fanservice for long time fans, like what we got in Future Redeemed. Definitely the best Final Battle in the series though, only thing I can think of that rivals it is Torna [I'm talking specifically about the gameplay here, thematically, Zanza & Alpha are far and away the best final bosses imo]. I want to love Xenoblade 3 so much more but it felt like that spark was missing. For instance, I used to not like Xenoblade 2. But once I finally pushed on through to Chapter 7 or 8 or so, and when Malos pulled out The Monado I lost it. And then Chapter 10 is what really made me lose it. Then after replaying Xenoblade 2 a couple times, it really ignited my love for the game. Xenoblade 3 feels like something's missing, like that trippy sci-fi revelation you get in the endgame. At least we got that and then some with Future Redeemed.)
6. Torna (This would literally be Top 3 if it wasn't for that Level 4 Community bullshit that blocked off the finale. Fuck. That. Shit.)
7. Future Connected (I really wanted more out of this, not bad by any means, but not really remarkable in the slightest.)

My Ranking is actually very close to yours:
7. Future Connected: I thought this little side story was... fine. It's a bit of a shame that the Telethia research with Tyrea never really resolves beyond just "we'll keep looking into it". Based on the Definitive Edition artbook, it REALLY seemed like we were going to get a conclusion to that. It really seemed like Future Connected was setting it all up, but alas. Gameplay was fine, but yeah, it felt like a slightly worse version of 1's.
6. Xenoblade X: This game is good, but MAN is it frustrating having to wait until halfway through the game to get Skells. Story is not very good in my opinion. Even if the big selling point of the game is the sidequests, I really wish they were more streamlined to fit better into the main narrative and it didn't feel like I had to go hours out of my way only to learn about characters who end up not mattering at all in the main story. That being said, I'd argue the world building of X is probably the strongest in the entire series and has CRAZY potential for a future installment. I really was not an X-2 believer until I played through it.
5. Xenoblade 3: Fantastic characters, fantastic music, and great moments. These are all things I would use to describe Xenoblade 3, but I would describe these things about Xenoblade 1 and 2 as well, if not more. There isn't a singular moment story-wise beyond Chapter 5 ending/ 6 opening that wasn't handled better in a different game in my opinion. Any character arcs that REALLY stand out in the game get completely mitigated due to... strange plot choices. For example, Mio's entire character arc and the reason she chose to continue being an Offseer (aka, the entire reason she BONDED with Noah in the first place) was because of Miyabi's death, only then for Miyabi to be magically brought back with her memories (and ONLY her, not even Mwamba got his memories back) because of.... Origin and flute playing and lucky seven shenanigans (I still find it funny that people call Xenoblade 2 the anime-trope game when 3 is also riddled with it too lmao). Things like this and the strange choice to remain ambiguous about MAJOR plot devices just felt incredibly out of place for a series so established at going the extra mile to explain how things work in excruciating detail. The gameplay is absolutely fantastic though, it's definitely up there as one of my favorites.
4. Xenoblade 1: The game that started it all. What else is there to really say that hasn't been said a million times? The iconography of this game is incredible and is the foundation for the entire series moving forward. My first exposure to Shulk was when he was first leaked for Smash 3DS in 2014, and something about his design just... REALLY radiated "iconic" energy to it and still does. And that "iconic" energy can be said about everything in this game. I do think though that there are too many of the same types of sidequests lmao.
3. Torna: Torna's introduction is probably one of my favorite introductions in the series. Two presumed fugitives on the run just trying to survive against the forces around them. The party in this game is fantastic and absolutely adds to Mythra's character arc to help justify her choices to stay hidden, and helps justify Jin's turmoil and how he turned the direction he did. This DLC proves that Malos is absolutely the best villain in the series in my opinion. Malos hated the world and hated the fact that Amalthus basically forced him to hate the world in the first place. And despite all of that, he STILL acts like the biggest troll. Dude literally shows up, trolls a little bit, does whatever the hell he wants, leaves, COMES BACK, and blows everything up. Undisputed best villain imo. Overall, fantastic gameplay, emotional story, and stellar music. (locking story progression behind Community feature made sense to get connected with the people of Torna, but that doesn't mean it didn't still feel like a slog to do lol)
