The "breathing animation" is an emulator glitch, it's not supposed to happen. Your emulator also has gray boxes inside the speech bubbles: It's not configured correctly. Can't wait to sink my teeth into this game on my evaluation series though.

Meh, I've seen worse emulator glitches
BTW......that „glitch“ is a „normal“ effect on the PS1. The PS1 had no hardware based transformation correction, so the devs had to do it by themselves. This routines are often not that perfect (e.g. rounding errors, taking shortcuts for more FPS, and so on). Normally stepping a little bit left or right should solve the „glitch“.

They used a 3D plugin to emulate a 2D game on ePSXe. If they used a software 2D plugin the game should look without that glitch.

Mish Koz I can confirm that does not happen with me on the PS3 version. I believe PSOne Classics use emulation though, so maybe there's some variable that does make the glitch happen

Kris Cas I think it's because if a bird is flying on a very cold day, their wings get numb and stiff, and they can't fly like that, making them fall? Personally, I want to know why Poison is weak to Psychic.

11:21 fun fact it's actually not meant to be breathing, it's a glitch on the blink animation present only on the psone version, far more noticeable on emulation (I never saw it on my ps1 and crt TV lol) on the saturn version doesn't happen at all emulation or not

I love how peppy Caddy is about Mega Man 8 and its cheesiness! It's so refreshing to see someone not shit on it all the time and look at it for what it is. A flawed, yet fun game with hilarious campy anime cutscenes. Gotta love that horrid voice acting for Dr. Light and Docta Waiwee. Easily the funniest part of the episode.
