These XPAG engines would have been a great hot rod engine in England in the late forties to early sixties. It just needs an eight port Crossflow head, Shorrock supercharger, Wal Phillips fuel injection and headers. Shame nobody stuck one in a Ford Pop or Austin 7.

Plenty of them were blown back in the day, but it tended to be Shorrock or Wade blowers, which I'm pretty sure were Roots type anyway, so it makes sense - although they tended to be mounted lower down. The modern Eaton is a fitting tribute!

Hot ticket, I just installed a holley super sniper EFI closed loop on my 74' spitfire WOW starts and runs like a new car , no choke, pumping the peddle, just turn the key and your off. Plug and play Holley makes it simple

That's too bad. The TC pretty much gave birth to American sports cars as they evolved. TC's are a fantastic car to own and drive, they are as bare bones as you could ask for. A true driver's car.

Always had seen the late 60 and 70's MG's but first time I've seen an earlier year MG. Not being from England don't know the history of them or how long they been around.
