Who's he? Oh just a superstar, 2-time NBA MVP, 2-time champion, single-season leader in 3-pointers (402 in 2016) and also holds the record for 3-pointers in a game (13). That's who Curry is. Who's laughing now, Westbrook?
John Wall is 2nd in steals, 2nd in Assists, & averages 22 and 11, but when point guards are brought up his name never gets mentioned. Half of these other pgs are only good for scoring.

Idk why everybody says curry is better because he has a ring and Russ doesnt. Im sure if Wade and Bosh were injured in 2012 Russ would have a ring right now too ;)
Marco Acuna Andrew Bogut seriously?? Lmao he only played like 15 minutes a night. And last time I recalled Draymond and Iggy played in games 6 and 7 and what happened??? Golden State still lost. Kyrie played in game 1 of the 2015 NBA Finals and that was it. LeBron took Golden State to 6 games by himself.
It's not just because of the ring. Curry is more efficient, a more willing passer, clearly the better leader and personality that guys want to be around. Also his style of play and intangibles resulted in 67 and 73 win seasons + a championship + helped recruit KD. You tell me what Russell Westbrook's style of play and intangibles has amounted to thus far other than complete collapses in the Finals or WCF, and giving one of the leagues best players reason to leave?
People be like oh lebron makes players better , u dont think curry makes klay and draymond better look at the season kd is having efficiency wise curry makes players better westbrook doesnt
treyvone scott Curry does not elevate his teammates like Lebron do. GS strives in team basketball populated by good passers and great shooters. The system made these players look good not Steph. Cleveland on the other hand, has the best one-on-one players in the league in Bron and Kyrie. They thrive in isolation plays. What makes Lebron's way so effective is that he himself literally involves the person in the play. He repeatedly sets up the person he wants (by both set plays and his own plays) over and over again and boosting their confidence by repeatedly doing that even when the game is on the line.
Westbrook was 1st in Player voting, 1st in Coach voting and 3rd in fan voting. Fan voting counts more (for some reason...) and that is why he ended up not starting.
he's averaging a triple double each game, yea harden is leading his team to the playoffs but westbrook just lost kd, westbrook is about to beat the record more most triple doubles in a season, either way whoever wins between those two I wouldn't mind
Metro Boomin its gonna be close between james and russ. but i thinks bcoz of the triple double. russ will win. but i want james to win the mvp because last season he was the mvp of the players and steph won becuase of the fans
Shannon is wrong, coaches voted for russ too. It wasn't an even 33% for each group, fan vote made up 50% and coaches and players each had 25%. So it was splits 50-50 but fans vote was the tiebreaker
Zaza Pachulia can score 10 points, so thats easy. Then the whole game pass it to someone to shoot and run to the rim. If they miss try and get the rebound, if they make it you get the assist. I would take Draymond Greens 1 non-scoring triple double over 33 of Westbrooks any day. As for the Curry thing anyone who watches a few golden state games can see that curry is a better passer than Westbrook but it doesn't reflect in the statistics because curry isn't afraid to pass it to someone just so they can pass it to someone else as long as they score.
Tiutube Yiutube He's never been afraid even before they were All Stars. Steph sharing the ball is the only reason Klay and Dray are able to show how diverse their game is and play at All Star levels. Russ at the PG spot couldn't make Harden an All Star. It's funny cause the same ppl online that try to diss Draymond as being a system player and not a legit All Star will then turn around and say he's an All Star whenever they want to make Curry look bad.
Thats irrelevant, lets break it down. I'm saying its to easy for Westbrook to get TD's using the formula I mentioned. In order for Westbrook the get the 10 assists his team mates still have to make baskets but the last person to pass it has to be him. I'm saying Curry is a better passer but does not care wether he's the last one to pass the ball before the person that shoots. The point is "afraid" or confidence in your teammate making the shoot has nothing to do with this formula because wether they make it or not you have a chance to get the rebound and if they do make it you get the assist.
