He didn't "steal" a dragon, the whole point is that people aren't entitled to the dragons just like they aren't entitled to the throne, you need to actually put in work and show that you are smart enough and brave enough to tame it.
So contrary to what the Velaryon kids do think, dragons actually aren’t passed typically passed from parent to child. Daemon’s dragon, Caraxes, was his uncle’s, Princess Rhaenys’ father, dragon. But they’re kids so they wouldn’t really know better.
But he stole it, if you remember when Damon took the egg, they used the word stole nd came after him
@@okpareogaga4425 yeah but eggs are different than living dragons. The dragons themselves also choose riders. The eggs are placed with the babies so that they can immediately bond.
@@gavinallerton3414 oh is that your excuse now, meaning there is a rule, I tot u gyz said there isn't, a dragon is a dragon, the egg was stolen an egg dat would hatch nd become a dragon, so was vhagar it's the same tin, u gyz shld stop this hypocrisy
@@gavinallerton3414 if Damon had been wit d egg, he would have placed it eventually wit d daughters of laena, bt dey labelled him a tif, nd wat is a tif, someone who comes to ur Castle nd take wat dey feel like
@@gavinallerton3414 because you're just looking for an excuse, isn't it a dragon egg, if this had happened to aemond e would ve been furious
You are not entitled on claiming a dragon. Even if you are a Valyrian/Targaryen it doesn't mean you can become a dragon rider or that a dragon will accept you. Once a dragon becomes riderless is up for grabs for whomever is deemed and proves worthy enough to bond with it.
to a degree the king can say NO and if you claim one best hope you claimed a bigger dragon then the king
There weren't a lot failed bondings by Targaeryens (none?). It's usually first come, first serve. The bonding only fails for people with not enough Targaeryen blood like Quentin Martell or some of the Dragonseeds.
@@WirHyperboreer not really, there have been a couple of targaryanns killd by dragons who wouldn't bond with them.
@@WirHyperboreer go read the book, you'll know how wrong it is.
3:07 Daemon laughs because Vaemond (Brother of Corlys) gives his speech in Valyrian and while he mentions Laena's daughters with Daemon as true Velaryions, he also hints at the illegitimacy of the Children of Rhaenyra (See Rhaenyra's awkward grimace). This causes Daemon to laugh.
I've seen many posts that people think he laughed in order to divert the attention away from the children. Everyone knew what was being said and the children were getting looks up until Daemon laughed and took all the attention.
Dragons aren’t inherited they choose the rider it’s not easy if the dragon doesn’t want to be 💀
exactly
Yea I was rooting for aemond TBH. He was bullied for his whole life and than got 2nd biggest dragon in hystory. Dragons can't be stollen he claimed it. I like him just as much as daemon. If not more.
yh tbh Aemond probably saved the girl from being burned alive if Vhagar rejected her or Vhagar could have just as easily chose the girl if she approached sooner who can say..
Yea but did he steal d dragon yes, I will always use Damon episode 2 as an example, it's exactly the same tin, two dead pple had their Dragons stolen, but to u gyz one is right nd one is wrong?
@@davidchabashvili6848 he stole it, so why was Damon labelled a tif wen e took the egg?
Everybody's upset that Daemon laughs during the funeral, but I did the exact same thing. You need to listen to the eulogy.
Yeah people didn't pay attention to the eulogy, and missed the entire context. Then started seeing Daemon as a dickhead.
I laughed too but its wasnt my wife funeral. He should have hold it even if only for the sake of the daughters and maybe inlaws.
There are thoughts that he laughed to divert the attention off Rhaenys' children. He doesn't care about what people think of him and is willing to put himself in the limelight in order to protect those he cares about.
If Vhagar actually wanted to be claimed by Laena's daughter, she wouldn't have let Aemond claim her. Dragons in this universe are both magical and highly intelligent, especially if they're as old and large as she is. Adult dragons cannot be stolen, they always bond to whoever was meant to bond them, because they do the choosing and reject those they don't want. There's no one in the realm besides insanely sorcerous creatures like the Night King, that can influence or change that fate in any way or form.
Dragons are as smart as dogs in the universe, but they do choose who they bond with
@@ThePointlessBox_ only in-universe reference to their intelligence I’m aware of is Tyrion saying something along the lines of “It is said they’re as smart as people, maybe smarter”.
