Great review. In particular, I appreciate your mentioning the information that has already been released. In this case, seeing The Master Pushoff in print would be terrific, because I didn’t quite get it from watching the DVD. Printed descriptions, when well written, tend to be detailed, so I’m tempted to get this just for that technique.

Jeff I bought the book at the Sessions and I have an autographed copy and he spoke about his intention to write the book and it is an amazing book. I also liked the presentation and the illustration. I do agree that the photos take too much space and a bit repetitive from his previous work. The redness of the book adds color to the library.

Andi just posted an update and said that it is delayed due to him not being able to get back to the US to shoot some video footage that he wants to release with the book. Once that is wrapped up they should be able to release.

Great review. Very red? I guess that means that whether or not you buy it, the book has 100% of being red... err... read. I was tempted to get this one, but I think my bank book needs to recover from Vanishing Inc's latest sale....

Thanks for the review! Great as always. Have you read Rune's World? Just curious. It looks like an interesting one.

I have not. I agree it looks interesting, but as my saying goes: so many books, so little time (and money). Thanks for the comment!

Can we talk about $50 for a book? I have been a reader all my life and except for magic books, DVD's etc. have never spent that much on a book. Ok I bought a Liber Usualis for $70 in college but at the time it was well worth it. Is it because they are small batch publishing? Is it because magicians will pay $50? I don't know. Unless you are getting +$100 per gig and getting lots of gigs in a week is this really how we should be spending our money as magicians?

I think there are a lot of factors that go into the price of a book, and on this one, I think a lot of it is the production values. Some will decide they don't need the full-color, large photos with a slip case, but that's the only way this one is packaged 🤷🏻