Erik Rosas curry can rely on his teammates to make a good pass because they're capable playmakers. As for Russ, if he's not setting them up for a good look at the rim or an open shot, they're completely lost. Assists show how easy you're making it for your teammates and curry relying on his guys to step up all the time in no way make him a better passer than Russ.
I think Chris Is got it twisted. Russ would have had the same answer even if it was Jordan who has him under contract. He's one of if not the most competitive player of all time. The Media didn't even tell Russ completely what Curry said. They just told him a fraction so they could get a good story smh.
Danilo Jovović 4-0, 4-1 okc might sneak in one game. but if okc gets a playoff series against the warriors, spurs, or rockets it will be one sided. the playoff series will not be competitive at all. you enjoy watching one sided games?
he and steph are fine. this year's all star they were fine. last year steph put westbrook on his snapchat. and honestly, steph wasn't throwing shade at westbrook with his comment. he was saying with how they view who gets mvp, harden is more likely to get it. the reporter who asked wb about it didn't make it sound like shade either. I'm a wb fan, but he took it out of context. which is really no big deal.
who is steph? really? a two time league mvp, nba champion and arguably the best 3 point shooter in nba history. that man has a opinion and in his opinion, james harden is the mvp. Westbrook is all about his stats, all about chasing the triple doubles, which he believes makes him the mvp... but will that equal a championship as well? he is obviously chasing stats and its nothing wrong with that, if he just admitted it...stop pretending! "oh i just play hard and all i care about is the win." total bull IN MY OPINION. so i guess he will average a triple double for the rest of his career and win mvp every year ? oh please. u can see big men not even trying to rebound when he is in the game, yall think thats by accident? they have been instructed to get out of the way. why do u think nobody has more than 1 or 2 assists besides him? because he dominates the ball...so he can shoot when he wants and get majority of the assists.
Both Harden and Westbrook have underrated teammates and some of Westbrooks are rookies. Abrines, and Sabonis are going to get better, but right now he's deserving of MVP clearly because of what he has done from a historical standpoint. For people to make it seem like he's not a team player is disappointing. He's avereging 10 assists and is a great rebounder and goes and gets it amongst the trees.
The Curry hate is starting to get out of hand. Lets hold these other stars to the same standard we hold Curry to. Curry couldn't carry a team like Russ? what to a 6 or 7 seed? I don't remember curry playing on a team with 3 other All Stars when winning the title? Curry has elevated the play of Klay and Draymond. Russ had Ibaka, Durant, Harden, all on one team. even had Jeff Green. The thunder had a 3-1 lead and Curry dropped 95 pts over the final 3 games. and dropped 46 in OKC when he hit the game winner from half court. But I guess Curry was guarding himself? I understand Russ is the feel good story this year, but lets not act like he wasn't part of the problem. I've already seen Curry carry a team. Russ I've seen have a great individual season. Curry without KD had one of the greatest seasons ever. No consistency. The question was presented to Curry, " if you had a vote, who would you say?' it's the immaturity that's the difference between the two players.
Jeremy Blair Very true. I tell people all the time about how Steph won by elevating his teammates in 2015, plus the Warriors drafted all their so called star players. Curry is very talented I just think people hate on him bc he's on the Warriors breaking records and defying the game in a different way. Plus it doesn't help that he plays with Draymond lol
Jeremy Blair curry never carried a team btw the year before they won the finals klay Thompson was getting better and draymond was and still is the leader of the golden state warriors. In 2015 iggy got the finals MVP.
Actually Russel got 1st place in player and media voting for the all star game. He got 3rd in the fans behind harden and curry for the guard position, which is why he didn't start
yall acting like this is the firdt time. if i remember he did the same thing to reggie jackson about 2 years ago. westbrook does not care if ur steph curry he just cares about his team and winning games. everyone hates westbrooks attitude off the court but i absolutely love it.
