The "breathing animation" is an emulator glitch, it's not supposed to happen. Your emulator also has gray boxes inside the speech bubbles: It's not configured correctly. Can't wait to sink my teeth into this game on my evaluation series though.
BTW......that „glitch“ is a „normal“ effect on the PS1. The PS1 had no hardware based transformation correction, so the devs had to do it by themselves. This routines are often not that perfect (e.g. rounding errors, taking shortcuts for more FPS, and so on). Normally stepping a little bit left or right should solve the „glitch“.

I really like how most of the time, your guest collabs seem to have some kind of hostility with you. Brutalmoose, Scarfhulu, Gilly...I dunno if that's a popular thing among UA-camrs that I somehow missed, but it seems much more amusing to me when you have the ability to bicker with your guest rather than being the best of friends.

Actually, Caddy said he was playing the GameCube version for Sonic Heroes, still, it's kind of BS he shoots Gill for talking about the Saturn version of MM8 on his "PS1" channel when he's covered stuff outside of PS1 games, mainly movies and PS2 games.
I love how peppy Caddy is about Mega Man 8 and its cheesiness! It's so refreshing to see someone not shit on it all the time and look at it for what it is. A flawed, yet fun game with hilarious campy anime cutscenes. Gotta love that horrid voice acting for Dr. Light and Docta Waiwee. Easily the funniest part of the episode.
pro-tip: You can cancel the slide by jumping or pressing the opposite direction. use that on the slide slide jump jump sections. Also, You can use the mega buster while having a weapon equipped.

They used a 3D plugin to emulate a 2D game on ePSXe. If they used a software 2D plugin the game should look without that glitch.