I don’t think they’re smarter than people, given that Tyrion was basing his comment on Maester commentary, which isn’t always accurate, and that dragons aren’t ruling the world. But they clearly have some kind of supernatural intelligence since they understand High Valyrian without it being taught to them. (Dany’s dragons didn’t have any experienced trainers like the HotD dragons, for example. Yet they seemed to know commands like Dracarys and Vlaa by default).
@@rushibrahim716 no the ''as smart as dogs'' comes directly from GRRM.
@@ThePointlessBox_ can I get a link or something for that? Not saying you’re wrong, just a fascinating topic to me and I’d like to read up more about Martin’s comments. I tried googling but couldn’t find anything directly from him.
What Time would she have had to claim a dragon wen I mom literally just died, is dat wat u would be thinking of?
The dragon is not a slave. You should know that. Vhagar tested Aemond and chose him.
Bt he stole him regardless, he knew he was Targaryen, why is everyone talking as if they didn't label Damon a tif wen e took the egg, because he actually told dem it was for his son
Now if u want to counter by saying he disrespected by taking a dead boys egg
Think again because u re defending someone who stole a dead woman's Dragon
@@okpareogaga4425 rules on eggs are different that dragons, after a rider dies a dragon is free to choose a new rider and whoever is able to claim it can claim it, they are not bound by family or anything, and the targaryen's respect that, while eggs are kept to be put in the cradles of trueborn babies, and is veeeery dangerous if dragon eggs end up in the hands of some noble family, since the dragon that hatches from the eggs bonds with whoever hatched it, so that family could get a dragon basically, the situation with eggs and dragons are different, dragon's have wills and choose who they follow they can't be stolen, while eggs are basically objects, like treasures, one is like a person choosing to follow someone the other is like stealing gold, two completely different things, also it was clearly a provocation to the king.
@@arion3459 so there are rules now, I see people saying they weren't any, that is why aemmond had the right to take it. Why are you people contradicting yourselves. I'm not mad he took it, I'm just saying he stole it and that's a fact, the same way Damon was labelled as a tif for taking the egg

true. and yea he threatened them with a rock but you're allowed to defend yourself with a rock when it's 4v1, cmon.
@@Dystisis the fact that he just held up the rock instead of immediately bashing that kids head in shows that it was his way of trying to get them to stop because he knew he couldn’t hold them all off forever

They were teaching him discipline
"was attacked first 4v1" so you forgot all the insults he threw at them? Even make fun of Jace and Luke's father death (while his mother was the one behind all of it) To most of the people, he kind of deserve it. I like Aemon as a villain just like I like Daemon but trying to play him as a victim, thats hilarious.
Dragon are not inherited, so... no it wasn't Rhaena's to claim. The dragons have something to say about it. Anyway, I think Olivia Cooke is killing, great performance. Also, kid Aemond was pretty good; it will be a pitty see him go, although the new actor seems very well casted. Anyway, GO TEAM GREENS!!!
team green!
hell yeah, love to see team green representing
Team Green !
Team green
Aemond is a really complex character. I get the feeling that what allowed him to make a connection with the dragon was his mental strength and his resolve. He's far more perceptive and intelligent than his older brother and he understands his position in the world much better. He's also been bullied and ridiculed his entire life and was born to a mother who conspired to put his unworthy brother on the throne his entire life. I think him claiming the dragon was ballsy as hell and sets him up as a formidable and even respectable antagonist. He's cruel to the other kids when they talk about him taking the dragon, but the dragon CHOSE him. He was worthy, in its eyes. To me that says A LOT about who he is as a person. And really he's not wrong about the other boys being bastards. It shouldn't matter that they are but think of how enfuriating it would be to have to keep quiet about an obvious truth that everyone can see and pretends not to notice. He was wrong to start the fight and escalate the violence but he paid for it all with his eye and ultimately accepts that as fair. He has MANY redeeming qualities. In fact, I'd love to see a redemption Arc for his character because I really think he's only acting the way he is because of circumstances beyond his control. I haven't read Fire and Blood so I don't know what's coming but I have a feeling I'm wrong and they're setting him up for a more traditional villain role. But I could see a path to redemption for that character in a way I couldn't imagine for his brother.
The books is unclear abt his headspace and his end is pretty sick tbh. Idk how they'll handle the character in the show but he's a lot like Daemon in terms of writing and character design, which makes the end even more poetic. Vdk how his arc will end because in the book it feels like it's written in bullet points and it mostly concentrates on Daemon's POV. I hope v get to see his side.