2. Future Redeemed: This is most likely recency bias and will probably go underneath Torna once its over lmao. But man, this game was ABSOLUTELY needed to help explain the major problems I had with 3's base game. It gives us context about the missing characters, who and what the hell Riku is, Lucky Seven, Ontos, etc. Rex was absolutely amazing in this game, and I was SO happy that they kept his goofy and upbeat nature perfectly in-tact despite his learned maturity with his age. Same goes for Shulk and how he was handled. Matthew would probably be one of my favorite protagonists in the entire series if his character was part of a full-length 60 hour Xenoblade game and had more time to develop. He's the perfect kind of brawny/ adventurous character that I want to see more of in the future. My only real major gripe with Future Redeemed... is the Xenoblade 3 ambiguity problem. Things get resolved and explained, sure, but trying to come up with an actual explanation for the implications that MALOS/ LOGOS came back some how, where Mythra's kid was, why Rex and Shulk NEEDED to become the Avatar with A when Alpha was able to control Origin by himself, are all things I think that *really really desperately* needed to be explained better, or at least hinted at with enough ambiguity that a million different explanations aren't all technically the "correct" answer. This is the end of the Klaus saga, so I don't really understand the incessant need to keep everything so incredibly open-ended (unless these things play a massive role in Xenoblade 4 and we just aren't supposed to understand it yet). Other than these things, it was an absolutely perfect send-off.
1. Xenoblade 2: This was the first Xenoblade game I played. Played it completely on a whim. I found it at the store and decided to buy it on impulse, knowing nothing about it. And now it sits as one of my favorite games of all time. This game really opened the floodgates to giving me a more philosophical and existential thought process because of how well the narrative is handled in all aspects regarding free will, tyranny, and human desire. It's all SO interesting. As a musician, the OST is probably one of the greatest soundtracks I've ever heard in my life. You KNOW a soundtrack is so special that even the lead composer cried at hearing his own music when it was finally put together. Minus the obvious field skills and gacha problems, I still think Xenoblade 2 has the best gameplay in the franchise. There's so much intricate depth to every single mechanic that exists in the game, that there were things I was STILL learning about it 200 hours in (and that's not just because of the bad tutorials lmao). The narrative has flaws to it, especially in regards to fan service that I really hope gets retooled for an eventual Xenoblade 2 Definitive Edition, but it still has so much goofy charm to it that I wish people could see the perspective for. Almost every major anime trope in this game is completely subverted here in such a way where it's actually JUSTIFIABLE to moving the plot forward (save for a few moments like Mythra bed scene, Tora shenanigans, etc). That's something I've NEVER seen another anime/ shonen-styled story do effectively. And yet... people who've never played the game that know about Xenoblade 2 don't ever actually get to SEE these subversions. They only see the tropes in out-of-context twitter clips. It's no surprise this game is the most controversial in the series. But for me, this was one of those games that released at the absolute perfect time in my life, and I will ALWAYS be a defender for it.

2 and 3 are super close, still can't really choose man
ngl, that's kind of a peak list. Not many people will agree with you putting 1 at 1 but I get why. 1 had the most customization and I love the large amount of gems you can have. When I played 3 I was a little disappointed by the lack of gems, like 1 had over 200 different ones while 3 had like 24. I liked how 1 had heart to hearts which encouraged you to explore while 3 had nothing of the sort. I feel like in a decade or so, after a remake of 2, Monolithsoft should remake 3, adding the collectipedia system and adding heart to hearts. Like when I was playing FR, I realized how many things 3 could've had, like an affinity system allowing you to get skills that make you deal more damage etc. I wouldn't say FR is better than 2 due to its short length but it's definitely top 3.

