It's also the reason why I like playing champs like Twitch as ADC or Kayle in top who can easily push frozen lanes without too much risk of death

Don’t complain others, focus on your own play. If you good enough, u will climb to high elo eventually. Nasus is not a bad champ for climbing if you really good at wave controlled.
You just have to look at Dopas philosophy, you don't have to be the most skilled player, you just need to learn what the correct playstyle is and minigate bad decision making, because in the long run you will climb by being consistent. An example, 5 enemies group mid, you got 4 of your teammates, there you don't group, you go for the side lane. You should always assume your team does the right thing and do not engage. So their decision making should not affect yours, even if they make the wrong decision you stick to yours so you create that habit of always doing the right play, even if it leads to a loss.
It’s all about wave control. It’s not hard for good nasus to play against Darius or sett in high elo. Unless the Darius is extremely clean such like rank 1 Darius or XCM. Sett is easy if you really good at wave control.
