    Reef Donkeys!!!! Nice cobia and a beautiful snapper. Those break-offs would have produced some monsters. Another great video!

    I used to fish in South Africa and I used a short piece of metal wire seperate from my normal line and fish weren't able to bite through it I think you are loosing too many fish biting through your line use swiffels to attach a piece of metal fishing line.Then atleast you won't loose the fish you should do that immediately after you lost the first big fish very frustrating to watch honestly and by the way i am a woman and I caught monsters like musselcracker a few bullsharks, grunter loads of big fish I caught in my life believe me in South African waters.

    How far out were you? My folks went out of dauphin island about 45 miles out just to get to a good size snapper. The water was so closer to where the ships are

    That snapper was a stunner. I’d be curious to know how you’re going to cook it up. There is something to be said for just plain old, stubborn, persistence. It pays off.

      One of these days, would you be willing to do a preparation/cooking video again? I like watching how you fillet and cook your catch, sir.
      Have an outstanding day Mr. Lawless

    Are there rules for separation from the ships? What if she starts moving and doesn't see you?

    • @TheLawlessTide
      @TheLawlessTide  2 місяці тому +1

      They are anchored at both ends. If the anchors are down they ain't moving.

      I agree, big fish I always put the butt of the rod in my gut and hold the rod above the reel, let the rod fight the fish and not you and your underarm….