The dlcs are too short for me to put them over a main game
I get that but for me, FR was better than 3 due to it having much better things like the collectipedia system, the enemypedia system, the heart-to-heart system and the affinity system. 3 is an amazing game, it's 100% in my top 5 favourite games of all time but It had way too many missed opportunities. If it had all the stuff that I just mentioned I would get where you were coming from, but as it stands now, it isn't better than FR to me.
Edit: Another problem with 3 is that when you save, it places the cursor on the first save. Now this is fine with first playthroughs and everything but when you do NG+ you might accidentally save over your first save and have to pray that you made a quicksave on your first file otherwise you just lose it forever. This happened to me once, and I lost my main file and went from being lvl 87 after finishing the game, to lvl 66, miles before the fight with Z. I really hate that and I really hope that they go back and fix it. Like this wasn't in previous games, DE had it perfectly, where if you loaded a save and then went to save, it placed the cursor on the save you are currently on. Idk how after 2 years of development they managed to make that bad of a mistake. Maybe its because it was only 2 years. If there was more maybe the things that I was talking about would be implemented.
In terms of gameplay, X is the best hands down.
Story wise, 2 was the best for me. I was so invested in it

XC2 had the best story I just wish they could have fleshed it out more, but I still loved it. :)
Based list, I personally put 3 and future redeemed over DE even though FR has made me appreciate shulk more, I just love the emotional storytelling that 2 and 3 have which I don't feel 1 really strives for but that's just a personal thing. I still think every xeno game is peak.

JMulls, brother.. you hit the nail on the head. Xenoblade 2 is the perfect game, yet extremely flawed. It is my favorite video game of all time, probably favorite piece of fictional media. Even saying that, yeah I could critique the lip syncing, the bugs, the pacing, whatever etc etc. But at the end of the day the strengths of 2 by far outshine all of the flaws. 2 makes me laugh, cry, and cheer. And REX!!!!

I love FFXV, played it multiple Times and bought it 2 Times. I dont get it, why it is a bad Game.
@@mattgezockt2596 It was, before getting the Royal Edition update. I'm glad I played it when the update was already out. (Although I think Windows Edition and Royal Edition have some differences)
I still love 15 but I think the pacing in the back end is way too fast and feels jarring compared to the first half, and because of that a lot of the story surrounding the empire feels too rushed, but they got the important parts right for me since I loved the open world and the main characters themselves

Haven't played Xenoblade chronicles x yet.
It might be first play bias but 2 is also my favorite game, and for very similar reason as yours. It almost seems like most people's favorite Xenoblade game is the first one they play. I picked up XC2 in Dec 2017 on a whim vs Mario Odyssey and a few other games only because Shulk was added to Smash 4 and I kept hearing good things about Xenoblade Chronicles. It ended up being one of the best choices I've ever made.
For me, the ranking goes Torna>2>Future Redeemed>1>3>Future Connected (I haven't played X) but they are all very closely ranked together and are my favorite games of all time.
Yeah, there is only two things FR gets rights, Melia justice with the ponspectors and taking back her throne, and the music. Oh, first set of Nopon party members that doesn’t have any cringe elements

