The Flat engine shown in this video is not just Flat engine, but a type called V-Flat. It has been used once in Ferrari in the past, but there are no other instances of its use.
It is interesting, that the sound of those little passive engines are similar to the the real ones… Although not aktive driving, many parts less, different materials etc.
Flats and boxers aren’t the same. This is a flat. On boxers, opposing pistons will go « down » at the same time because the crankshaft is different, whereas a flat is just like a V engine with a 180 degree angle.
You may be thinking of Rotary engines. They have odd cylinder numbering, 3,5,7,9. Or you need to clarify single-row Radial. (Also, Rotary, not to be confused with a Wankel or Radial. Three very different engines)
To clarify, single row Radial engines are typically odd numbered, but not multi-row. As well as Rotary engines. Rotary wngines have odd cylinder numbering, 3,5,7,9. (Also, Rotary, not to be confused with a Wankel or Radial. Three very different engines)
@@JWar949 I know of the Wankel engine. It has a single, triangle-shaped rotor that acts as a piston. I believe it was used in some Mazda cars back in the day. It's still used to this day.
Would you like to see more Lego engines? Any suggestions?
Butterfly engine
Opposed piston, Napier deltic
Where can I buy the bricks for that ???
@@EdgarPlanesYT From Lego
@@EdgarPlanesYT Or you can 3D print
The way you built the inline 6, if it was a real engine it would shake itself to pieces.
Agree. But I didn’t find another way to build a Lego engine using Lego 2-throw cranks, they are 180 degrees.
@@TechnicBrick right. A small inline 6 out of Lego is going to be unbalanced no matter what.
If only Lego would produce some 120 degree crank parts.
@@Dr904 3D printing 😀
yea the way he built it gave me nightmares
Oh man I was watching this to learn how to rebuild my 12 valve Cummins
The sound of the radial is perfect.
That radial engine is a work of art!
Yes Id like to see more of your videos
I think there's something wrong with the inline engine 💀
Hi
The Flat engine shown in this video is not just Flat engine, but a type called V-Flat.
It has been used once in Ferrari in the past, but there are no other instances of its use.
I love how all the lego engines sound similar to the actual engines irl
every video of yours is a must-watch for me!
It is interesting, that the sound of those little passive engines are similar to the the real ones…
Although not aktive driving, many parts less, different materials etc.
Idea: Lego boat that moves by pumping up water and then spraying it backwards in order to move
A pump jet engine but with water
The 24 cylinder Radial engine sounds so real
The radial engine actually sounds like an aero engine!
i agree that sounded great
very good video! you really need a slow motion camera for RPM test lol.
Комментарий в поддержку канала и ролика.
How do you control the RPM? I see eletric equipment in the background? Do you increase the current to your lego engine?
can you try to build a rotary engine like the one thats used in the mazda Rx7 FD?
How do you make a variable rpm? With a lego engine with batteries?
UA-cam: you’re fired
Bugatti and Cessna: you’re hired
Awesome Video🙂
Glad you liked it!
Hint: V6 Engines are mostly used for SUV Cars.
How yall get them peices i wanna build stuff like that😭😭😭
It is possible it is just very big and it only normally runs for like 10 seconds but you could make a steam engine with pneumatic Lego pistons
Pov: when you dont have fan but you have lego
I have to wonder what could possibly use a x12 or w16 engine, and by god the amount of power they must produce.
Well there’s the Bugatti Chiron with the w16 engine
plane maybe
Yea but not like this.@@EvanPang-w4i
X12 used in tanks
Boats or locomotive engines
Why not do an rpm test with the V6 or I6?
cool
In germany we call this a Boxermotor 2:15
Though radial 24 was hypothetical engine
That W16 engine should have been in set 42083. Lego take notice. Or hire this guy.
Both the V6 and inline 6 have 120-degree cranks.
Some of these engines seem like a nightmare to work on irl
I built my flat-6 completely differently because I didn’t have all those pieces. I made 2 inline-3 engines and connected them
The flat is properly called a boxer engine, btw cool video

Oh okay,now i know
@@Sauci55onthe fact i also thought the same . Thanks for the info
where did you buy them?
Does anybody know where the get the parts from?
I thought it was air powered but got depressed when i found out that it wasnt. I like steam/stirling engines
May I ask why the engines don't have a head or valves?
It's not easy to build that with lego.
@@se-os6xt ah
Can I buy the 5 engine
that w engine is actually a vr engine
radila engines always need to have odd amount of cylinders btw u cant build a 6 or 12 cyl radial
Brownback Tiger, Curtiss Challenger, A.B.C, Buchet engine, ect.
You may be thinking of Rotary engines. They have odd cylinder numbering, 3,5,7,9. Or you need to clarify single-row Radial. (Also, Rotary, not to be confused with a Wankel or Radial. Three very different engines)
@@JWar949isn't wankel a type of rotary or the actual name of rotary engines?
Technically that's a VR6, not a v6
Technically you should shut up
It spinned so fast, i thought my vid was lagging💀
Yes
Radial engine was a plane engine
Radial engines always have a uneven amount of cylinder banks
Usually 5 or 7 pistons, in rare cases, even 9.
To clarify, single row Radial engines are typically odd numbered, but not multi-row. As well as Rotary engines. Rotary wngines have odd cylinder numbering, 3,5,7,9. (Also, Rotary, not to be confused with a Wankel or Radial. Three very different engines)

the w16 doesnt look like a w lol
What's the point of an RPM test when you're backdriving the engine?
Testing the structural thresholds of the engine, because he used gears to accelerate the rpm. So more for seeing how much the engine can withstand.
And I have built a 2 Lego v8 engines
The inline 6 looks goofy
Where did you buy it? Tell me pls.
Pasted

V16-hel kat
Oh ha ha ha ha
That online 6 design wouldn't work in real life. The engine would probably break
Знаешь у меня такой же был конструктор лего я его ели ели этот двигательсобрал
ピストンがヌッコヌッコしてるだけのものをエンジンと呼ぶのもなんだかなぁ。
