John David Washington is the new Protagonist in Christopher Nolan’s original sci-fi action spectacle “Tenet.”
Armed with only one word-Tenet-and fighting for the survival of the entire world, the Protagonist journeys through a twilight world of international espionage on a mission that will unfold in something beyond real time.
Not time travel. Inversion.
The international cast of “Tenet” also includes Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, Martin Donovan, Fiona Dourif, Yuri Kolokolnikov, Himesh Patel, Clémence Poésy, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, with Michael Caine and Kenneth Branagh.
Nolan wrote and directed the film, utilizing a mixture of IMAX® and 70mm film to bring the story to the screen. “Tenet” is produced by Emma Thomas and Nolan. Thomas Hayslip served as executive producer.
Nolan’s behind-the-scenes creative team included director of photography Hoyte van Hoytema, production designer Nathan Crowley, editor Jennifer Lame, costume designer Jeffrey Kurland, visual effects supervisor Andrew Jackson, and special effects supervisor Scott Fisher. The score is composed by Ludwig Göransson.
“Tenet” was filmed on location across seven countries.

In case you didn't know it, Christopher Nolan legit bought an entire Boeing 747 for this movie just to crashed it on camera. Yea that's real plane not CGI

Ashwas Reddy I can see some will be disappointed like my dad. But i found it fun. Great performance by John D. Washington. Supporting cast were also great. Sound design was quite distracting. My dad said the background score was louder than the dialogue. Btw my dad loved inception and TDK, didn’t like interstellar. so if you have the same taste as him you’ll probably find it disappointing.
I only give it six out of Ten-et. The inversion was jarring rather than transfixing. The audio dialogue is indecipherable in parts due to weird sound mixing. The set pieces don't really wow. I like Nolan's work but this feels derivative.
I’m telling you all now. This has to be seen in IMAX. I saw a Snippet when going to see Star Wars in IMAX and the Sound, soundtrack,Atmosphere sticks with me to this day. Can’t wait to watch this movie

I've seen this movie in both 35mm and IMAX Laser and the big sound and picture in IMAX is at least 4 times better. Also, I didn't get half the movie first time I saw it so naturally, it was better the second time also..

Christopher Nolan the best English director
I have watched the DK version of this trailer and i like it more. This song didn't do much for me and was distracting from the trailer. The sound in DK (and one other, which is also no US, so maybe they only put that track in International trailers) is much more eerie and Nolan.
Yeah, the international trailer is just music and it fit the trailer ... but Travis Scott gives it a pop feel .. like a video ... operatic .. miss Hans Zimmer, though ... its still epic either way , but i get it.

This movie opened in 70 countries on aug 27. I think it was on purpose to leave the american opening for sep 03 so that americans get to be overhyped reading comments and reviews from the rest of the world and thus guaranteeing a successful box office. I saw it here in Australia. Complete mind meltdown tho.