Jacob Kadar Jackson asked to be traded to get away from playing with Russ. That's different. They had a legitimate problem with each other. Curry simply answered a question and did not slight Russ in any way. Curry even went out of his way to explain that it wasn't a matter of more value but that he gives the nod to "James" (don't know if that's Bron or Harden) because over the years the record has always mattered.
MG23 Jackson was backing up Russ and okc wasn't gonna start him at the two so he wanted to go elsewhere to see his full potential. Also why would curry not go with the guy to win MVP who would win it for the same reason curry won his two?
MG23 Jackson was a bench player at the time he left, just like Harden. They both wanted to start. How is that Westbrooks fault? You do know is 5on5 and not 6on5?
DJ DRoe da KING I never said Russ caused it. Just that they legit don't like each other and it's a mutual disliking. So of course Russ meant it in a disrespectful way when he said "Who?" regarding Reggie.
Nah he just got exposed in the playoffs last year, against westbrook(who laughed at his bad defense) and lebron(blocking curry every possession) And like fads, they come and go. Which is what curry is. This year curry isnt even in top 10 for MVP.
People exaggerate. The media loves controversy and blows everything out of proportion. He clearly meant "Who's he?" as in "Who's he to say who should be MVP? He's not a voter", not "Who's he?" as in "He's a nobody". People also hate on Chris Broussard for no reason, he's a great analyst.
kuay beatz But Russ is the one averaging a triple double and has 42 triple doubles...breaking the record and is definitely the MVP of this season. Now Russ is right because who is the woman that shaved off her vaginal hair and reattached it to her chin and called herself a man???? Serious question... imma just sayin dude🤔
If Russell leads the Thunder to a win over The Warriors on Monday, that should show even more that he is the MVP. Because then he would've led his team to wins over both of the best teams in the league right now. He beat the spurs as well.
Who's He He is Stephen Curry A 2 Time Unanimous MVP A Man who can shoot from anywhere and put a layup right under your arms n score He led his team to the finals which was arranged from the draft picks He dominated in Finals against the team of LeBron which we know as the King He is the important part of the team which beat the 95-96 Bulls untouchable record, 73-9 He is the one who never asked for any great players to be in the team He is that humble man who let his skills speak than trash talking He is the man who never cared about his stats, at the very beginning of the season where mates such as Westbrook n Harden were somehow scoring near to triple doubles, he was averaging 25 pts with Durant aside and where these two MVP candidates where getting these numbers with more minutes playing, with 32% 3pt range, 43% 2pt and 81% FT he was having 39% 3pt, 51% 2pt and 92% FT He is the person who beat you last year in Conference Finals with Durant with you and still you aren't able to give a tough competition when you faced him in this regualar season He is the man of a team which is currently at the top in all section, whether it's east or west There are lot of things about this guy which will still dominate your triple double average,,.
Dominated in the finals??? Steph has under performed in both finals hes played in. He was locked up by Delly against an injured Cavs team in 2014-2015 finals and then choked and was one of the main reasons the cavs won in the 2015-2016 finals .
Christian Bury Really Bro U came up with this I've seen each finals game and I remember everything 2015 Finals Steph was averaging 26 points in those 6 games Final MVP Andre was averaging 16 points per game Game 6 of the Finals Andre - 25 pts Steph - 25 pts and you saying he underperformed where Lebron was averaging 40 points in first two games. That was equivalent to MJ but do you know how much his team mates scored the score were 2,6,4 leaving Kyrie apart who scored 23 on his 1st game and 2016 Finals 1st three games he scored 19, 18, 15 next three games 37, 25, 30 and Last Game he really choked with I guess 11 points So can say to some point that he underperformed in 2016 finals but please don't exaggerate with this fake statement that he underperformed in both the finals,,.
trevion sewell didnt westbrook drop 27-7-11-4 on curry? aka more rebounds assists stls blocks ftms fg made 🤔 kd cost them game 6 and i promise u he did it on purpose so he could cut to the warriors especially after they admitted to recruiting him during the reg season
Shannon's wrong about the voting. Both the coaches and players picked Russ, and the fans picked Steph, but the fan vote not only counts for double, it's also the tie breaker.
