- Tenet is an upcoming 2020 spy film written and directed by Christopher Nolan, who produced it with Emma Thomas. A co-production between the United Kingdom and United States, it stars John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, Michael Caine, and Kenneth Branagh.
Nolan took more than five years to write the screenplay after deliberating about Tenet's central ideas for over a decade. Casting began in March 2019, and principal photography took place in Denmark, Estonia, India, Italy, Norway, the United Kingdom, and United States, starting in May 2019. Cinematographer Hoyte van Hoytema shot on 70 mm and IMAX.
Delayed three times due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Tenet is scheduled to be released by Warner Bros. Pictures in the United Kingdom on August 26, 2020, and United States on September 3, 2020, in IMAX, 35 mm, and 70 mm. The film received generally positive reviews from critics, with some favorably comparing it to Nolan's Inception and praising the cast's performances, though some lamented the confusing plot.

Just watched this (in Australia) and loved it! The cinematography and soundtrack are amazing. Mindbending and an absolute rollercoaster! Tbh it's not my favourite Nolan film but it hit the spot after so many months without being able to go to the cinemas. I hope you guys enjoy as much as I did! Will probably re-watch it with a friend too.

I’ve seen the film. It’s amazing, confusing too but not as confusing as we all thought if you’re paying attention.
They had to film scenes where the actors acted and spoke backwards while other did so forwards. Crazy!
Even an inverted person is traveling forward in time, but RELATIVE to us it appears backwards.
Why does Chris Nolan make his leading men look and dress like him? Is it some kind of prerequisite! Lol

JDW and R Pats have both been talking about how they had to learn their lines and act in reverse for real, in as many scenes as they could physically do without post production aid. I can't wait for this

This is the first trailer of this I have seen, actually first time i've heard of this.