I have yet to play Xenoblade Chronicles X.
A few facts:
- I prefer Torna over FC but I'd rather replay FC over Torna because of the community system
-My first Xenoblade was XC and then I played XC2.
- Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is at least top 5 maybe even top 3 in my favorites games of all times, I love it that much
- I love how you can play the main games in any order, that's one of the greatest strengths of this franchise imo.
Overall not bad ranking in the slightest pretty similar to mine actually.
1. Xc1 fantastic story and visual design with a very underrated combat system. Only drawback is some of its mechanics are very dated and horrible side content design.
2. Xc3 great story and characters coupled with perhaps the most thought provoking setting in the franchise. The side content is also fantastic only behind X. Unfortunately as you said the last 1/4 of the game felt extremely rushed. I liked the ending and thought it was beautiful, but early chapter 6 and most chapter 7 just felt so rushed. Seriously it needed like maybe 2 more chapters worth of story.
3 FR: concluded the saga magnificently and brought with it a sense of character uniqueness and progression unseen since xc1 and gives us more in the history of xc3, not something the game it’s self really did. Unfortunately it suffers from the same problem that torna had in that I found just a little too short. Personally I would’ve preferred if it got released as a fully fledged game like the main titles same goes for torna
4. X arguably the best gameplay and world building in franchise and my second favorite when it comes to ost, main story takes a hit yes, but the world building sort of makes up for that. Although you can definitely tell they had something planned with the sheer amount of unused concepts.
5. Torna. It streamlined 2s gameplay and brought with it more insight into alreast history and made Jin already one of the best xeno villains and elevated him and Lora to new level. Alas it wasn’t long enough for my liking and I would’ve preferred if it also gave us more mythras and adams earlier travels. Similar to future redeemed I wish it was full game rather than a dlc expansion.
6. Xc2 this ranking has nothing to do with story or characters I love 2s story and characters, but it’s the gameplay that really holds it back for me. The gacha system is whatever at best and a pain at worst, the blade affinity chart is fine, but some blades are just an absolute chore to fill out. The tutorials and descriptions are just outright bad and don’t explain the game’s mechanics well. Finaly the override protocol, god I hate these things. I know why they’re there, but still it severely hampers your freedom and flexibility when it comes to combat.
7. FC. It’s fine for what it is and concludes Melias story as well as setting up future redeemed

- I loved X1 through and through. The characters, the world, the gameplay, all tied with a beautiful story that depicts struggle, revenge, racism, understanding, and many other deep themes. The Bionis and Mechonis is an original idea, and the 2 are deeply tied to the story. side quests are not great. The more one understands the gameplay, the more fun it becomes. XX and X2's gameplays are a close 2nd.
- XX did not have a story, but I felt like I was terraforming another planed. I loved it. The gameplay is amazing, recruiting new memebers is fun, and making insane builds is a blast.
- X2 required some getting used to at the start. I love the characters and Blades, but the story was not what I expected after having played X1 and having expectations. The Titans themselves just exist and do not really contribute much to the story in a meaningful way. Sure, the game attempts to explain their existence as former Blades, but the idea is not really meshed with the story. I felt like they existed only to serve as the Bionises and Mechonises of X2. The gameplay is very fun, as you can get very creative with the builds. Azami is my favorite Blade.
- X3 was enjoyable for its gameplay for me. The ''mixing'' of characters from X1 and X2 archetypes to create ''monsters'' was just confusing to me. Cool characters, but the story lacked some substance for me.
- Torna was a great way to introduce how Drivers and Blades actually fight, instead of Blades just standing there. I always felt like that was a bit awkward, especially since the Blades are shown in X2 as capable to actually fight with their own... blades.
- FC was not fun at all. I will be honest. Melia is my favorite Xenoblade characters, and this story did not do her justice at all. Why is the Shoulder floating, when it should have fallen with the rest of the Bionis? Where is the Fallen Arm? Why can't we explore a Bionis that is scattered around as pieces in the ocean? The shoulder was made a test map that has 0 ties to the story, as confirmed by the devs themselves many years ago. Why are they pretending that it is now an integral part of the story? To me, the shoulder felt very bland. The base game had unique environments, each having their defining characteristic, while the should felt like a open field that is copy/pasted with no substance. Why did FC not explore Melia and Tyrea's relashionship into detail? Controlling Tyrea would have been amazing, instead of a copy/paste of Reyn and Sharla. All in all, the whole game is an uninspired copy/paste. I am a bit salty with the one because my expectations were shattered with this one.
I can be a bit too direct, but this is just my opinion on the games. I played X1 back when it first came out in 2011 (I'm 31... pretty old hehe), so the game means alot to me. I though I would experience more of that magic from subsequent games that bore the Xenoblade name but I was not exactly right, but that is ok.
7) 1 - Future Connected (Very fun, quickest to run through, a bit difficult in comparison with other stories, a bit lacking in the story department when compared to everything else)
6) X (Super fun, best world, cool story ideas but not enough payoff/focus on it)
5) 2 - Torna (Favorite character Jin gets a spotlight, tragedy is beautifully horrific, combat is super creative)
4) 3 - Future Redeemed (Story is Great, fanservice is incredible, and the moment-to-moment exploration and gameplay is absolutely the best it’s ever been with the Affinity system)
(Wrong to put any of the full numbered lower than their extra bits imo)
3) Xenoblade 1 - (Absolutely fantastic story, Shulk is awesome, combat is great but relatively not as good as the others just because it was their first attempt, exploration is great and areas are beautiful)
2) Xenoblade 3 (Probably the objectively best combat system, great world to explore, phenomenonal party, super interesting ideas, Chapter 5-6)
1) Xenoblade 2 (Bit rough after the very beginning, but makes up for it with both the actual most beautiful worlds and locations but also the best narrative and overall cast of characters in my opinion. My favorite combat in the series, love the blade system, and it has my #1 Jin #2 Zeke #4 Aegis characters. Wasn’t even my first game in the series, but it’s easily my favorite)
Why do UA-camr's keep putting "here's what happened" in the title when it doesn't make sense. What happened, did you get mobbed halfway through recording? No, you just ranked videogames. I digress.
It's always nice to hear someone gush about 2. It's my favorite video game of all time. It really was just an amazing experience. I'm not so foolhardy to say it's perfect, I know and understand it's flaws better than most. And I know it could really turn people off with it's tone for the first half. But I personally just LOVED the goofy, light hearted bits of the characters. I'm hoping and praying that after the serious, more thematic story we got in 3, we get something more like 2. A little more silly, and a little more concrete.
3 is definitely my favorite. (Best to worst) 3-2-FR-Torna-1-the dlc for 1- X (I didn’t play X🤣)

