I can't believe how much this channel is slept on. Definitely one of the top all around car channels on UA-cam. Should be over 1 million subs easy. Keep up the awesome work Shawn!
I feel like this channel is for the mature car enthusiast who aren't entertained by clapped out infinites or Nissan 350z's lol. I respect all builds but these guys do hold a higher standard, and I'm not talking financially either.
Thank you! Little by little we’re growing it. Maybe we should start shooting street takeovers or modern luxury brand vehicles and we’d grow faster lol!
This build is like one of those cracks at "what is the best drivers car for enjoyment and a deep auto enthusiast".... and hit it right out the park! Clapping - Worth clapping for. Tasteful, functional, thoughtful, easy interface, classis style.
When he said he swapped the cams out i yelled cam and immediately thought of that one video where the guy was like "its ma'am " 😂 clean car i love it! Can't wait to start on mine
Beautiful car and it sounds fantastic!!! I love the simplicity of this build. When it comes to fun, usable horsepower for the streets, I too think that 500 - 600 at the crank is plenty for me, especially since none of my fun cars have traction control. With THAT said, what planet is this guy from?!?! Doood said the LS came out around 2014 and that's when LS swaps really kicked off. That is WAAAAAAY wrong! People were doing LS swaps way back in 1997 when it was first introduced.
Mad respect to Mike for this build. I love the restraint he went to on the body in keeping it mostly classic 60s. The fact that this is a show car and still drives it like you should, is truly awesome. I love it and I'm a Ford guy.
I love it !!! Mike is one talented dude. Perfect all around car. I love that he built the car in his garage. 500 to the wheels is all you need. Awesome car
I definitely agree with his thought process on built the car..If you want to just have a good all motor setup and drive then his process work..All motor, good suspension and brakes..😎👍🏽🏁
In a rear drive application 500-600 at the tire with a wide sticky tire will require a killer chassis add a man-well trans mixer😮💨, that's a lot of work buuuut makes for a very dynamic vehicle. I'm currently working on a dodge charger AWD hemi pursuit. Goal is to have 500+ lbft at all 4 wheels and keep it " jump in and drive " . I will always love the regular guy builds , that said you get a guy that knows what to do but has the money for the " good parts " you will end up with a fantastic build. I LOVE that the owner doesn't let dust collect on this . Respect for using this what it's built for✌️🤙🤌🙏
Mike ,i hope your reading this comment ,mate you have the most beautiful Camaro its just perfect ,the colour the wheels the driveline the lot ,much love and respect from Australia and damm you did it near all yourself ,outstanding, its Stropeworthy
Agreed, anything more kinda a waste just for some playing. Now if you're drag racing every weekend then sure, different story. For a daily that can have a little fun at a redlight or getting on the highway every now an then? 400-600 is perfect. Reliable, plenty of fun, nothing ridiculous, tons of drivability, etc.
Very true yeah. Ive personally got 450 rwhp in my Holden Commodore, basically the same motor and iam quite happy with but will most likely do a few things to get to 500 one of these days
Man you have one of the best shows. No other like it. AWESOME! That Camaro is very nice & built the way it should be. That color in my mind will never go outdated.
What a great looking car!!!!! Love everything about this thing! Interior looks awesome. Crazy that the build is 10 years old. Looks like it was finished this year. Keep up the great videos! I watch every single one.
I just commented on this on the IG page.....I compared it to the 911 of a Camaro ....this car is so friggin beautiful!!!! I have lots of favorites on your channel....this one is right up there in the top 5. AWESOME car Mike....good name! (same) 👊 Also....67 = Better Off Dead baby!
I've got a 1967 Camaro that I've been planning on doing a restomod rebuild to. After watching this video I know what I'm going to do to it. This is fantastic.
Well done for keeping the bodywork as is without swelling . Drip rail included . No unnecessary stripes here, just the right choice of color . For nickpicking : not a big fan of the silver grommets and prefers a gear lever planted directly on the carpet without any console around all on beautiful graphite gray wide steelies with dish hub cap.
The old square body Chevelle frame fits under these cars perfectly with a little modification a solid frame stiffens considerably along with roll bar and traction bars I built one for myself
Olivia Newton John? Lmao. Well it coulda been worse, Shawn. You coulda said ABBA. I love this car and the choices he made throughout, especially to keep it mechanical.
Dude you share some kick ass cars and some of the best are camaros. I have a 63 slammed vw beetle with a 1987 Porsche 911 turbo engine. I wanted to keep the stock engine but my mate called me and said he had a 911 come into his auto wrecker yard here in Australia and said he wanted a vw engine for his vw bus and he wwpuld straight swapped the untested Porsche engine. The vw engine had been overhauled before I bought it so I knew it ran. Long story short I've done a ground up restomod built of the car and installed will wood disc brakes and vintage air air-conditioning. The interior I've gone for the high gloss paint look with vinayl pads instead of carpet and they are held down with billet aluminium frames and countersunk stainless screws. Behind the rear seats is extra heat and sound deadening. I installed power windows and it rides on custom air bags made by an Australian company. Only color I wanted was article white and nardo gray. The front hood has white scallops with purple pinstripe edging its got a white all metal sunvisor and all the chrome has been redone. Its also got a custom push start button that looks like a stock item my mate made for me. The power windows are operated by pushing up or down on stock billet looking handles. The build took me 5 years in between other builds and I haven't had it on the dyno yet, but it being a 3.3L engine with a slightly larger turbo I'd say it would make around 380-390bhp. It gets down and boogies that's for sure and the engine note from the stainless exhaust is sensational. I have done the build in memorial to my late father who passed away not long after I took him for a drive in it. First time I saw him shed a tear when I showed him the Porsche engine. As Porsche was his favorite car ever. I sure miss him a lot and the car won't ever be sold and I built a single garage for it and all of the car memorabilia that my dad owned and couldn't display as my parents house wasn't big enough. The car gets driven on sunny weekends only and the cost of the build was a lot especially the gorgeous paint. But every cent and late night working on it was worth it.
Not another ‘67 Camaro! No problem here. Love them!
I prefer second Gen Camaros but a well built first Gen is never a bad thing.
Another perfect example of "Less is More". He nailed the look.
And he nailed the drivability as well
Absolutely beautiful car. This channel is always killing it
Thank you. Definitely a cool driver car
@@AutotopiaLA Is the owner ever planning on selling it? I would love to gift this to my boyfriend for his birthday