I agree. there's a lot of wrongs but a lot of people seem to miss them. the dragon chose him. the girl was wrong to throw fist at him. that started the fight let's get that straight. he was also wrong for escalating it and hitting the girl back(that was funny though). he should have understood that they were just grieving. 4v1 was just wrong and it looked like they were gonna kill him and over what? he grabbed a rock to defend himself it was 4v1, anyone would grab anything to defend themselves in that situation. that kid pulling the knife was wrong, further escalation. but damn aemond's actually that strong. 4v1 and he was winning the fist fight until the knife was drawn. and he's not wrong, they are bastards.
He didn’t initiate the fight. They started it and they escalated it. Like they literally pulled a knife because they couldn’t handle the truth about their daddy. But I agree he has a good understanding about the matters and the political climate and I really like him. Also the actor did a wonderful job portraying him
@@kumubandara3984 you know after rewatching the scene I think you're right that he didn't technically start the fight. He definitely said some heartless nasty shit to them before they attacked and I can't judge the other kids too much for not having great self control when he starts talking about their mom. I think this is one of those situations where none of them are truly "at fault" or "blameless". It's just a mess. Both parties carry the blame together, ya know? It's a shame because I'd love to see Aemond's talents go toward something constructive and positive, but unfortunately because of his upbringing, that's all been weaponized by his family.
@@Paradox-dy3ve Yh I agree. The upbringing applies to both sides of the family too, like in a vacuum the kids would be kids and be normal cousins and obviously have they deviant acts and tendencies but they wouldn’t have the entitlement (from Rhaneyras side) or the self righteousness (from Aliscents side) furthering the disagreements. But I have high hopes for Aemond’s character even if he won’t be morally correct all the time should make for an interesting Segway advancing the storyline.
Remember last episode when Alicent's daughter said her brother would have to lose an eye to gain a dragon... no one even bats an eye at her because she loves to play with insects. I love her little soul. She knows shit and people should listen!
you know the show has twisted you when you start cheering for 4 kids to beat up 1 kid for being the bravest little bullied boy in the realm and speaking the truth
Too many people have this opinion of aemond. Absolutely disgusting that people are hating on aemond at all at this point in the story
@@lazarzivkovic3393 Did you miss the part where Aemond escalated that fight and tried to straight up kill the others with a rock? He deserved the whooping.
@@saltherisms he grabbed the rock after all four jumped on top of him and started wailing on him. He also never used the rock even though he held luke up by the throat and had every chance to hit him with it, it was jace who had no restraint when he pulled out his knife and tried to kill aemond, like literally aemond had the rock in his hands and had a solid 20 seconds where he could have used it but didn’t. And also no they aren’t justified for beating him up just cuz he was talking shit, the only shit he was talking was to go ride a pig which is exactly what Luke jace and Aegon forced upon him, by your own logic aemond had every right to attack and try and stab all three of them and yet he didn’t…at all. @@lazarzivkovic3393 ok greens stan, ease up on the essays here. I don't care. He escalated the violence and he paid for it, but he's fine with the price since he got fucking Vhagar out of it.

They are not entitled to claim dragons. Let's be clear on that.
Vhagar's reaction was pretty spot on, tbh.

People immediately disliked Aegon and Aemond just for wearing green
07:15 Kind of and not. The books that this series is based on aren't written like a regular book, they are written as if they were actual texts from Westeros by a Maester. So when they write something its based on what they know, and what they believe, and their biases bleed through pretty heavily. Jacaerys, Lucerys and Joffrey look the same in the books and show, dark haired and dark eyed. But the authors of the texts have no way of actually knowing that they aren't Rhaenyra's, because they weren't privy to the facts, whereas the show gives us more awareness of things that they wouldn't know.
So far the series has only changed one event outright, that Daemon killed his wife. In the book he couldn't have had anything to do with it because in the book Rhea did fall from her horse but there were witnesses to it, and she lingered in a coma for a week before waking up one day, saying she felt fine, and dropping dead later in the day. Daemon wasn't there and had nothing to do with it. Apart from that though the series has been very faithful.
The ending of this episode has also significantly changed the original storyline. In the book, Laenor is killed by Qarl Correy. Daemon is rumoured to have commanded Qarl to do this so he could marry Rhaenaya (and then has Qarl murdered to cover his tracks).
The series is trying to make Daemon and Rhaenyra more sympathetic to the audience, when in reality both sides of this family feud are as bad as each other.
