The one problem I see that isn't discussed about Russel alot of the time is his rebounding. By trying to get rebounds, he is sacrificing the fastbreak. And this is where basketball IQ comes into play, as a PG he must know when his bigs need help and when they don't. He should be ready to run (his athleticism is best used here IMO) when his bigs is sure to get the ball and be ready to help when they are struggling inside the paint.
@@shawnkeith2414 it's LeBron why Russ is second in turnovers, last in 3 point shooting, and not trying at all on defense? How about Russ blowing 35% of dunks this year? That LeBron too?

Russ must be one of the most hardest working and dedicated athletes ever. Otherwise, he wouldn't be reaching the level of greatness he did having absolutely zero self awareness.
Lebron played a part most definitely but all because he wanted it don’t mean the front office had to listen to him. They could’ve rejected his proposal. It’s everybody fault.
It’s actually true that the Lakers never gave him a fair chance Russ had lots of games where he scored big points, played good defense, and played with hustle Russ needed more time to get acclimated to this team but they never allowed him the time 💯💯✅
I don't think I've heard not once this entire season, where Russ said, "This game was my fault. I should've played better. That was my bad." He can't take ownership of his own problems. Fair chance???
Russ didn't develop his game with a jump shot and with taking care of the ball. I give him credit for playing hard but it doesn't balance out because he is so reckless and loose with the ball. I am shocked the LBJ and AD thought this would work.
Yes. Can we blame Goat James for endorsing him? Smartest IQ in basketball but wanted Russ instead of anyone else speaks volumes. Shannon is letting his fandom blind him. Lebron did this.
@@freddyp319 u right. But saying that, your accepting that Russ is the player that he is. The man doesn’t bring anything consistent that’s required to win in the playoffs. You’re trippin haaaaaaaard son 😂 Russ put up some great numbers as a laker he played hard scored points, rebounded the ball was a great teammate you’re another hater those people were right take a hike pipsqueak
Russ was unbelievable as a Laker he scored points rebounded the ball played very aggressively played with lots of hustle what more do you want from a basketball player? And to mention he was a great teammate so a great player who can put the ball in the basket a good teammate, a good rebounder you are another hater, bro those people were right take a hike pipsqueak 🤡
@@danielhuffman8752 your right the worst 3 point shooter out of every qualified player when he was on the lakers, lead the league in turnovers, low free throw percentage, refused to come off the bench and made sure everyone knew just how unhappy he was. Russ is so funny man, you wanna know why Vogel had a “problem” with you! It took this man 40 games to start to play well. He just wanted Vogel to stand there and watch him when he was missing layups and putting up 6 turnover games? Vogel tried to make Russ the pg but he stunk, literally 2nd in the league in turnovers with those “little” touches.
🤣🤣🤣
Over 40***
40 games? Didn’t he hit a go ahead shot against the Heat in like game 17? Yall really be making stuff up to make this man look bad it’s crazy😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅

Skip will never miss an opportunity to throw shade at bron 😂

Even 8 months later, this is an all time classic segment from these two. I return to this video often
I have watched this clip maybe almost 10 times already. This is one of my FAV Skip and Shannon segments EVER omg they have me dying and I keep laughing even though I’ve seen it. Getting me through work 😂
Westbrook:
“Skip never gave me a fair shot”
Trading away kuzma Caruso and kcp really hurt the lakers this season
Brogdon and Heild would be so perfect.
Charles Barkley about to drag y’all lol and Shannon sweating like he just got through with a sermon 😂😂
Another non winning player lol
Looking like he could bust out a "Can i get an Amen up in here?! Y'all don't hear me..." at any moment!! 😭😭😭
Only thing Barkley dragging is a 20pc bucket of KFC
Who is Charles Barkley supposed to be? He got not one championship to show for it ..
God I miss these two together
“Defiantly Delusional” is so accurate man 😂
I wish we could talk about the teams that are doing good this year and not one of the worst teams in the league 😂
Not happening bruh
You think anyone wants to watch someone talk about the grizzlies?
I wish folks would either get up and watch the show in the mornings, or not click on videos that get them triggered.
I agree, but I’m glad they’re going off on Russ. He 150% deserves it. Mostly because he’s taken no accountability.
Somewhere......Steven Adams therapist knows lolol.
because he wanted his triple double. he didnt give a damn about winning just wanted to say he got his triple double so it must be the team.
Shannon seems truly angered by Russ, stuttering, messing up his words, sweating. Shannon is a real fan.
Unc was debating as hard as russ plays 🤣 spitting facts though as always 💯
Russ is so thick headed to realize he’s not good
IT'S NOT RUSSELL WESTBROOK IT'S LEBRON FAULT
@@shawnkeith2414 its lebron's fault Westbrook turns the ball over , airball shots , hitting the backboard ??
@@shawnkeith2414 it's LeBron why Russ is second in turnovers, last in 3 point shooting, and not trying at all on defense? How about Russ blowing 35% of dunks this year? That LeBron too?
@@shawnkeith2414 bruh Lebron isn’t off the hook either, he’s responsible for the moves they made. But the fact that people r saying that Russ needs to be traded says all that you need to know about how well he can adapt and fix his problems that he’s been had for a decade now.
Cmon bro, yeah his personal feats r impressive but he doesn’t provide anything consistent that’s required to win in the playoffs.
I don’t know how u guys defending Russ can’t see that.
@@ashtonsingh9464 He isn’t off the hook, but he damn sure isn’t to blame for Westbrook being trash

This is easily Shannon Sharpe's most iconic and passionate rant of all time.