Xenoblade chronicles x is probably my favorite game ever so il will put it number one in this list and XC2 in second position
Just about to beat Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition and was looking to which one to play next. Now I know for sure to get XENOBLADE CHRONICLES 2!

Pneuma(Mytra and Pyra), Logos(Mhalos) and Ontos(alvis and A) are the perfects egidas for the serie. I LOVE ALL XENOBLADE but this is my list:

For me it is:

Its a biased list, i played all of them when they came out (1 in 2011). But i didnt play Torna or FC in one playthrough, because i did find it kind of boring at the time. I played them later fully but they didnt amaze me like the other titles did.
I love 2 very much, but the first half it felt a bit tedious (in all of my 3 playthroughs) and i like the more adult charme and way in the other games even if 2 is also in my top 10 of all times.
I did play 3 when it came out for 60 hours but then i forgot about it. Now i played it from start again (four to five weeks vefore FR came out) and played it for over 230 hours and almost did 100 %.
I love the Gameplay in X so much and the Story is for what it is pretty good. I played it multiple times and for only that game i bought a wii u when X was revealed. Im not to sure if for the gameplay this game or elden ring or monster hunter takes the crown.
Future Redeemed was for me a pure Nostalgia Trip in my Childhood (13 years back). I did get so much of it because there was so many homages for Old NPCs and Quests, for Example the Cantine or the Mushroom-Nopon, also the Lord of Raguel-Lake. And besides of that every Exploration is rewarded and that makes this Game so amazing on Top.
Yes.. the First game will always be my favorite Game of all Time because it brought me to "real" Gaming. I played it every year until 2 came out to 100 %. Every time i discovered more or less something new or understood some more of it. Its partly made me the Person i am today and the deep philosophical Story shaped me.
I would put 2 lower on my list due to the gacha but otherwise I agree with almost everything you said for the games except Xs music. The New LA theme both day and night made my ears want to bleed and worst is if you spend any time doing side quests it will get hammered into your head....plus there was no volume control for it so I could not mute it without muting the game totally.

This ranking is very similar to mine but alot more fair lol. I honestly think the final stretch of xc3's story is so bad it legit made me feel like it's the worst worst story in the series.