@@Rocket1377 I mean they really aren't trying to make them more sympathetic. I mean Daemon has been made to do more morally "bad" choices in the show than in the book so far. So as the book was definitely bias to the Blacks side and GRRM has stated as well that he maybe favored the Blacks a bit too much. But the show has made things more gray. Like Daemon didn't kill his wife in the book and he also had a closer relationship with Laena and loved both of his daughters while in the show he has been shown to ignore them a lot and Rhaena even said that Daemon ignores her.
_”Come at me again and I’ll feed you to my dragon!”_
Aemond is honestly such a mood this episode. 😂
He’s what everyone would be like if they suddenly became the owner of the biggest dragon in the world, especially if they’d been bullied all their lives.
He might not be able to see us out of his eye anymore, but he also can’t hear us flying above the clouds on his dragon. 🤣

@Mister Fortune He picked a rock after getting jumped by four people and then he lowered it down after he noticed that they're not attacking anymore. He only used it again after the strong boy was literally trying to slash him with a knife. But I'm sure you didn't see that because you have your Rhaenyra blinders on.
Rhaneyra doesn't deserve to be on the throne after birthing bastards and trying to get them to sit on the iron throne, she's still the heir because her father is a weak/blind individual to not strip her of the right to be the heir, his weakness in this moment is what will lead to the civil war that is apparently on the horizon.

Aemond did absolutely nothing wrong. He had every right to try claim Vhaegar and he had enough courage to do so. Laena's daughter is at fault for not doing that sooner, as Vhaegar was not in any way "hers". Dragons themselves choose their own riders. Aemond was confronted and attacked by 4 others, they decided to pick a fight with him. Aemond was clearly a defending party. And the thing he said about having "a pig to ride" was a remark about Luke, Jace and Aegon bullying Aemond for years for not having his own dragon. Aemond finally managed to claim one, the biggest one of all at that, and immediately after other kids want to take it away from him and accuse him of stealing Vhaegar. And he picked a rock only after he was on the ground and attacked by multiple people. Aemond did absolutely nothing wrong and Rhaenyra's and Demon's children deserved it.
Everyone championing Aemond using our modern sensibilities is cringe. As if those kids grew up being taught never to hit another kid. Aemond earned Vhagar, then got drunk on his new found power, insulted the girls (using the pig analogy the boys used against him), during the day of the funeral.
No one here would have acted otherwise (within Westeros) if someone came to your house, callously threw the death of your mother in your face right after her funeral. The girl charged him, but he threw her down. Then her sister intervened and clocked him, then he clocked her back. Then the boys went in to defend the girls. Treasonous insults were thrown.
He started it, the girls escalated, then the boys, then a rock was picked up, then a knife. It’s all an escalation.
I find it funny how people claim Baela throwing the punch was what started the fight. Yes, in our modern world, in high school, that would be the case. But not Westeros, where honour and disrespect is a reason people literally dual to the death.
Maybe don’t bring your modern lens into a medieval fantasy setting?
Lol the problem isn't exactly because Daemon and Rhaenyra's kids attacked him. The problem is that most reactors think that Aemond is a piece of shit for defending himself and retaliating.

When they say it’s obvious that the prince’s aren’t Laenor’s it isn’t so in the books, as you said. Though social media likes to say people are being racist when they say the Laenor shouldn’t be a POC, neither should his father. Their family is supposed to have valyrian features. That’s purple eyes, blue in the show, pale skin and the white/silver hair. Laenor’s mother has black hair in the books. Rhaenyra’s mother has Arryn blood, typically dark haired. So, their children having dark hair isn’t a reason to dismiss them. It’s the fact that their white as shit and not one is dark skinned. especially when compared to Daemon’s…
Nah it’s pretty obvious in the books as well, no one believes those are Leanor’s kids

No guarantee that Vhagar would have accepted the daughter simply because of who her mother was the verbal exchange was between cousins and the girls were the first to make physical contact with Aemon and it was 4 against 1.
So why was Aemon the bad person in this argument?
I love how you say, "Do it." 😂😂
Laenor was in on the plot. It’s a win win for everyone. Rhaenyra gets to marry Daemon and Laenor gets to live his life overseas with his gay lover away from everything.
“Win win for everyone”
Except the innocent Velaryon servant they murdered for the plan, and his family lol.
