Not worth, I have the elite 2 and I've seen many others whose rb and lb buttons stop working after 6 months. Lucky me my rb button stopped working within just 2 months and I've never dropped it before. Dog shit controller.

I would just like to add my experience with the controller , i 've had it for more than a year now and it's beyond great...it's incredible! I just came from another video from a guy that dissed powerA controllers all together, saying that they are only cheap knock-offs of the official xbox one controllers , at best. Now, i don't have a very big experience with PowerA controllers, but for this one, this is simply NOT true. The finish of the Spectra is incredible at the touch. . I have both an official xboxOne controller and this, and the only time i prefer to play with the official is only when i play forza games, due to the haptic triggers, which imo is possibly the only factor that beats the spectra. And if you are worried about the plague of non-official, cheaper controllers that is stick-drifting, here is a tip : Always purchase controller that have extra mappable buttons such as the spectra, and assign the left and right stick presses to them straight away. I found out over the years that if you don;t press the stick buttons , you can delay or even avoid stick drifting for a very long time. My Spectra works like the first day that i bought it . I couldn't be happier!
If anyone is looking to buy these, I've gone with power A for awhile. They feel good and are cheaper than the official xbox controller, but I've gone through 2 and have to buy a third. I'd say these controllers last about 5 years from my experience. Just something to think about.
I love this controller looks, and feels great on top of being affordable. I’ve also found the extra back buttons a lot easier to use than the paddles, and have incorporated them fully into my games.
Do not recommend controller I had it and it broke very fast the cord doesn’t do any of that it just turns off randomly and you probably won’t use the leds and the back buttons broke
my only issue with matte finish on controllers is that it smudges easily from your hand sweat, and you can even see that in some of the close-ups in this video if you look closely. You have to clean it pretty regularly. I know this is a nit pick, but it is kind of annoying nonetheless.
Had for about 3 months and the right trigger lock wouldn’t work and only stayed on the lowest level no matter what one I switched it to. Tried pushing it down and a piece broke and I could hear it if I shook the controller. After that the right trigger was always toggled on and would not stop. Great controller just be mindful of that.
Have 3 of these PowerA controllers and love this all and this Spectra is going to be added to the collection next. I have the basic green camo, the enhanced brushed steel and I have the white Fusion Pro which is amazing. For the prices these controllers are excellent and after all the issues I seen with the Microsoft Elite controller I think I'll stick with these. Use mine on PC. Edit, have subbed, great video, clear, no silly over the top music and wasn't recorded in your kitchen lol
And yea some people might like the button more than the paddles of the elite controller amd the end of the day is all about preference and how u feel woth the controller
I got mine this afternoon and i'm well impressed. PDP won't be getting any more business from me. I paid less for the PowerA yet the build quality is far better than the PDP controller its replacing. The colours on the powerA are proper cool.
K I’ve had this controller for about 4 months so I’ll describe my experience Trigger locks: great LEDs: triple your edit speed Abxy are quite firm Shoulder are nice and quiet About two weeks ago my thumb sticks started squeaking and now it’s really annoying sometimes repeatedly pressing the sticks becomes uncomfortable because of the grip style. Back buttons: great and easy to use Now, I’ve seen some comments about stick drift, I personally haven’t had any but pressing my right stick no longer gives any input which means I can no longer crouch in many games and if you ask me, crouching is quite a vital mechanic in a lot of games Now overall I think its a good controller but will have to be replaced quite often with medium to heavy use EDIT: headphone jack works fine for audio but makes the mic extremely quiet to the point where I have to plug my headset into a different controller
I've read the mic input on PowerA Xbox controllers using the 3.5mm plug is quiet(low sound output for love use). Can you confirm this or please give your opinion😃
Jonathan Gramling I have the cheap basic $20 one and have this problem. Reviews of the fusion and spectra haven’t mentioned anything about this issue so I’m also curious