5 Xenoblade 1 don't get me wrong I love it but it's just I love the other games more. I love the day night variation as well. I think the gameplay is overhated
4_3 in equal position X and futur redemed. One because it's the best experience I have gameplay wise the other because it's a love letter to the franchise. Also I didn't finished FR don't spoil me.
2 Xenoblade 3... The themes mostly. But he is close to the first....

I haven’t played XC3, FR, or XCX yet (despite owning them), but here’s my list:
1. XC1 - great cast, greater landscapes, fantastic music, amazing art style, engaging and interesting story, simple yet fun fighting mechanics… what more can I say about this awesome game? The number of times I lost myself just exploring each area is too high to count. While XC2 has more battle mechanics and actions to perform, I kind of like the simpler style of XC1 more. I also thought the affinity system was great as it made me always switch up who was in my party, a feat that only this RPG has achieved for me. Overall, I have to say it’s my favorite RPG ever.
2. Torna - call me crazy, but I enjoyed the community system, although that’s probably because I was gonna complete it anyways lol. The cast is a huge improvement over XC2 with Jin and Lora being excellent protagonists. Also, this might have my favorite battle system so far with the vanguard switching and more efficient orb mechanics compared to the base game. The story was pretty solid, and the visuals were top notch. Some of the side quests did get pretty tedious toward the end, but I wasn’t too bothered by them.
XC2 - This game was exhausting the first two chapters, but it really started to pick up by chapter three. The scope of the game and its revelation of the various truths behind Alrest’s existence was genuinely cool. The battle system makes some notable improvements over XC1, but it kind of squandered it with the blade system, which I wasn’t a huge fan of. Torna’s battle system was a lot better for me as that game didn’t focus on using more than one blade per character. It just felt a bit clunky switching between blades and knowing which one to use in each scenario. I got used to it overtime, but I still didn’t find it as fun as XC1 or Torna in retrospect. The characters are a mixed bag with some being endearing, others being annoying, and a few just being kinda… there. I’m also not a huge fan of the over reliance of anime tropes for this game’s comedy, character designs, and writing. However, the music, landscapes, and story are still really good.
FC - It was a fun, short experience that had some neat characterization and solid closure for Melia. However, the story feels practically nonexistent compared to the other games, and the changes to the combat feel a bit arbitrary. Bionis Shoulder is a pretty cool area to explore, and the gem system I thought was pretty cool. The Noponspectors didn’t really need to be there, but I can’t say they hurt the experience either. While the above games range from 8-9.5/10, this is definitely a decent 7/10 experience. Good, but not great.
You are very right. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is absolutely the most polarizing game in the series. So many things about it I love and then some things that really bother me. For me personally it was Torna above the main game but yeah. I get that this is not an objective tierlist, everyone has their personal favorites.

XCX is by far the best game in the series as far as world design, exploration, and gameplay. It’s not even close. I wish they’d gotten to expand the story further with a sequel as I was interested in the mystery that is Mira. The quest system in that game is total garbage. Soundtrack was also full of bangers.
XC1 for story. It had compelling pro/antagonists. Followed closely by XC2. The villains in 2 just weren’t as interesting, and revenge is a much more understandable motivation than “I must reach the world tree for vague reasons.”
XC3’s cast were by far the most boring. I found it a struggle to stay engaged on any hero quest, or main for that matter. XC3’s cast really didn’t struggle to win any battle. So the villains never really felt like a threat. There were also waaaaay too many villains. The previous game’s antagonists had understandable motivations. The consuls seemed to be a cartoonish evil. No real motives outside of hurting people. N did an alright job as the focal point for a bit, and that’s because of his understandable motivations, but he should have been the final boss. You defeat him too early. Z was a joke. The final boss is the feelings of the world personified? Did we hurt the world’s feefees? Come on. It looks like FR expands on that. I hope by a lot.
I’ve not beaten FR yet. Torna was a solid addition. FC was meh. Not really sure what it added.

