Mannequins MANGROVE x2 + PPM / Layered oscillators

After several years of owning several modules from the Whimsical Raps Mannequins lineup, I got enticed into impulsively buying a second Mangrove. So far, the only modules I have more than one of, are VCA's. I have often thought of a second Morphagene, but with Miso Cornflakes, Mutable Instruments BEADS, and Blukaç Endless Processor I have enough sampling, chopping and smearing options (not really).
This is my very first run with the dual Mangrove setup, layering them over a bass line, but one of them interrupted by a sequence coming from the Malekko Voltage Block.
I will definitely be revisiting this setup in more detail as soon as I have more time, but for now, let us take a trip into the Mangrove and stare at the sky.

Sound absolutely incredible. I have a Mangrove + PPM combo arriving soon and was gonna sell my old Mangrove but might hold on to it hearing this. Any FX after?
Thank you! They are both going through the Sisters filter and then two granular processors (and some reverb at times).
Mangrove is one of those oscillators that surprised me when I acquired it because there was more to it than it seemed at first glance. There was an inherent complexity in it... I also remember some old videos of yours where you used it with a box similar to this one and that I analyzed for a long time as the "aspirational" of mine... now you have more power than ever. What did you think?
Wow. We can say that we go a while back now, very cool. And very high compliments coming from you, I really love what you have been putting out as well.I am trying to remember when I actually first became aware of it, can't remember exactly, but it definitely lured me in a very unique way. IT is interesting because sometimes I just appreciate the 'simplicity' and sweet sound of something like a Make Noise STO, but there is something in that pitch-shifting formant-singing that just keeps me thinking of the Mangrove as a staple of what I conceptualize as modular synthesizer. It can be a bit stubborn, but its simple complexity is so worth it to me. I definitely need to take a little time to play with the PPM expander, but it is a really cool addition to the system.