@@Longshanks1690 how do you know he has a family? Seems better not to assume he does or doesn't. We have no information about that.
@@antonioscafuri756 getting Viserys to open his eyes and fire the hand, Otto, was smart too even though now he is back. But 10 years of Otto manipulating Alicent even more would only have made Alicent more paranoid.
@@Longshanks1690 And Rhaenyras children, for all they know their father got murdered.
Can I share your video as a reaction video on my channel? ☺
I dont think Rhaenyra and Daemon wanted to kill Laenor, they were behind the fake death plot. Daemon tells Qarl (the BF) that the death needs witnesses and Daemon is the one who kills the random servant!
Regarding backing a side, im also Team Rhaenyra but also remember the words of Princess Shireen Baratheon on the dance of the dragons "it was the choosing that made it so terrible"
One of the most dissapointing reactions😓. Aemond was clearly a victim and 100% deserved Vhagar
Such a bias take. They all were to blame for escalating the situation. Stanning one side 100% is cringe.
No he wasn't a victim, he insulted the girls first the day their mother died.
A great episode probably the best episode so far I was so happy when aemond was riding vhagar and seeing him loses an eye from great foreshadowing from hela targaryen "his eye will shut close" from last episode was very satisfying.
Can't wait to see aemond be a badass next episode from seeing the preview.
This episode will the end of the year of the red spring 120 ac
The person in the fire was dressed in Laenor's clothes, thrown into the fire to make identification dependent on his garb. This is why someone needed to witness the fight begin. It was the guard killed on the stairs who was in the fire. No one will suspect the guard is the corpse, because he's dressed as Laenor and unrecognizable from the flames. A guard goes missing, when the lover of Laenor kills Laenor? They ran away together after Laenor's death. At best, the search is for Laenor's lover and the guard. No one is looking for Laenor.
The only good thing Allicent's lapdog has done is NOT go after the kid's eye. Even he was like, "Uh, no. I'm a bodyguard, not a child maimer!"
Princess Rhaenys hair is supposed to black but turned white with age. Her mother was a Baratheon and we know how strong that blood line is so it wouldn't be a big surprise that some of the children had dark hair.
I mean the kids are pretty Strong too
Damn Rhaenyra that was a dick move, she probably traumatised her own children now that they believe their father got brutally murdered. And marrying Daemon does not strengthen her position at all. She just traded a dragonrider for another dragonrider, and potentially screwed over her alliance with the Velaryons when she married Deamon right after Laenors “death”.
Btw will Seasmoke just follow Laenor around in Essos now?😂
I love how this episode was shot, so dark and beautiful..
THE BIG QUESTION, WHY DID YOU GUYS AGREE TO CALL DAMON A THIEF WHEN HE STOLE THE EGG, BUT NOT AEMMOND.
because and egg cannot choose its rider
Vhagar is the second biggest dragon.
The biggest dragon was Balerion, Aegon's (the conqueror) dragon
People are so biased against Alicent’s kids just because they’re Alicent’s.
Ypu had hoped Aemond died? The bravest little dude in Westeros?
That would be Daemon
I touched on it in my comment to the previous commentary, but it was clear to me that a lot of Alicent's motivation has been about how she's been forced to follow the "rules" while Rhaenyra has been "free" to do as she pleases, which is kinda shown off in their first scene. Especially with the framing, and the fact that Aemond's a dick, it's hard justify her actions even if they are understandable to an extent.
I still sympathize with her and overall I still think she's a victim of circumstance, as most everyone is. I mostly blame Otto. But even then. I hate Otto but I can't deny that there was often a certain truth to his words throughout the season. Yes, people will call on Aemon to rule in place of Rhaenyra and yes there will be pressure on Rhaenyra to eliminate other lines of succession whether she wants to or not. On the other hand the only reason Alicent even has to think about this is because Otto all but forced her onto the king.
That said, I'm not picking sides. In the end I fear this will just be a tragedy on all sides and it all could have been avoided if not for Otto
aegon. aegon not aemond
@@dominicijavier1575 No, I mean Aemond. Sure he was bullied before and still is, but what he did is still a dick move
You know this is the first time I saw a youtuber do some cool trick like put future herself to fix explanation of a film. Kudos Alice.
