You’re just a tease, now aren’t You?
Now you know why the Brits call it a spitfire.
My favourite part0:00 - 0:12
💯
theres a reason they are called spitfires
0:05 that sound!
should have called it a pheonix
Mark IX? XII? 14? 24? With the Griffon it ended becoming almost twice more powerful than the earlier versions... ❤️
MkIX was Merlin powered,This is probably a MkXIV.
You are right. The “new” engine the IX received was a Merlin 61, an improved version with two superchargers.
Its presumably a mk14 or mk16Or even a mk18
It’s a MkXIV by judging the shape of the nose, the propeller and the canopy.
Almost certainly a Mk XIV. It could be a Mk XVIII but they missed the war and there weren't especially many.
I find it funny that the spitfire mk v, ix and xiv are all interims but they were produced the most other than mk 1
As balky as its little brother, Merlin.
Think about a rich mixture operation.
Hello chúc ngày mới tốt lành

🤔 So that why it got this name?
No, "spitfire" comes from the chairman of who essentially developed and designed the plane, he nicknamed his daughter "the little spitfire"

Sorry guys, the Griffon engine is a Rolls Royce. You probably mean you prefer the Merlin engine, also by Rolls Royce, which is what they first put in a Spitfire before developing this much more powerful engine later in the war
Tis. RR.
? It is a Rolls Royce.
@@JohnyG29 Rolls Royce Griffon Engine yes,way more powerful than the merlin and was used in later models of the Spitfire as well as the Shackleton
So… not really a start up.
