How does an image become iconic? How does an image become a symbol, a sign, an archetype, a cliché or pastiche. Time brings iteration, the drive of palimpsest, the carving of mass in time against the movement of masses, the coercing of gazes and desires, the confusion of wills and drives, twisting language out of itself, recalling Cioran and the ultimate meaninglessness behind every word. Behind every word - a void. Behind every image - a chasm. Behind everyone - the slow pulse and hum of electricity, flowing in nothingness.