The Porsche RS center caps and the RS 6.2 on the rocker ... 100% a Porsche fan !
Looks corny
Wow bench and three on the column ........never seen.......................like the paint
500 whp is plenty
Love what he did here
I can't get myself to modernize my 67 this much, but I absolutely love this car! Great job to the builder and thanks for documenting it so well.

You’d have to ask Mike about his timing reference but sure is a cool drivers car
Mad respect to Mike for this build. I love the restraint he went to on the body in keeping it mostly classic 60s. The fact that this is a show car and still drives it like you should, is truly awesome. I love it and I'm a Ford guy.
My favorite kind of build is this. Looks, sounds and drives great!
Always something amazing on this channel. And the humble vibes. Love it! Not sure how you guys do it but you do.

This Color is Huge! It's popping up on all sorts of cars new and old... Nice
Nice!
I was hooked once I saw the color! Can’t believe how old the paint is and it still looks this good.
10 years old and still looks great!
i am passionate abot the meticulous detailing of that car... sweet, parts and upgrades...
Perfect build, absolutely usable and easy to see the difference versus someone chasing dyno numbers
Oh man this is one very cool '67. Thanks!
For me, that color will never get old!
Seems to never get old
So so clean.... everything just right.
Clean. Cool car. Cool guy. 18" wheels are perfect for this generation of Camaro!👍
Agreed. Any bigger they start looking a bit odd
400HP to 600HP in a street car is all you really need.
Hard to hook more on the st whats the point,,,,agree
Say it louder for the people in the back.

I have a 1968 Camaro with a factory bench seat and colom shift with a 327. Been in the family for 40+ years.
