25cm x 29cm x 2.5cm baking pan
Cream Cheese Frosting:
150g cream cheese ( room temperature)
4 & 1/2 tbsp granulated sugar
300ml heavy cream ( 40~47 fat content)
1 tsp vanilla extract / vanilla essence
Ube Cake:
7 tbsp cake flour
7 egg yolks
2 tbsp granulated sugar
60ml /4 tbsp vegetable oil / canola oil
70g ube halaya / ube jam
1 tbsp ube flavoring
purple food color (optional)
Meringue:
7 egg whites
8 tbsp granulated sugar
1 tsp lemon juice
200℃ (electric oven) / 180℃ (gas oven) Bake for 12 minutes

Hi, is there really no baking powder or baking soda? Also the recipe on the description box does not have cake flour.
What kind of heavy cream did you use? No heavy cream in the Philippines.
Heavy cream or fresh cream with high fat content (47% fat content). I think there is heavy cream in the Philippines .Thank you.

What is ube flavoring, seems food color only which is definitely unhealthy ?
It is Ube extract...not quite sure how healthy it is but definitely not food coloring. Ube is a bright purple yam which is where the colour comes from.