13:41 Who calls Rhaenyra's children bastards and Alicent, Aemond looks at her but won't say it was his mother because he likes his mother, Aemond doesn't like his brother Aegon so he says it was Aegon who keeps calling Rhaenyra's children of bastards but it is actually Alicent who focuses on saying that Rhaenyra's children are bastards, Alicent is very lucky that she is dead as she attacked the heir to the throne more like viserys and a weakling so nothing happened to Alicent
This episode was wonderful, the only problem is that the beach scene is very dark, they didn't learn from Game of Thrones, Daemon laughed because corlys' brother was talking bad about Rhaenyra's children look at Rhaenyra's reaction how uncomfortable she is in scene
Daemon and Rhaenyra's wedding scene was so beautiful During the wedding ceremony, Daemon and Rhaenyra drew two Valyrian glyphs on each other's foreheads, meaning "Fire" and "Blood" - the words of House Targaryen 🔥
Viserys said in episode 4 that they are both dragons and restless, Rhaenyra always loved Daemon as Daemon always loved Rhaenyra, this is what is said in the book and also and only in the first episode did we realize the connection between the two, as actors Emma and Matt said that Daemon and Rhaenyra were made to burn together is that they love each other Yes they are marrying for love they both love each other they always have
We customs of the Velaryon Family when a person dies they throw the body in the water it is their family custom, In the Targaryen Family when a person dies in the family they burn the body it is their custom too, each family has their custom
*AEGON* *II:* *A* *Comedic* *F-Up*
The more I watch all the Aegon II scenes, the more I'm LMAO! 🤣 Watch Alicent slap Aegon hard at the face and he's like, "What's that for?” Then Aemond blames him when it's really his mother who started those bastard rumors.
It's like Aegon is Johnny Lawrence when Johnny was around the same age. He's all about chasing hot babes and getting drunk. Almost every scene Aegon is in seems hilarious whether it's unintentional or not. Like what did Aegon do this time so Alicent can start hitting and yelling at him?
Alicent should be charged with child abuse. You don't see Rhaenyra laying hands on her children while Alicent is a deranged mother looking like she wants to strangle all her children.
Aegon's greatest hits after two episodes...
- He pranked Aemond and then lied.
- He masturbates from a window.
- He calls his brother a tw@t.
- He feels indifferent about the throne.
- He mocks his sister for being so weird.
- He's into creatures with long legs.
- He gets completely wasted in a funeral.
- He gets yelled at by his grandpa.
- He gets yelled at by his parents.
- He gets slapped in the face by his mom.
- He gets blamed by his brother.
Aegon is not harming anybody but is a total f-up. He either gets blamed, yelled at, or slapped around. I'm starting to like him! 😁 Can you believe he is just second of the same name from Aegon the Conqueror? He's the typical horny teenager. Even his parents seem to know he's already an f-up from all the screaming towards his face!
I know people be hating on Rhaenyra on some of her irresponsible crap she's done. But has Aegon showed any good qualities being a king? Hell no. He's the guy who gets high on cocaine and Ecstasy. Only thinks about getting laid. Jerks off to Pornhub at least 3 times per day. So basically like most males in their teens and 20s.
He reminds me of myself and a bunch of other people I know. 🤣 A walking meme waiting to happen. I'm starting to love Aegon. Keep watching every little scene with him. He's quite a character. An on-screen gag. Rhaenyra's so-called challenge for the throne when he seems more mentally challenged like his siblings. And yet, the less destructive between him and the two insecure women who were former besties.
*Aegon* *the* *Fapper* is NOT trying to kill anybody. He doesn't mind if his half older sis will have the throne. He seems to get along with Jace and Luke. He just wants to masturbate and get drunk. Let him, Alicent. Stop pushing your son to something he doesn't want. He's basically Jason Biggs from American Pie. He's no different than Tyrion. Brothels and wine. Harmless recreational activities. Nobody dies. Nobody gets raped.
Aegon is just a squirrel 🐿️ trying to catch a nut.
Aegon the Fapper not trying to kill anyone? But he's sent so many of his own knuckle spawn to their deaths from the comfort of his own room 🤣
DO NOT ANSWER THE BOG CALL I BEG OF YOU ! DO NOT TAKE THE BOG PILL !!!
He called?
Just before the scene where qarl attacked laenor, daemon snapped the neck of a guy on the stairs randomly, i assume this is the body double they used. Its definately a interesting twist, in the book laenor actually does die. But this is a happier ending than most gays get in this show so happy for him in that way at least.
Still doesn't make it right though does it? What of that guy's family? Did some innocent bystander with perhaps a wife and kids to support have to be murdered, just to Captain never at home, could go off gallivanting about on his rainbow adventures?