I dont know bro, they make it *pretty* clear multiple times in the story that Malos wants to kill the Architect (Klaus). Malos' reasoning for it is because he hates the way the world works, having been forced to hate it due to the influence of his driver Amalthus. Jin had the only person that mattered to him killed off because of Amalthus, who only established his position of power by manipulating the world around him. Jin then developed the same ideals as Malos, which is why Jin and Malos work in tandem. They don't just hate Amalthus, they hate that the Architect created the world in such a way that a man like Amalthus could thrive and succeed in the first place. Their reasoning is far from "vague"

Having played xc2 befor 1, and no nostalgia, i can say the storys good, but whery basic and predictabil (so is game 3 but still)
The gems are jsut... an inslult to my time since there jsut time waisters to farm (like in 3... if i get 2 per kill and a kill takes 1 min on average, it eill take me 1 HOUR PER GEM) and there biggest offence: there really weak compared to aux cores and stuff from 2... atleast make it worth my time
And my main problem is that scene from avangers:"put that siut of armor away, what are you???"
Like the part relyes ONLY ON THE Monado, they never really consider if it was not there

It makes Sense that the Monado is the Main Point in the Game. In 2 there are very many Blades that can fight, but in 1 there is only the Monado that can defeat Mechon and later Ether. But the Monado manipulate Ether so its the same. And everyone becomes a Hero, just like in 2.
And his Replacement is from the Machina, so of Course before its difficult to know because they dont know that Machina exist. Besides, the Xord in Colony 6 is destroyed through Ether, Face Mechons at Eryth Sea are destroyed by Prison Island

Ehh i don't agree tbh, i feel like xc1's story is more consistent throughout the game while xc2 has some parts in there that i actively try to suppress from my mind.
Don't get me wrong I believe xc2 still has probably the highest emotional points in the series, i just don't believe it's "objectively" a better story than 1

Eh, I dont know about the character part. The only main characters who I thought were genuinely interesting were Zeke and Morag. Everyone else felt a bit anime-trophy in a bad way imo. Mythra, Nia, and Torra got on my nerves because they’re two tsunderes and a creepy fluff ball. Rex, Pyra, and Poppi were pleasant enough and had their moments, but I never felt consistently engaged with them. Vandham would have been a really cool character, but you don’t exactly get to know him very long. Dromarch, Pandoria, and Brighid felt like they were just there with no significant impact.
I thought XC1 had a much more consistent quality in terms of the cast. Shulk is still one of the most unique JRPG protagonists I’ve witnessed, Reyn has plenty of comedic moments while still proving his loyalty and support for his friends when moments get serious, Amelia goes through many losses but still has the heart and strength to carry on with a strong face despite her pain as seen in several cutscenes, Dunban just gives off cool uncle vibes, Riki genuinely feels like the heart of the group and has one of the most touching moments in the game despite his goofiness, and Sharla may be a bit bland but still has a good personality and demeanor about her to the point where I liked her anyways. The only main character of XC1 that I didn’t like too much was Fiona because she was just “I love Shulk” the character, but she never made me annoyed like some of the XC2 characters did.
This is all just my opinion though. I still like both games, but I find XC1 to be much better with its characters and interactions.

2 has so many flaws and the most annoying main character. Sure, Rex has some cool moments and he is not so bad at the ending, but man there are so many times where I wanted to punch him in the face during my various playthroughs of the game.
XBC2 has good fighting system, cancelling and the whole elemental orb ting makes the combat really dynamic and diverse, but then you have the blade system.
While adding to the combat and having some nice characters and stories to offer, you have the gotcha system and some of the cringiest designs in all of RPG history.
Sometimes I felt embarrassed playing the game, though nobody but me was in the room.

I agree with this list for the most part except for 2 being at the top. I just think there are too many gameplay issues with the game that I can't really score it higher than X. I love the game though and if I bite my tongue with some of the more annoying gameplay problems it has I can have a good time with it. Torna is definitely at the top of my list though because it got rid of most of the problems I had with the main game. As much as the community system is a bit of an issue with that game I'm more of a completionist than someone who rushes through these games so it's never been a problem for me.
