If only I was around to buy this at retail for $89.99!!! Prob the highest ROI out of all of them. I was one of those fans that didn’t want to say it was… simply because I didn’t want to get it… then… I caved haha
One thing I have heard people claiming why it’s not a modular has to do with the next one (or 4th modular) released is the fire brigade. It has a brick built number 3 in the driveway, which people claim as Lego saying it’s the 3rd modular.
I was trying to find reference against it with Jamie’s LEGO videos… he always passes it when he talks about it. I also tried to find text online for it as I’ve always wondered… why 3? There are 3 firemen.. and having it be the 3rd modular intention with the retcon of adding marketstreet officially… makes sense.
Also on the website, if you click on any modular set and scroll down it shows you every single modular set, with the year they were released, kinda like a timeline, and market street is there
for me yes, it is clearly one (in fact I am rebuilding it with my own parts and that way I will have all the modulars!) The question that should be asked, in my opinion, is rather: are the marvel modulars part of the modular line? Personally I think yes and no, yes for the modular building aspect which can be assembled with others, no because of the superhero figurines which take away the "normal city" atmosphere of the modular line. And to go even further, I do not consider the ninjago city modulars as parts of the modular line, for the simple reason that they are much too tall (even next to the town hall which is the tallest modular) and that they are too colorful and too "messy" (although they are magnificent) next to the modulars of the modular line. Finally, I almost forgot, the ghostbusters modular has for me the same reasoning as the marvel modulars. Keep up your videos, they are great!!!
Yea - those people missed it so they say it isn’t. Nobody thought that it wasn’t when it came out

I tried this… on the Jazz club… I don’t see it. Do I just scroll down?
Finally, a solid answer backed up with evidence! Also thank you for your service!
How you guys feel about Market Street is how I feel about the Bricklink Designer Program sets.

yeah it's a modular that I don't want 😅

The building part?
Market street is by far the worst modular 😂
