Great review, Steve. I agree with you on his intro. I've experienced everything he wrote about, but never articulated it in my own mind. I'm also looking at Fireworks as something to add. I currently have a similar routine and need to explore them side by side and make some decisions. We need to Zoom sometime and talk about Andi's Master Push Off. I developed my own style over the years, and would love to compare notes with you.
Thanks Steven. Yes I really related to it as well. Yes we must when time (and family) allow. I think I'm now doing a hybrid of this and a regular double push-off. Have a brilliant one.
Great review. I might check up the book as your review tells me that it's good. Plus the interview was brilliant so hopefully the essays inside the book will be amazing too
Thank you. There’s nothing much in the way of essays other than a great introduction. Check out his Astonishing Essay for a more theoretical book. Still some great stuff in that intro though 😊
First:The structure of book. It has the thickest cover of any I have ever held. It is pleasure to hold. As you turn the pages they float pass your hands. The fabric cover has a satisfying texture. And a no nonsense work horse sensibility. It screams I'm here for the long haul. The elements Mr. Gladwin worked out in Morgan and West's Parlour Magic are present in this work. One thing I find amusing is a typo of on the title page: Design by And Gladwin. I remember a quote by the author of America Gods turn to any page you will find a typo. Last thing: I wonder if they is an easter egg on the cover. A missing Two of spades.
Great review. This is a very nice looking book. I would like this since I like Andy's stuff. But I just bought Principia, partly based on your review and I am struggling through that one. I'm sure I can eventually learn some of the tricks. I want to anyway. This book sounds well beyond my abilities. Stay safe
Thanks Steve for such a great review. I have been genuinely interested in what this book is like. I'm trying to be really picky about what books I pick up. I only want to purchase them if I am really going to give them the time and practice they deserve and if they are worthy. This review was helpful. Have a great holiday.
This guy is all over the place but words backwards underneath over does he get drunk before he makes each one of these videos I started listening to this guy my head gets all scrambled what the hell is he talking about
Thanks for the review! Considering this one for a long time and closer now than ever to pulling the trigger before it's too late.
Fascinating to hear a review from you.
Thanks Andrew 😊

Great review. I got this as a part of the VI sales 2 weeks back. Really enjoying it. Thanks Steve 🥂
Thanks Avi and hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Have a great one.
Brilliant review Steve! I bought it at Blackpool and I've really enjoyed reading it.
