I love when people say things like "just set alarms" "check the clock more often" because it absolutely does not work like that, for me at least. I do the thing where I turn off an alarm but then forget that I turned it off and then forget that I was even supposed to do something. I also got a giant glowing clock so 'It'd be impossible to miss the time' but it's now blended into my everyday surroundings and my brain just doesn't register its existence, on top of that the few times I do check it the executive dysfunction jumps in and I literally cannot force myself to do The Thing. I also struggle with the whole now or later thing a bit because someone could say something about doing something in a week/month and I just do not comprehend that time is passing because that's all the way in the future, I don't have to think about the future because I'm busy thinking about the present that I neglected to think about in the past because it was the future. Having a wonky brain is so fun and never bad or stressful ever.
I have time blindness - I thought this was a whole episode, and when it suddenly ended I felt cheated. Now I'm trying to find the whole episode - I thought there'd be a link? But I can't find it and now I guess I'll have to scroll through all your videos to find it. But I'll probably find something else to watch instead. And a week from now I'll be saying to myself, wasn't I looking at something about time blindness the other day? But I won't remember what it was and I'll give up with a vague feeling of frustration. ADHD IS FUN!!!

My reply disappeared, I guess? I can’t find it now. Anyway, it’s “#234 Science of ADHD Time Blindness”.