Media who asked Westbrook took it out of context to create drama smh. All Curry said is he'd pick Harden because historically the MVP award has often gone to the candidate whose team has either the best/close to the best record.
Do you agree with Chris?

ADAJ3 steals are misleading. They fail to show true defensive value. Currys been up there in steals for years now

why people keep using this girlfriend/boyfriend analogy when they talk about Westbrook & Durant. They were business partners not lovers.
ikr its getting cringe when i hear them
we don't know that
+Shon Naw! That analogy weird bruh cuz they had their best years w/ westbrook, harden, and durant. So what was that a "threesome"? Bad analogy
RedLocks Rasta don't mix your business with friends. And they became great friends. So what you talking bout.
Shon I'm not making anything homoerotic; I just think it's a bad analogy. Draymond Green's apple employee/Google employee analogy was better.

That's interesting that they mentioned that about OKC's media...
Russ is carrying the Thunder as a 6'3" point guard averaging a triple double. I'd say if they get the 4-5 seed, he should definitely get the MVP

Russell did have 3 other All Stars on his team before Shannon.
Exactly
Who
BUT THKIEEEEEEEP!!!!
Duc Nguyen LMFAOOOOO SON 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Duc Nguyen lmao
Shout out to Chris's barber, how he keeps that baby afro so sharp and clean for years is impressive. Got me thinking if his hair is real or not LOL.
People are overreacting these dudes are cool with each other.
i would like to know the stats on how many times okc bench outscored the other teams bench
Damn people must hate competitiveness now
God I miss watching first take with skip and was...so sad that they're not together anymore... set fire to both stages
"who's he" as in he doesn't have a vote that's what i took from it
Chris Broussard always agrees with Skip :D
i'd take russ over harden in mvp
Artur Vasiljev nah
he's averaging a triple double each game, yea harden is leading his team to the playoffs but westbrook just lost kd, westbrook is about to beat the record more most triple doubles in a season, either way whoever wins between those two I wouldn't mind
Metro Boomin its gonna be close between james and russ. but i thinks bcoz of the triple double. russ will win. but i want james to win the mvp because last season he was the mvp of the players and steph won becuase of the fans
Dekotes Matthews Davis as in Anthony Davis 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Down Syndrome Dog don't be that guy lmao
Russ is the only real one left in the NBA. He doesn't want to be your friend he wants to win
Who is he now ?😂😆😂😆😂 Let's compared Chef curry vs Westbrick
At the all star practice I remember he and curry were talking to each other and laughing
He is a two time MVP and a World Champion. Who is Russel Westbrook?
Erik Rosas it's easy to not be afraid when you got two all stars and another map on the team lol
Tiutube Yiutube
He's never been afraid even before they were All Stars.
IF ITS EASY WHY HAS NO ONE ELSE DONE IT SINCE OSCAR. DONE ARGUMENT OVER BYE
I think Chris Is got it twisted. Russ would have had the same answer even if it was Jordan who has him under contract. He's one of if not the most competitive player of all time. The Media didn't even tell Russ completely what Curry said. They just told him a fraction so they could get a good story smh.
Chris would love to see an OKC playoff matchup vs GSW? lol. OKC will get swept in the playoffs if they're against the warriors, spurs, or rockets.
Ulysses De Leon that's cute, but you're not talking like literally swept, right, cause that would be ignorant
Danilo Jovović 4-0, 4-1 okc might sneak in one game. but if okc gets a playoff series against the warriors, spurs, or rockets it will be one sided. the playoff series will not be competitive at all. you enjoy watching one sided games?
