Really great timelapses you get out of London! My favorits are the moonrise timelapse and the hyperlapse on tower bridge. I can imagine how stressful the hyperlapse was. 😮💨

Looks amazing, really like the HDR. I have a question though, how did you make it HDR? I know the DR of a camera is too limited for true HDR, and bracketing for timelapses is a royal headache. How did you make it HDR? :)
Eheh Thank you! The HDR is not like the ‘old HDR’ when you had to shoot 3 pics with different exposure and blend them together. What I did was to export the timelapse in Rec.2021 PQ color space, which enables the full dynamic range of camera. SDR or regular TVs are in Rec.709. Hope that make sense.. this tech it’s still a bit blurry to me as well! 😬
I use DaVinci Resolve to export it in HDR
@@MattiaBicchi I understood all you said ;). I have tried to create a timelapse in hdr with 3 photo bracketing, but it is almost impossible for me. Anyways, whatever the technical specs and principles, it really looks great :)
Eheh yes, making HDR video using bracketing is a lot time/energy consuming.. and nowadays I don’t think is even worth it as the DR of new cameras are very good.
@@MattiaBicchi do you have a HDR monitor? Or did you just grade as if rec709 and then export in HDR? Or did you grade HDR on a rec709 monitor and just used the scopes?

Sweet! That moon shot is insane. And that hyperlapse shot of the Tower bridge is really smooth, even in the foreground; there's no movement in the bridge at all from traffic etc that could introduce camera-shake in long-exposure shots?
Thank you so much! The bridge doesn’t actually move much, so even at long exposure you won’t see any camera-shake. 😊
Wow this was STUNNING 🤩 realy enjoy watching it 😁 only downside is that i also want to do HDR timelapse now but i guess my camera dont have enough DR and i use adobe crash software 🤣 Anyway, well Done Mattia 👌
Thank you Tobias! As long as you shoot Raw you should be able to render the timelapse in HDR. I use Davinci resolve to edit this one. 😊
@@MattiaBicchi Ah ok I always shoot raw and edit with LRtimelapse and Lightroom and then use after effects and premiere pro. I guess Adobe should have some similair HDR export as Davinci. Gonna give it a try. Thanks for ur reply 🙏
No worries! 😊 you need to use the Rec.2021 PQ color space instead of Rec.709.

Unfortunately didn’t have enough time for longer Shutter Speed, I shot everything in 5 days and was trying to get as mucha as possible, as fast as possible. Maybe next time.