Check the Xbox settings. The first time I started my Xbox after hooking up this controller, my Xbox chat settings had changed to "Reduce the volume of other sounds by 80% and the game sounds were way too low" I changed that back to "Do Nothing" and the sound was fine. I updated the firmware as soon as I took it out of the box and have zero audio issues other than those Xbox settings changing the first time I fired it up. After I adjusted them, it's been fine. My buddies I play with all say I sound fine on chat too.
Great video I've had the normal power a controller and the power a enhanced controller and they were both great controllers can't wait to try out this controller for fpsg
The controllers are faulty! DO NOT BUY. I've had 2 with the same issue and many are reporting the same. They are comfortable and brilliant for a couple of weeks then the drift happens. Fault appears to be with the right stick. Aiming in Modern Warfare will fly up or down (right stick). What is weird is this only happens when using the left stick. Moving left will send the aim down and moving right will aim up so forget trying to aim while moving. Took the first one apart to air blast it. Tried changing the deadzone settings. Nothing worked. Bought a second and exactly the same issue after a couple of weeks. Seems like a manufacturing/design fault with them.
I didn't have the spectra version but I had another by powera and i agree with you. My controller worked really wekk the first ouple of weeks, but it started to decline. Around my joysticks if i did a circle with them, then you could feel it grinding on the sides. Also, it drifts a lot like you said.
@@dakodablack7312 "map" is another word for "assign" The paddles on the back can be easily programmed to act as any button on the front (or top) of the controller.
How do you unplug the cord from the controller? I've tried pushing the two buttons on the wire while pulling but nothing worked. It's still stuck in the controller, but I was hoping to unplug it to transport it in two pieces in the original packaging
Well, it is hard and you gotta be strong because the cable is securely in place. Just push the 2 buttons, and while holding it just be as strong as possible and pull the cable out.
Hey does your have any left stick drift also idk how to take out the main power cord connected to the controller. I think you have to squeeze the sides of the wire but it doesn't feel like they push in but maybe my hands are too weak.
Miguel B it’s really nice, kinda heavy in the best way possible, quality is good for sure not as good as an elite. I would like to mention that the audio is messed up but with an easy update on UA-cam works perfectly. I would recommend getting 2 year warranty just in case. Overall an amazing controller works perfectly.
One more thing that really like I don’t know it was only mine. The joysticks are the best, smooth, and when I put the dead one on the lowest no drift at all.

I though I was just bad at taking care of my things so I bought a new one, that one broke too and I treated it like a baby, third one to be sure, broke again, it was the headset jack THREE times, so it’s #1 controller for PC but not the best for XBOX unless you have a wireless headset I wouldn’t get it, it will break within a month or two but on PC.... I have the razer wolverine which I prefer way more than any competitive controller on the market I always use to get the elite series 2 and it always breaks
All really the fusion pro has more is 4 paddles instead of 2 buttons, different height analog sticks and a removable face plate- no idea what use for that. Also minus the lights. I would say this would do just fine unless you really need the extra 2 extra buttons.
Gravelord Nito Very, Very Good. Pros: trigger stoppers, two paddles, rgb, great build, excellent all around. Cons: bumpers(RB and LB) are a bit mushy but I got used to them, Right Bumper requires more force to press now then when I got it. I could have dropped it or I could have used it so much that it just got harder to press. I just bought this controller. Feels great but I have 2 issues: 1. Edge close to the left trigger where 2 sides of the housing are connecting is not properly aligned and has sharp piece sticking out. Can be filed down easily with a bit of sand paper...but still. 2. So called advanced gaming button: I don't really see a point in assigning existing buttons to a different button. I thought it would be possible to assign to it button combinations. Other than that, amazing value for the price.
Question for anyone who knows the info to answer, I’ve had this controller for about a month really enjoyed the lights, trigger stoppers and the back buttons but it just stopped working, one day I was playing siege and it stopped just completely turned off I took it apart and looked inside everything is tight in place nothings lose or out of place, the wire is also fine tried it with my brothers controller still powered it up, never had good around it especially liquids, so wtf happened to it
I have both this one and the powerA fusion pro. The paddles on the back of that one aren’t as sturdy so I prefer the elite controller. Other than that I really enjoy the advanced gaming features.
Hi, great video but one thing can you tell me what that colour changing item is on the desk behind you is I've tried to look at previous bids can't find can you help me please?
If ur reading this and thinking about buying, it’s true... do not buy one. I thought it was all good till you get to the thumbsticks and they’re horrendously cheaply made.. the stick drift happens after a day of use from a good gamer. I put inferno Kontrolfreeks on and although they work, the analogs from power a are so stiff yet loose. It’s weird. Buy the elite series 1 if the series 2 is too expensive :)
Is there any built in deadzone, because that's what ruined most of these controllers for me having to push the analog stick more then on the original to move
Hey so I have the series S/X version and I love it! But there’s been something that’s started happening recently. The LEDs keep strobing (in a similar pattern to the centre light when changing colour) and won’t stop even after setting the colours. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Having a problem with my controller I love it but one day it started acting weird it kinda turned off and when it turned back on my mic no longer has volume it works on my other controller so I don’t understand any help?
I got this and i pulled it out of my xbox then plugged it back in and now it's not working. And also how do you disconnect the micro usb from the controller?

