This song writer is genius.
It’s probably one of the best band in this world.
First Night at 1:07:42. Just putting this here for my own sake.
Thanks, me. Knew I’d need this at some point.
I can't stand it when the banging stops.
Cowboy Song from Thin Lizzy guitar solo licks spotted at 23:15. Awesome :D !
She said city center used to be the center of our scene. Now city center's over. No one really goes there.
Ooooh. That was the line right after he pointed out there was a guy with a Twins hat (me) in the audience. Left Köln and now I have the Minneapolis skyline outside of my window again. Was such a cool experience after 10 years in Germany to sing along to songs about my hometown.
@@danielh3420 nice! looks like it was a great concert to be at
Craig Finn is a lyrical genius, no doubt.
Actually.....its like springsteen and the replacements as one band. Hell yeah!
First Hold Steady is the best titled Almost Killed Me. I was lucky to see them on that tour in Ybor City FL with Swearing at Motorists opening.
I feel this narrative about Hallelujah, Gideon and Charlemagne is a movie I've seen in my head every time I listen to the separation sunday album❤
I feel the same way!
31:38 careful, green shirt. Remember where you are ;)
Yeaaaaah!
Somebody needs to index this.
Done 😎
Fantastic band!!
Yeaaaah!
thanks for uploading! was there, incredible concert, incredible band. pleased to the see that this completely pissed guy (I guess it must have been a GI who had come up from Heidelberg or so) who ruins the break in 'last night' is really as hilarious as I remembered him. massive night!
What a gig!
But this band is better than both.
My parents actually grew up on that show, glad it's still around. I just love Finn's excitement!
this guy looks like my math teacher
Malik Hatch he looks like Denzel W
Sweet
they cut out the navy sheets line
ohhhhh sheets!
ditto:)
(1:10:53) LOL
The great
not the same band without the keyboards
What's the bloke on the left hand side of the stage as we look at it doing? Jesus.
Gareth Johnson
and whats the year of the video to the right of the title? 2009...they no longer have that keyboard player. hence, this video is a better live performance than they give now a days, in hamilton lethauser's opinion. you aren't half as smart as you think you are, sir.
Ah I see, thanks for explaining. That's a bad move losing the keyboards. Talking about yourself in the third person is a good sign of eccentricity too.
No, Franz is still there in this video. He hadn't left the band yet ... and then he came back in 2016 so it's all good.
first song of theirs ive heard,, excellent!
Church of Our Holy Disaffected. Amen.
