    Thanks much for the video! Would you please help with two questions?
    1) Are there staffs at front desk for checking in/out, or just machines?
    2) Bathrooms seem a bit outdated, e.g. curtains instead of glass shower doors, what do you think?

    • @wheretonext1190
      @wheretonext1190  19 днів тому +1

      Hi Michael! Thank you for watching my video! With regards to your queries, yes, there are hotel staff at the front desk who can assist you. You may still need to use the machines but the staff can assist you.
      As for the bathrooms, most business hotels in Japan have small rooms with very compact bathrooms. They use curtains to save on very valuable land space as opposed to glass shower doors. Some bigger and more expensive hotels might have glass shower doors, or in most cases, just separate areas for toilet and bathroom.
      I hope I was able to answer your queries. In case you haven't, I hope you can also consider subscribing to my channel for more useful travel videos, including other hotel videos. Thanks again for watching! Enjoy your weekend! :)

    I come from Thailand🇹🇭 Thank you for taking a review of the hotel and sharing it.❤️
    I'd like to ask some more:
    1. Is there an elevator at Exit 7 of Namba Station? because I have suitcases and an elderly person traveling with me.
    2. Can I deposit a suitcase before check-in and after check-out?
    Thank you so much🥰

    • @wheretonext1190
      @wheretonext1190  4 місяці тому +2

      Hi Thitapa! Thank you for watching my video and for appreciating my work! With regards to your query, no, unfortunately, there is no elevator at Exit 7 of Namba station. However, if you are coming from Kansai airport, you can use the Nankai Rapit Limited Express Train to Nankai-Namba station, and it would be an easy 3-min walk to the hotel. The Nankai-Namba station has elevators and escalators, and it is practically just across the street from the hotel.
      As for depositing your luggage at the hotel, yes, most hotels in Japan allow same day storage before check-in and after check-out. They will usually just ask you what time within the day you are coming back to get your luggage.
      I hope I was able to answer your query. In case you haven't, I hope you can also consider subscribing to my channel for more useful travel videos. Thanks again! Enjoy your trip to Japan! :)

    Great video! Have you tried the hotel's luggage shipping system? Are they able to ship a luggage to a hotel in Tokyo?

    • @wheretonext1190
      @wheretonext1190  2 місяці тому

      Hi Tammy! Thank you for watching my video and for giving such positive feedback! I really appreciate it! With regards to your query, I did not use the hotel's luggage shipping system or Taqbin during our stay in this particular Sotetsu Fresa Inn hotel, but I have used it several times in other hotels and other Sotetsu Fresa Inns. Most hotels in Japan offer this kind of shipping service and so I am sure that this Sotetsu Fresa Inn Osaka-Namba has it as well. You just need to email both the originating hotel and the receiving hotel to confirm that they are able to ship/receive your luggage and that they will receive your payment as well when they ship. This is so because I had one experience where the hotel was willing to ship my luggage but they don't receive payments and so I had to make the payment via 7-11. Incidentally, most convenience stores like 7-11, Family Mart and Lawson can also ship luggages within Japan.
      I hope I was able to answer your query. In case you haven't, I hope you can also consider subscribing to my channel for more useful travel videos. Thanks again! I hope you are enjoying your day! :)

      Hi Quen! Thank you for watching my video and for giving such positive feedback! I really appreciate it! I wrote in n asked n the hotel staff replied that it would be better to take nipponbashi line. I watched your video n decided to book this hotel..so it is better to come out from main exit n head diagonally?

    • @wheretonext1190
      @wheretonext1190  12 днів тому

      Hi Alyce! Nice to hear from you again! With regards to your query, when you said Nipponbashi Line, I am not sure if you meant Nippombashi station or Sennichimae Line? In any case, I checked the hotel's website and the following are the listed access points.
      - A 2 minute walk from Exit 5 or one minute's walk from Exit 7 of Namba Station on the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line and Sennichimae Line [Escalator is located at Exit 5]
      - A 2 minute walk from Exit 5 or one minute's walk from Exit 7 of Osaka Namba Station on the Kintetsu Main Line [Escalator is located at Exit 5]
      - A 2 minute walk from Exit 31 of Namba Station on the Osaka Metro Yotsubashi Line
      - A 2 minute walk from the North Exit of Namba Station on the Nankai Main Line
      - A 5 minute walk from the South Exit of JR Namba Station to the east
      I am not sure if the hotel staff you talked to meant Exit 7 of Namba station which is just in front of the hotel. It is the nearest exit to the hotel but it doesn't have an elevator or escalator if you have luggage with you. Personally, for me, if you are coming from Kansai airport, the easiest way is to take the Rapi:t Train and arrive at Nankai Namba station. It is an easy 2 or 3-minute walk diagonally. You just need to cross the street and the hotel is there. Thereafter, if you are going sightseeing and you are not very particular with using the stairs, then you can use exit 7 of Namba station which is just in front of the hotel.
      I hope the above information helps in planning your trip! Enjoy! :)

      Hi Dat! Thank you for watching my video! With regards to your query, unfortunately, there is no onsen or public bath in this hotel. They also do not have bottled mineral water in the rooms for guests. Hi! Thank you for watching my video and for giving such positive feedback! I really appreciate it! With regards to your query, unfortunately, there is no such map in Japan, where the presence of escalators or elevators are indicated. You can be assured though that major stations like Tokyo station, Osaka station and Kyoto station, have elevators and escalators. If you already have your itinerary and hotels, what I suggest is, you could probably inquire from your hotels as to which exit in the nearest station has elevators.

    Hi, so coincident I have booked this hotel for my next year stay in osaka.
    May I know is there any nearby exit with the elevator from train station? Coz need to carry luggages.
    Another question, isit able to put and open 28 inch luggages?

    • @wheretonext1190
      @wheretonext1190  2 місяці тому

      Hi Carol! Thank you for watching my video! With regards to your queries, Nankai Namba station is just a 3-min walk from the hotel. It is just almost diagonally across the hotel so you would have no problems in walking to the hotel even with luggages. You can take the Rapi:t Limited Express train from Kansai Airport to Nankai Namba station. There are elevators and escalators there so it would just be easy even with luggages.
      As for the rooms, the size of the room would depend on the type of room you have booked. It may be tight but I think you can still open a 28-inch luggage by the doorway. You just have to make some adjustments in your movements, like if the luggage is open, then naturally, you cannot use the door to go in and out of the room. You can also open your luggage with one side resting on the wall (L-shape) to save some floor space.
      I hope I was able to answer your queries and help you in my own small way. In case you haven't, I hope you can also consider subscribing to my channel for more useful travel videos. Thanks again! I hope you are enjoying your day! :)