Omg yes please I’ve tried everything and my led lights are only on green nothing else😐
@@way2turntforyou653 sameeee
Yo sam eguys did u ever figure this out just got mine today and the led button either turns them off or it stays green..
This is the best controller I've ever had I'm sure the $80 one is even better
Question for anyone who knows the info to answer, I’ve had this controller for about a month really enjoyed the lights, trigger stoppers and the back buttons but it just stopped working, one day I was playing siege and it stopped just completely turned off I took it apart and looked inside everything is tight in place nothings lose or out of place, the wire is also fine tried it with my brothers controller still powered it up, never had good around it especially liquids, so wtf happened to it
Work out what happened?
Change your cables .
Helps a lot thanks
Question: are the buttons and anolog sticks sturdy and well made?
yes just like a xbox one controller lol
I have both this one and the powerA fusion pro. The paddles on the back of that one aren’t as sturdy so I prefer the elite controller. Other than that I really enjoy the advanced gaming features.
Wish it was available in my country 😩
You can buy on eBay am in Africa n I have it bought it on eBay
If I were to use the wire fur this controller would it work on the 80$ one with real pádeles cause my wire broke but the controller is still good
Thank you so much
Got sick of Microsoft's shitty controllers constantly breaking on me, so I copped one of these. Like it so far.
Looks like it has a lot of nice features. Does it have vibration?
Yes, they even have 2 kind of vibration!
I'm just one for £10 on ebay I'm so hyped
Hi, great video but one thing can you tell me what that colour changing item is on the desk behind you is I've tried to look at previous bids can't find can you help me please?
Thank! The keyboard is the Drop ALT: ua-cam.com/video/gY3KnhBCD4Q/v-deo.html
I wish that you would actually DEMONSTRATE how to change the colors.
My yellow button doesn't light up yellow nor does it change 5 different shades. It looks orange. Same with red. It doesn't change 5 different shades.
can u put the link on where to buy it please inneed it for a birthday gift thanks it would save me thanks
How do you tke out the wire which comes with the controller
i have a question do i have to have it connected 24/7 or can i remove cable to use controller?
this is wired only, won't work without cable.
Wired is best less input lag .
for some reason mine when held down doesnt flash at all to be programmed
Can you use any charger that fit in the controller to play the game
No
Do the bumpers break
If ur reading this and thinking about buying, it’s true... do not buy one. I thought it was all good till you get to the thumbsticks and they’re horrendously cheaply made.. the stick drift happens after a day of use from a good gamer. I put inferno Kontrolfreeks on and although they work, the analogs from power a are so stiff yet loose. It’s weird. Buy the elite series 1 if the series 2 is too expensive :)
How long did it take for the controller to arrive?
47 days
Jareds Dad your lying

Is there any built in deadzone, because that's what ruined most of these controllers for me having to push the analog stick more then on the original to move
Most responsive controller I've used in awhile tbh
It's actually 110 dollars not 40 dollars, considering the motherboard is a bit different than the others.
It is currently $40 USD on Amazon and at Walmart.
It feels well built because of two fishing sinkers they put in it. 😂 I removed them from my fusion or the other day.
Lol that's just clever tactic tbh
1.30 - how does one get the smooth automatic transitions with all the colours?
I can’t get my wire out the controller
No built in deadzone?
Hi! How do I take out the charging cable?
Thadt what im thinking
Clips on the side maybe
how did it hold up, because i have had experiences with PowerA Controllers lasting very long
Wish you could take the top of the controller and edit the sticks like the other controller
Hey so I have the series S/X version and I love it! But there’s been something that’s started happening recently. The LEDs keep strobing (in a similar pattern to the centre light when changing colour) and won’t stop even after setting the colours. Does anyone know how to fix this?
i have the spectra infinity and it's great
Having a problem with my controller I love it but one day it started acting weird it kinda turned off and when it turned back on my mic no longer has volume it works on my other controller so I don’t understand any help?
When you map the extra buttons , let's say using the A button... Does that make the A button useless afterwards? Or do both buttons work as A now?
In that example, both buttons would work as A
im here because my order for the fps strike pack from collective minds keeps going wrong
bhop
Don’t buy them they break to easy
Seriously don’t buy them I broke 2 in the span of 2 weeks
I got this and i pulled it out of my xbox then plugged it back in and now it's not working. And also how do you disconnect the micro usb from the controller?
Did you ever get it to work?
Anyone knows how to reset calibration with the sticks back to default for Xbox series x
Will the paddles map to any buttons or only certain ones?