Ulysses De Leon no way hou okc series is one sided
Every Rockets vs Thunder game this season has been close, they ain't sweeping no one
Ulysses De Leon Keep sleeping on the thunder
he and steph are fine. this year's all star they were fine. last year steph put westbrook on his snapchat. and honestly, steph wasn't throwing shade at westbrook with his comment. he was saying with how they view who gets mvp, harden is more likely to get it. the reporter who asked wb about it didn't make it sound like shade either.

Coaches and players both picked Westbrook, the vote was 50% fans 25% coaches and players. Fans hold the for breaker
Undisputed > First Take.
Damn Skip that’s a mighty nice watch
CO-MVP 2017: RUSSEL WESTROOK AND JAMES HARDEN
Jeremy Blair factz they hating on curry for playing more team ball this year like they forgot what curry can do smfh that's the media for uou
Jeremy Blair I don't think Ibaka ever went to the allstar game and harden wasn't as good as he is now with the thunder.
Jeremy Blair curry never carried a team btw the year before they won the finals klay Thompson was getting better and draymond was and still is the leader of the golden state warriors. In 2015 iggy got the finals MVP.
Jeremy Blair Draymond and Klay was gonna be good regardless u just tried tf outta them.
Jacob Kadar Exactly! If you ain't on my team, who are you to me?
Jacob Kadar
Jackson asked to be traded to get away from playing with Russ.
DJ DRoe da KING
I never said Russ caused it. Just that they legit don't like each other and it's a mutual disliking. So of course Russ meant it in a disrespectful way when he said "Who?" regarding Reggie.
people been disrespecting steph curry all year long it's a shame
Definition of Hype :Last year you the 'unanimous mvp'....this year...your not even in the conversation.
Supernova12034 because he has to share the ball with 3 other elite scorers including a 4 time scoring champ of course his numbers will go down
Nah he just got exposed in the playoffs last year, against westbrook(who laughed at his bad defense) and lebron(blocking curry every possession)
And like fads, they come and go. Which is what curry is. This year curry isnt even in top 10 for MVP.
Supernova12034 He scored 37 on Russ in the WCF what are you talking about?
DaRealMastalin klay tompson was guarding russ the whole time curry can't gaurd westbrook
charles cooper And Westbrook can't guard Curry
People exaggerate. The media loves controversy and blows everything out of proportion. He clearly meant "Who's he?" as in "Who's he to say who should be MVP? He's not a voter", not "Who's he?" as in "He's a nobody".
People also hate on Chris Broussard for no reason, he's a great analyst.
Francis Avoce check out my nba podcast
whos..he? he the back to back mvp, who keeps blowing u guys out with your former..lover KD lmal
kuay beatz check out my nba podcast
kuay beatz And then got exposed by his father, Kyrie Irving
kuay beatz But Russ is the one averaging a triple double and has 42 triple doubles...breaking the record and is definitely the MVP of this season. Now Russ is right because who is the woman that shaved off her vaginal hair and reattached it to her chin and called herself a man???? Serious question... imma just sayin dude🤔
kuay beatz didn't really deserve 2 mvps
Tornadospeed10 lol who deserved it thn last year..30 points on 50-40-90..400 3s in season..73 wins
If Russell leads the Thunder to a win over The Warriors on Monday, that should show even more that he is the MVP. Because then he would've led his team to wins over both of the best teams in the league right now. He beat the spurs as well.
