    I have wanted a Maxi Trac air compressor for awhile, but they are always out of stock. (now Discontinued)Enter the Tozalazz Dual piston air compressor I found on Amazon. It has roughly the same size, weight, & shape as the Maxi Trac, (it seems to be a clone) So lets race them and see which one is the fastest! (I think the tozalazz is made by Gobege)

In fact when I need to air up a tire on the daily its faster to get this out and use it then turn on my shop air and stretch a hose outside. I want to make a 4 in 1 equalizing hose to air up all 4 tires at once. I know theres companies that sell them but making one would be cool

    • @FlawedOffroad
      @FlawedOffroad  4 місяці тому

      it fills my 1 gallon onboard tank super fast. As for a service truck application, with enough volume I think it would do ok. check the duty cycle as Im not sure how long it can run continuous before it needs a break. Probably not your best option for that but It would work depending on how much use. Sometimes I connect it inline with my slow shop compressor so I can keep using air tools without having to wait for it to catch up

    single tire or 4 tire fill, your limited by the valve stem. core in 1.8 to 2 cfm. try a 4 tire test. both compressors produce more air than 4 stems can take with the cores in.

    • @FlawedOffroad

      Yeah that's why I tested without valve cores, I dont have a 4 tire fill system. I mostly wanted to see how the amazon compressor compared to the maxi trac. Both of them actually make as much air as my crappy 21 gallon shop compressor lol. Some day I will get more equipment and test a few more systems. Thanks for watchin

      @@FlawedOffroad no prob. been into compressors and air tools off and on bout 30 years. it's just been a couple months i've discovered 12v compressors worth looking at. made my own inline 4 tire system (speedsnake) in '89 when i got my first car. traded a boom box for it, fixed it up and spent the next few years couch surfing, doing odd jobs for gas and used tires. couldn't afford a tow, so i'd rob air from 3 to fill the flat one or add a 5th chuck to split 4 of mine to someone else or visa-versa (jumpflate) after i plugged it to get to the next gas station for air and a pack of smokes. back then the compressors were slow noisy and burned up too damn fast. my 3 main expenses back then was gas, tires and food... usually in that order. card board sign: "will race for food, will work for gas". guess which i got more of. ;P

    it's a thumper twin, i can go buy at least 20 with different brand names on them in australia. they all come out of china, they're all almost identical. a lot of them are identical just different colour different branding. there's no shortage of them and maxi trac isn't the original the thumper was (at least in australia it's been around for 15yrs or more) hence why they're known colloquially as thumper.

    • @FlawedOffroad
      @FlawedOffroad  10 місяців тому

      Over here in the states the Maxi trac was the first one I saw and probably most of us over here. I’ve never heard of thumper🤔 either way the reason I made the video is because the maxi track got extremely popular and it was very cheap and then it became impossible to get for a while so I found this as an alternative. After I made the video I’ve seen 10 or 15 more that looked just like it, and apparently the maxi track is back in stock under Napa branding now as well.
