Charpentier aurait composé six Te Deum. Celui-ci est connu pour son prélude qui sert de générique au concours de chansons de l’Eurovision.

The Te Deum in D major by Marc-Antoine Charpentier is a great Versailles motet (musical form). It was composed between 1688 and 1698.
Charpentier is said to have composed six Te Deums. This one is known for its prelude which serves as the credits to the Eurovision Song Contest.