Who's He
He is Stephen Curry
A 2 Time Unanimous MVP
A Man who can shoot from anywhere and put a layup right under your arms n score
He led his team to the finals which was arranged from the draft picks
He dominated in Finals against the team of LeBron which we know as the King
He is the important part of the team which beat the 95-96 Bulls untouchable record, 73-9
He is the one who never asked for any great players to be in the team
He is that humble man who let his skills speak than trash talking
He is the man who never cared about his stats, at the very beginning of the season where mates such as Westbrook n Harden were somehow scoring near to triple doubles, he was averaging 25 pts with Durant aside and where these two MVP candidates where getting these numbers with more minutes playing, with 32% 3pt range, 43% 2pt and 81% FT
he was having 39% 3pt, 51% 2pt and 92% FT
He is the person who beat you last year in Conference Finals with Durant with you
and still you aren't able to give a tough competition when you faced him in this regualar season
He is the man of a team which is currently at the top in all section, whether it's east or west
There are lot of things about this guy
which will still dominate your triple double average,,.
I man that has no legacy cause he only chocked and bricks
dominated in finals ? I don't know which game you were watching dude.. he chocked so hard rofl
I stopped reading when you said dominated in finals. Last time I checked he has NO finals MVP trophy.
Dominated in the finals??? Steph has under performed in both finals hes played in. He was locked up by Delly against an injured Cavs team in 2014-2015 finals and then choked and was one of the main reasons the cavs won in the 2015-2016 finals .
Christian Bury
Really Bro
U came up with this
I've seen each finals game
and I remember everything
2015 Finals Steph was averaging 26 points in those 6 games
Final MVP Andre was averaging 16 points per game
Game 6 of the Finals
Andre - 25 pts
Steph - 25 pts
and you saying he underperformed
where Lebron was averaging 40 points in first two games.
That was equivalent to MJ
but do you know how much his team mates scored
the score were 2,6,4 leaving Kyrie apart who scored 23 on his 1st game
and 2016 Finals
1st three games he scored 19, 18, 15
next three games
37, 25, 30
and Last Game he really choked with I guess 11 points
So can say to some point that he underperformed in 2016 finals
but please
don't exaggerate with this fake statement that
he underperformed in both the finals,,.
Only those with Sharpest of Eyes could see that Shanon and Chris are taking shots at each other as they speak. Physiological Warfare at its best.
Guess he can find out who he is while watching him in the playoffs.... ;-)
Jason Powers the final would be better .
Brousard and Nelly should make a show. It would top First take and Undisputet
Russell Westbrook Steph Curry is the guy who dropped 38'on you in game 7 of the WCF
trevion sewell let's stay in the present cause right now curry isn't even a top 10 player anymore
Mpthegreat I hope your talking about Seth Curry
trevion sewell didnt westbrook drop 27-7-11-4 on curry? aka more rebounds assists stls blocks ftms fg made 🤔 kd cost them game 6 and i promise u he did it on purpose so he could cut to the warriors especially after they admitted to recruiting him during the reg season
Mpthegreat that's crazy he's in a slump right now sure but you can't name 10 players better than him at his best right now.
jeremiah greenwood he missed shots on purpose so he can join them?
If Russ actually said to Steph "when you average a triple double call me" steph will just say "when you get 2 mvp's and a ring call me" lol
Russel's defense is better than stephs
but stephs basketball IQ is much more higher than Russel
steph is much better than russel
Shannon's wrong about the voting. Both the coaches and players picked Russ, and the fans picked Steph, but the fan vote not only counts for double, it's also the tie breaker.
Ohhh look at joy eye ball down Shannon at 2:28
can we please see cowherd come on the show and do a segment with skip and shannon??
The media makes a big deal out of everything. Smh 🤦♂️
Media who asked Westbrook took it out of context to create drama smh. All Curry said is he'd pick Harden because historically the MVP award has often gone to the candidate whose team has either the best/close to the best record.
Aged so badly 🤣
I remember in the 80s when Larry Bird and Magic Johnson had these kind of jibes and then they became the best of friends
Steph Curry gets no respect.
Jonathan Shoucair becausr you guyd are overrating him just stop
Jonathan Shoucair no one knew who this dude was 3 years ago
Because he's overrated
I kno bro , it's disrespectful to compare him to lebron or other all time greats
But all the bandwagons want to defend him
