I don't know where you are from, so please forgive me if I'm stating the obvious. What you wrote is 100% true, and Michelle's attitude towards James is mirrored in every interaction between a random Irish person and a random English person. It's just... it's just how things are over here 😆
When James was leaving, it was very touching. The shock, and sadness. "You're a Derry Girl, James"! Well acted too. I felt the pain too. And glad he returned to the girls. 🌹❤️🙃
Michelle does really love James, it just her way. She know she can bully him, but she wouldn’t let him be bullied by anyone outside the group. It how some siblings react to each other. Please make a Derry Girls Film 🎥
Nope, it's worse than hate. She despises him. That said, if Michelle was patient and lived for another 100 years she wouldn't have a problem with the "English". The Asianization of England will see to that.
The scene when James leaves and he says “She’s my mother, Michelle” - I always want her to say “I’m your cousin, James” as if it’s a trump card. And it would be.
Michelle: f* me sideways! Mary: language, Michelle! Michelle: come on Mary that's ridiculous. Mary: even so. god I love that bit, Mary's like "yes you are correct he's a massive f*ing ride but don't swear"
Liam Neeson as the policeman and James goes "I'm a boy " and the instant reply is "course you are love" FUNNY. This show is all about the comic timing.
Kinda make the “Bring Bobby Sands” quip in the first episode a little more relevant; it’s like she was trying to cope with the fact that her brother was IRA
@@viewer.123 You have commented under a video entitled "The best of michelle and her hatred towards James", hatred that stems purely from the fact he is English, that's what I'm on about.
Bet you're fun at parties. It's called a joke. Having a laugh. Bit of banter? Considering the English have messed about so many countries, them countries are allowed to take the piss. Same way we Brits take the piss out of Americans, or is that going to upset you as well😂
"Where are the girls' toilets?" - "It's an all girls' school, James, there are no boys toilets." - "So I should just use the girls' toilets then?" - "No, you shouldn't, you f* pervert!"
It's fun to watch the whole series again, but literally ignore the plot and dialogue...and just watch Orla in the background. Every single scene, she's doing something hilarious! I personally love when she puts a box on her head in the haunted house episode when they all grab weapons to defend themselves from the "ghost." Or in season 1 where the girls are talking about Paris and Orla is busy unsticking her tie from her lollipop.
She loves him she just hates the fact that he's british. When he told he will leave Derry, she was so devasted. And he do love her back. Like when Michelle had a fight with Erin he choose her camp. They give strong siblings energy.
"you can't just walk up to someone and ask if they're a lesbian." "scuse me hi are you a lesbian." (person shakes head) "..i stand corrected." your honor i love them
It's not that Michelle hates James. She just holds him personally responsible for England's conduct throughout history. 😂

Well the UK in general.
Lol literally. I’m just glad it’s in a comedy and when it matters, she’s shown to truly care for James the most
He's lucky she's not Scottish
And yet when he genuinely almost left the girls including Michelle were heartbroken 😂
In fact Michelle was the most upset, hence why she yelled at him and told him he was a Derry girl
"IIIII aaaaaam a Devvyy guwwww"
The N Irish do this to everyone, often people they have genuine affection for. It is very confusing if you come from another culture.

Michelle is the one who gave him the biggest hug when he stayed.
“We’ve got the gist. They ran out of spuds, everyone was ragin’.”
Unforgettable dialogue.
Every single time 😂
Too bad it's a lie.

she literally opted to leave James behind to see a concert instead ☠️

I always laugh out loud at that one. The timing on this show is impeccable. And the writing is completely top-tier.
Funniest lines of the show.
Liam Neeson as the policeman and James goes "I'm a boy " and the instant reply is "course you are love" FUNNY. This show is all about the comic timing.
LiamNeeson is hot 😂my reaction would have same as Michelle 💀💕
This show is one of greatest things I’ve ever seen. Too bad it was only 3 seasons.
And Michelle is right. She’s an absolute ride
low af standards
4 seasons their just not all on Netflix
@@dead4419 no worries, mate. Soon, you can afford a robot so you'll get a ride too.
I totally agree! The best show that I have seen on Netflix! Too bad they added Clinton at the end.
Either I'm over the hill or you're desperate.😂
orla's acting in background is legit
She's my favorite 😂
Until we found out about Michelle's brother we couldn't understand her fear of being left by the group.
And her need for James.
Eh she has a fear of being left???????
She had a brother?! Wow spoiler alert! Lol spoiler on. I have only gotten through series 2.

I like the bit where Michelle is shouting; "Get out!" at the kid in the shop, then he just nicks a sweet and legs it.
0:51 is absolutely brilliant. Gets me every time.
Now get out!
2:19 I’m pretty sure says “and what the hell do you think you’re doing claire? The Haka??” That makes me proud to be from NZ 😁😂

"Everyone's lost a cousin during the times" 😂😂😂
Doesn't she say "Who hasn't lost a cousin or two in their time?"
This is the most fantastic series ever.
Watching from afar in NZ and can't wait to see series 3.
Oh, please do. It hits every right note and that finale still gives me goosebumps. What a show and what an ending!
Enjoy when you get to watch it. Series 3 was brilliant.

“Aye if only!” 😂
4:35 Michelle not sharing her crisps with James was probably her most and only English moment throughout all 3 seasons 😅😅😅
I could watch Michelle 24/7 she is an incredible actress!
Michelle: “What’s the big deal we all have one (fanny)”
James: “I don’t”
Michelle: “You are one”

That's how me and my guy friends talk to each other 🤣
“Is that because you’re his granda” is so funny
The way they always gaslit him too 😂😂😂
3:00 Mischelle has the best comebacks, I was laughing so hard at this :DDD
'We don't listen to you' cracks me up every time.
The absolute best writing and casting! One that I watch over & over, every character is so well casted!

As a non-native speaker, I'm watching this with subtitles and I *still* only understand a third of it at best.
5:20 Climb back up yer fucking Ma. - Return to the womb.
Impressive use of grammar and punctuation for a “non-native speaker” 😉
The subtitles are auto generated and almost entirely wrong so u would probably be better without them lol

James’ No Fear jacket is so painfully 90s and I’m here for it!
This is deadass the way that me and my cousin verbally abuse each other. Even better that my name is Michelle and his name starts with a J as well😂
