I do luv a LP and th P90's and now I luv the fender bassman , that chunky crunchy overdriven sound just rocks me , and that Lemmo has lightning fingers when he plays hard , such a nice guitar with the relic gold top and easy neck , #5 is alive .
That guitar looks so inviting to play. I want that particular one.

Very Cool . I have been a custom guitar builder for close 40 years now , and trying to do a aged finish is a real art. Sometimes great.... sometimes not. I always say lay down the nitro and let guitar earn its age. Keep up the good work!!!

They're great fun, got mine the beginning of the year. Takes a bit of practice, Mike's making it look really easy lol.
@@notsosure7757 he always makes it look easy lol. I’m usually not very impressed with people that build up songs with loop pedals but he keeps it simple and it sounds like a couple of guys jamming togeather. It’s always really tasteful. It would give me exactly what i want to play along to. I’m a lead guy because it’s easy for me to do, it comes natural. But when i try to play rhythm i gradually lose timing. I always found it difficult to strum and stay in time for any lenth of time. I’m probably the only lead guy that plays lead because it’s something i understand and not for more attention lol. But i can play enough rhythm to give myself what i want to jam along with so I’m definitely getting one theres just so many on the market it’s hard to decide which one to get. My knowledge of them is pretty limited. I feel like i should get a low priced one till i know more about em but what if it’s one of those situations where you get what you pay for?
Is it just me or did “peace of mind” have a Ventures Surf Vibe to it? Some times it’s the instrument or amps that call out the music. Is it the Anp or the setting that gives it that air?

Why can’t they do that kind of checking on all their relic guitars?! The Murphy lab guitars are beautiful, but the level of checking is night and day. It’s like a master vs a novice. I would die to play this guitar. It’s my dream les paul. A super high relic gold top with that kind of checking. Only thing that would make it better is a gold back and neck with the same checking.

I know that everyone has their own taste in guitars and I would never criticize anyone for what they like. But I was hoping you would be kind enough to answer my question. My feelings are completely opposite to yours. I would be ecstatic to find a genuine Les Paul from the 50's and since that isn't very likely I would love one of the reissues. But I would prefer one in mint condition. Over the years i am sure that it will age on its own. But what I don't understand is the appeal of relicing. Again
I am not trying to criticize your preference. I was just hoping you could tell me why you like it. But no matter what I hope that someday you can get the guitar of your dreams and play your best on it.

Is this model has single coils only?
Les Pauls had single-coils from 1952 to sometime in 1957, so this reissue would have the P-90s. . .

A creative interpretation of that first Boston tune, but nothing wrong with that, right? I mean, I understand about indecision. Definitely an instrument meant for spirited musical congress, right there.
The aging and relicing that has become so popular will be the least desirable in a few years. Fake is fake and I understand the idea....but reject the value,.
yeah, it's cool but overdone. Doesn't hurt the sound and playability though and I believe this one has both nicely covered.

Doesnt sound like a guitar. May be sounding like a LP just like Strats sound like Strats , not like guitars. A guitar is a hollowbody instrument (i m not so humble o) :))))
