I have been watching you 67 Camaro series and am loving it. I am in the same phase with my 67 firebird on my channel. The Firebird is WAY easier BTW so there is that. but one thing I learned that helped me a lot on the hood alignment was that if I removed the upper cowl cover in the back and loosened the hood to hinge bolts. Put the hood down and you can move it around nicely to get it right where you want it, then tighten the rear hood to hinge bolts without lifting the hood. Its a little tight but I was able to get in there with a box end ratchet wrench and it saved me a ton of time. Your front upper valance is the constraining point and the upper cowl cover is very easy to move to match the hood once you are happy with the front. Hope this helps.
