    i was looking at the world record one and i then designed a few of my own with how the air flowed and the valve control, this is very cool

    Now add a generator and use that to power the vacuum cleaner :)

      More like add a generator and run it using this engine, bonus points if the vaccuum cleaner is a handheld one that uses a rechargeable battery.

    Now all that needs to be done (aside from balancing speed and torque) is to find and install a smaller, battery-powered vacuum so that the turbine can actually move a complete vehicle. :)

    The one thing about vacuum engines is that they are mostly just fast but have low torque that’s why I like this video

  • @David_Mash
    @David_Mash 9 місяців тому +8

    The power comes from the source. Just need a stronger vacuum.

    • @Bricks.Master.Builders
      @Bricks.Master.Builders  9 місяців тому +3

      It's not just the source which is the vacuum cleaner power. The tunnel system, air flow optimisation, blades and gearing system play a huge role to maximise the power and torque produced from this design

    • @David_Mash
      @David_Mash 9 місяців тому +1

      @Bricks.Master.Builders gearing can be applied after to any design, but the community records are based on rpm. I think it's silly because a shorter hose or stronger vacuum source could greatly increase rpms of any of the designs claiming a record.

      Indeed, this is like saying I’ve created the strongest bicycle ever because I geared it down and act like the whole bicycle is my own design.

      While I do understand your complaint, you also did lie a lot in your video. This guy did aswell, but a bit less. However, both of your channels would be a lot more lovable if you guys just didn’t focus so much on getting views and attention by both clickbaiting and actively lying about your creation in your video. Do better.

      Lucas didn’t lie in his video neither me. Without a proper design and gearing down . This engine will not be able to turn anything with. Even a very small load

    If you are looking for torque you need a vacuum engine with a piston. Those engines will make a lot more torque and you wouldn’t have to gear down the engine as much to get more torque. Cool video and I love the smooth flow design!

    What if you put tape around the legos so no air can get out or perhaps glue but you can’t take it apart that way also if you put tape on the inside it would make airflow smooth

  • @xmysef4920
    @xmysef4920 9 місяців тому +2

    Cool video, but I really don’t know what the ”wind tunnel effect” is or has to do with any of this, you also said ”4 bladed turbine for maximum efficiency” I would bet that scientifically, it isn’t the best efficiency. The best efficiency usually for blade number depends heavily, but it’s usually never 4. It’s usually either 3 or above 5. Also, what do you mean by ”high torque” if you literally just exhanged speed for torque? That’s not the turbine having high torque, that’s just you gearing it down.
    However, while you were right with using smoother parts to reduce turbulence, there’s literally no use of having a much longer section after your turbine that goes to your vacuum. I think what you mean is that you’re trying to use some sort of ”venturi effect” to draw in more air, but in this case it’s not so much about air volume or amount of air, but rather air volume AND pressure.
    Please cut down on the clickbait and do more research on what you say or do before just saying anything out loud to your quite big audience. Then your channel would be a lot more lovable.

    • @Bricks.Master.Builders
      @Bricks.Master.Builders  9 місяців тому +1

      My channel is not a scientific channel .. it’s for entertainment and tutorials. If you want to study aerodynamics and mechanics.. get a book because youtube is not the right place for that 😊
