Grampians and Arapiles Part I 2018

Video from my 2018´s trip to Australia. Featuring amongst others my Australien nemesis, that is 'Lord of the Rings' in Arapiles. A route that told me a different story to what I'm used to hear. Feeling at home in the french 8b grade, the route eluded me with it's minimalistic character and scale shaped texture. Moves got quickly done in the first session, sections were linked and normally at the point when the shirt comes off, the send is imminent. But somehow starting with the 7b intro, progress was little and at the 8th session I plateaued a few moves from a not awesome but sufficient rest. Looking back, the gos in the 6th&7th session were probably my best performance on a rope regarding efficient movement and speed at the same time. Thanks to Mein Ausrüster for always supplying us with the best gear!

Had climbed Eureka Wall just when they started the stupid ban. The best wall in the world by far. wished I had a drone with me back then. video is amazing.