The boys are all spitting images of Strongs.

But never explicitly said in the text, as for sure confirmed.
Thats the difference to the show
More danced around in the book, though not really any doubt.
the body used to fake Laenor's death was the servant who's neck was snapped by Daemon
And claiming a dragon is only really difficult or impossible really when the dragon doesnt like you.
Of course still quite the endavour and requires bravery to try to claim the worlds largest dragon all the same.
Definitely earned himself the right to feel ontop of the world for sure
Vhagar infact CHOSE Aemond, very nice to see them find eachother.
Will be happy together no doubt
She judged him well, Dragons are quite intelligent
Aemond is a child. And until now, all of the other children bullied him - even his own big brother. It makes sense why he chose the biggest, oldest, and most famous dragon for himself. I was happy for him before the fight broke out. This was his triumph, his moment. I can understand wanting to turn the tables on the Strong boys, but he did take standing up for himself too far. He should not have provoked them.
And I know that you don't sympathise with Alicent or Otto.
But Aemond is a child.
13:12 Really?
Team Black: Alicent is dead to me.
Alyska, I am bad with all the dragon names too as there are a lot of them now & through history. We will all probably get more versed with the current dragons as they’ll be involved in the tragic Dance of the Dragons but there are 2 dragons names you should have down & never confuse with anyone: Balarion “the Black Dread” was Aegon the Conqueror’s dragon & Drogon was Danaerys main dragon which served to be her version of a dreaded dragon in the GoT era😇
Man, Larys makes Littlefinger’s backstabbing & snakey manipulations seem like preschool compared to his subterfuge, machinations and just all of his scummy dealings.
Sorry but how sick you must be to say "Do it" regarding Vhagar trying to burn Aemond, a children?
Dragons cannot be stolen. They can only be claimed.
Im 100% with Aemond on this he gets jumped by 3 people. Also already been said but dragons choose their rider as how the hell would someone so small be able to boss around someone 100x there size. Some common sense must be inprder
Just found your channel thanks to the house of the dragon reaction, but looking through your channel I’m gonna definitely stick around
It’s a rumor in the books because the actors and house velaryon look Targaryen being from Valyria but in the show they’re black.
The day for night shooting aint fooling nobody, the photography on this episoe was horrendous, but, all is forgiven after watching kids punching the S out of each other. Best 3 minutes of TV history.
Both are equally bad but they want us to root fr Blacks it seems
.anywho

If I could do it again, I wouldn't read the book. I'd rather go along for the ride.
The next upcoming episode will be the final time jump in this show
It the GoT trap. Favorite characters staring down a death sentence.
ahh the old double standard during the aemond fight
In the book Laenor dies but here he lives,, i am glad not everything is by the book,, sometimes we just need that feel good factor
I heard that in the books there is a 6months span between the Laenor's fake death and Raenyra/Daemon's marriage.
Show seems to be against putting words on the screen that say "6 months later" so for people it seems like it was immediately afterwards.
@@kevindepuy5390 Yeah there was too many timeskips in this season it's confusing, especially when done mid episode like that

aemond is clearly in the wrong here and to be clear he did steal the OPPORTUNITY (not the dragon itself) from rhaena. that little green goblin did it at her mother's funeral so ofc the other kids feel wronged by his actions. they really said fuck around and find out! anyways i love your hotd reactions and share all the same opinions as you. TEAM BLACK FOREVER!!
That “where is duty, where is sacrifice” scene…Olivia Cooke doing some Dinklage level lifting there. The agony, the passion! That’s a Emmy nomination scene. “We Know Father. Everyone Knows”. That’s Aegon’s “the Prince will remember that little Lord” moment. Aemond taming Vhagar & holding his own in a 1v4 makes him the real chad in my eyes. Only wholesome moment, our Prince resting his head on his mom’s shoulder to let her know she can depend on him. Last but not least, GOATTO Hightower says “in time you and I together will prevail” and I’m the meme of Homer Simpson decked out in a green tee, sitting on green cushions, wearing a Hightower snapback, holding a Go Greens flag with a Alicent poster on the wall😂. Meanwhile checking in on Blacks: “What is honor compared to a woman’s uncle” - Maester Aemon 😳
I think Otto is a great and an interesting character oh well. He's like the politics and a diplomatic master. Daemon seems petty all the time against him because he didn't get to be Viserys's hand.
