    I'm so happy to have found your channel just now! I'm not a traveler but a kind of author and was looking for japanese hotel tours to get a feel of what's in there, what the atmosphere is like and wow, you provided!! I love how you really take your time to show all the little details and knickknacks of the rooms, take us through the hallways, look out of the windows and don't use any music or talking, just capturing the ambience. This is incredibly helpful, thank you so much for your work! <3

      Hi! Thank you for watching my video! With regards to your query, yes, the airport bus allows 2 pcs of luggage per person. However, as you said, the total weight should not be more than 30kgs. Meaning 2pcs of large luggage weighing maybe 15kgs each, or 1 large luggage weighing 20kgs and a carry-on luggage weighing 10kgs. I hope I was able to answer your query. In case you haven't, I hope you can also consider subscribing to my channel for more useful travel videos. Thanks again for watching! :)

      Hi! Thank you so much for watching my video and for appreciating my work! With regards to your query, yes, some supermarkets in Japan allow tax-free purchases. Please note though that not all items are eligible. As a rule, tax free items should not be consumed in Japan but brought to your home country. Therefore, items like food that should be consumed at once are not eligible for tax exemption. I hope I was able to answer your query. Hi! Thank you for watching my video! With regards to your query, as far as I remember, there is a control panel in the room that you can use to adjust the room temperature. However, please note though that depending on the season, some hotels completely shut off the air conditioning of all their rooms, or turn them into heaters. You can request for small electric fans from the reception if needed. I hope I was able to answer your query. Question. From Doton Plaza to Kansai Airport, can I buy bus tickets in advance? If I want the last trip (4pm), can buy it in Morning? Or do people really need to fall in line and wait for the bus? Thank you

    • @wheretonext1190
      @wheretonext1190 8 днів тому

      Hi! Thank you for watching my video! With regards to your query, yes, you can buy your bus tickets from the machine in the morning, as long as it is within the day of your trip. They do not allow buying tickets days or even a day in advance. Please keep in mind though that the seats are on a first-come, first-served basis, and so you still have to fall in line if you have a preference in the seats. Also, there is no time in the bus ticket. So essentially, you can buy the tickets in the morning and use them for any trip within the day. I hope I was able to answer your query. In case you haven't, I hope you can also consider subscribing to my channel for more useful travel videos. Thanks again for watching! :)

      @wheretonext1190 10 днів тому

      Hi Armi! Thank you so much for watching my video and for giving such positive feedback! I really appreciate it! With regards to your queries, for the air conditioner, as far as I remember, there is a control panel by the door to control the settings. Please note though, that depending on the season, some hotels shut their air conditioning off or turn them into heaters. Since the room I stayed in has a control panel, I am guessing that you can control your own settings. As for the cafe within the hotel, yes, you can have breakfast there. Hi Teddy! Thank you for watching my video! With regards to your query, you can purchase bus tickets at the ticket machines in the airport, both for OCAT and Doton Plaza. You can choose your destination when buying from the ticket machine. And yes, you can also buy round trip tickets there. Please note though that seats for these buses are first-come, first-served. There are no reserved seats and so even if you buy round trip tickets in advance, you still need to be there early enough if you want a good seat. If you choose to buy separate return tickets, there are bus ticket counters at OCAT. I hope I was able to answer your query. Hi! Nice to hear from you again! Yes, you are definitely correct! Except of course for capsule hotels and single rooms, couples can pretty much do anything in whichever hotel they choose to stay. By definition though, a love hotel is a type of short-stay hotel which incidentally, according to Wikipedia, originated from Osaka. Which is why when I saw the short-stay rates of this hotel posted by their entrance, I knew it was a love hotel. True enough, the hotel's website itself indicates that they are a couple's hotel. Interestingly though, if not for the sign, I feel like this hotel could pass as a regular themed business hotel.

      Hi Richie! Thank you for watching my video! With regards to your query, as mentioned in the video, our rate for this connecting room during our stay was 51,660 yen per night. Room rates vary depending on the type of room, how far in advance you made the booking, the season of your stay (whether peak or lean season) and the day of the week. Weekend rates are usually much higher, double or even triple the normal rate. For indicative rates, you may wish to check agoda.com as in my experience, they offer one of the best rates. Hi Chitapa! Thank you so much for watching my video and for appreciating my work! With regards to your query, yes you are correct. The two limousine bus stops I featured in this video have buses that travel between Kansai airport and Namba. The drop-off point is the same as the pick-up point. You can choose between the two bus stops, depending on where your hotel is in Namba. For your easy reference, you may refer to the following link for the timetable of the buses. www.kate.co.jp/en/timetable/detail/ON I hope I was able to help you in my own small way. Thanks for the video. I didn't get time to ride the Kyo-train last year but I hope to on a future visit. I used to live in Itami in the early 90s and ride the Hankyu trains everywhere to work in Osaka, Kobe and Kyoto. One of my work sites was at Kawaramachi station. It looks like the walls and platform of the platform area haven't been cleaned since that time over 30 years ago. I still love Hankyu though. Much classier trains than JR West.

      Hi Ellen! Thank you so much for watching my video and for giving such positive feedback! I really appreciate it! I am happy to know that my video has helped you plan your trip next month. With regards to your query, I remember staying at Hotel Sunroute Plaza in December of 2023, almost a year ago, when hotel prices in Japan were generally much lower. Hotel prices started increasing in March this year due to the weakening value of the yen against the dollar, among other reasons. But if it helps, hotel prices are generally lower during weekdays, specifically between Sun to Wed, except during holidays or special events. The rate also doubles or even triples during Saturdays. So if your stay includes a weekend, the total rate would seem a lot higher. I hope I was able to answer your query. In case you haven't, I hope you can also consider subscribing to my channel for more useful travel videos. Thanks again for watching! I hope you are having a nice day! :)

    Thanks for making this video! May I ask how much you paid for the round trip? It seems like you did not exit the station at Kyoto, so when you are back in Osaka, is it considered a one-way ticket fee?

    • @wheretonext1190
      @wheretonext1190 Місяць тому

      Hi Kath! Thank you for watching my video! With regards to your query, honestly, it made me smile (and happy) that you actually noticed what I did. :) Yes, I was in a hurry then so I did not go out in Kyoto anymore but once back in Osaka, I went to the station staff and told them that I just did a roundtrip without going out of Kyoto Kawaramachi station. The staff told me that she would have to deduct the fare minimum of 410 yen in my card. I told her that she could actually deduct twice the amount since I did reach Kyoto intentionally. So she got my IC card and deducted the roundtrip fare of 820 yen. So yeah, I guess depending on your reason and the discretion of the station staff, you can actually be charged just the one-way fee of 410 yen. I hope I was able to answer your query.