This got to be the funniest segment in Undisputed history. Shannon was hot and voiced the opinion of millions of Lakers fans.
He started every game wym fair chance 🤦🏽♂️
Right gosh dude
Felt dumb
Probably means more opportunities/better system
Will he be back next season?
@@IWantToMature85 I hope so, he averaged good numbers
Whenever I need a laugh, I watch this
Russ had been so terrible that’s he was consistently having skip and Shannon agreeing with eachother 😂😂
Shannon and Skip have both been bringing some HOT HEAT on the Westbrook topic. From Shay sweating through his suit and wiping his forehead to Skip playing lowlights to circus music. Been a GOOD year for Undisputed
Russ actually threw the only possible person in the team that backed him up I have lost any respect I had for him because of this and I had not that much to begin with for him
Backed him? This is the same guy when asked if he wanted Russ gone at the deadline said: "We'll do anything we can to make our team better"?
Lmao.
Vogel never had his back.
Russ must be one of the most hardest working and dedicated athletes ever. Otherwise, he wouldn't be reaching the level of greatness he did having absolutely zero self awareness.
4 teams in 4 years! Wow!
5 teams 4 years now
Lebron is the sole reason the Lakers brought on Westbrook, he should be blamed.
How you know?
LeBronica sucks
So lebron owns the lakers ? He is def not the sole reason
Lebron played a part most definitely but all because he wanted it don’t mean the front office had to listen to him. They could’ve rejected his proposal. It’s everybody fault.
Love bron but he needs to stop playing gm cuz we all know he plays a part in team formations
Shannon is hilarious when going off like this
Unc was going in today he’s absolutely right😂😂🔥🔥
It’s actually true that the Lakers never gave him a fair chance Russ had lots of games where he scored big points, played good defense, and played with hustle Russ needed more time to get acclimated to this team but they never allowed him the time 💯💯✅
Preach Shannon, preach! Everything he said about West brick is so true, let the church say Amen!😇
I'm sick of Russbrick always complaining.
Shannon on one today 🤣😂 I like Russ but his play and those comments don't help his case.
The season will start soon once more and I can't wait to come back to this video again 😂
“Never gave him a chance” ???? Bro WHAT?!😐
Never did.
Love Shannon! He keeps it real. These days we have bias analysts
I don't think I've heard not once this entire season, where Russ said, "This game was my fault. I should've played better. That was my bad." He can't take ownership of his own problems. Fair chance???
Your delusional he’s done it a few times and recently aswell
This was an All-Time great segment😮💨🤣🤣
If we just going to accept that Russ is what he is, than he’s never going to win.
I can criticize him because our criticism would result in him being a way better player and potentially wining a chip.
I don’t accept that, I believe the man can change, he just stubborn.
And it’s a joke because we’ve seen guys like Giannis and Lonzo Ball get better at shooting because they worked on it. Westbrick has no excuse to still be a terrible shooter after being in the league for 10 years. Shooting below 30% from 3 on the season is pathetic.
@@freddyp319 Russ wasn’t the only guy bron and AD wanted my guy but once they realized they couldn’t get buddy Neil’s and derozan they should’ve just stopped trying to push for big named player. Should’ve stacked role players
@@ashtonsingh9464 Stubborn or not, he can develop into another player on another team. He's a circus act, got paid to perform triple doubles but we don't care about that in L.A.
I’ve always HATED the argument that Westbrook plays HARD yet he plays RECKLESS and OUT OF CONTROL
Reckless and hard are two different things. And most people confuse the two.
Loool plays hard but no defence, make that make sense.
Preach Shannon! you can let 20 games a year Davis go as well!
This whole season looked like Bron said to Brodie day 1, "Just do your thing. That's why you're here. We got you!". Then AD and LBJ skipped out to DL Land. Westbrook was the only dude to give 100.
Imma Westbrook fan…..but sadly, imma have to agree with Shannon🤦🏾♂️
I was until that vid
I like when skip and shannon actually agree on stuff
"Not just Lebron, Russ actually thinks he's better than Magic Johnson!"
Russ watching at home: "Magic never averaged a triple double"
Most heated agreement of all time
The anger is he has refused to change his playstyle that will help the team win, athleticism is declining. Can't see him as a starter next season
Just by seeing Uncle Shay Shay wiping off sweating bullets just defines how frustrated we all are with Russ
Ever since Westbrick came to the Lakers this has become one of my favourite comedy duos lol,
lol shannon seems real frustrated with what Westbrook said 😂
Westbrook heard everyone say he’s 🗑. He’s just defending himself.
the greatest opening on undisputed ever! lol
he started everygame and played the most minutes out of everyone... so what does he think is a fair chance
@5:40 that was 11 years before Russ was even born.
It always blows me away that Skip is as old as he is. My mans looks great.
When he said earlier in the season “winning isn’t everything” that’s when I knew this team wasn’t going anywhere.
I knew before the start of the season
“I didn’t have any expectations” told us all we need to know
I knew this team wasn’t going anywhere once we traded for him, heck every true laker fan knew that. Everyone knows that lebron needs needs shooters defenders and just smart players. This was the case after lebrons last truly elite defensive season, 2016 championship. Russ doesn’t have any of those qualities and also requires the ball to operate when everyone knows lebron must have the ball because he is the greatest playmaker in nba history since magic Johnson. As soon as we got Russ, I knew we were doomed.
I swear
