Nope. I think he just instinctively needs to move his hands in a strumming motion whilst on stage. Even when he's not even playing anything, which is certainly the case here.

Awesome beautiful instrument, but why on earth they didn’t add a Floyd Rose guitar bridge is beyond me. Is like saying let’s designing an expensive race car but shit we can’t include the appropriate race tires? Is like what 🤷🏻♂️???
Adding a Floyd Rose would totally change the sound of the guitar. It simply isn't going to sound like the sort of guitar that JM grew up loving. If you don't need the functionality of a Floyd you get a much more vintage sound out of a traditional bridge.

2:15 Ed grinning like crazy. Pure joy to be on stage with John. What respect.
That fricking guitar part before John goes into the solo is so funky Ed sounds great singing here
ikrr so funky
john proved that everyone is human at 1:45
Didn't even notice till you pointed it out. John played it off too well.
Haha I was about to comment this
just a borrowed note hahaha
@@jack.r.q lol ikr, he corrected it so quickly
no it's jazz
John's guitar...OMG! Ed's voice...OMG!
the last solo was the best ive heard so far
I agree
the audio is actually pretty good quality!
I'm so glad these two work together. Grew up on both their songs.
John's vocals fit Belief. Of course , John wrote and sang belief.
Ed has great voice, John has a very good voice but a guitar God.
John Mayer was born with a silver guitar in his mouth! In this case sheer brilliance!
Holy shit . How is this not a DVD show or something ? Thank you for the upload !
Need thinking out loud!
They did do it together after this song funnily enough
I can’t keep away from this it’s 4cking SICK
2 Guitars found the instruments to rule them all.
2 geniuses!

This is a perfect recording
this could be the greatest thing Ive ever heard
That part that JM player at 1:18 is new, and amazing!
Not new, still amazing tho ua-cam.com/video/EoHWCZ5BmTU/v-deo.html
Listen closely on the record you’ll hear it in the second verse, right headphone
why no one is putting lights on the first solo. It was freaking clean
Totally killing that slide
Mayer és Sheeran fantasztikusan együtt vannak a ritmusban..!!!! John Myer gitárszólója zseniális....!
Love John love Ed love the solo, the solo before John is so emotional to me love John love this people
that solo is just gorgeous
The solo played before JM.... Camera should be focused on that guy.... He just nailed it 🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻
That guy is Isaiah Sharkey, yo I should check him out he does some crazy shit
SICK!!!! and I appreciate you giving full credit to the band, what a phenomenal group of people!
Ed is so sick in his vocals
Thanks for sharing! jM live concerts are so satisfying
