  • Damsel nymph fly tying video instructions by Ruben Martin
... another insect order Odonata common in the diet of trout in areas of abundant aquatic vegetation, belong to sub Damsel Zigoptera order , known as Damselfly .
While there are larvae or nymphs of this sub order to have a considerable size in which cases are usually very dark brown , usually are nymphs are smaller than their cousins, the Dragon Fly, and the most common color is olive green yellowish olive green .
A feature of importance for the fisherman is that these nymphs swim waving his body, making it necessary that imitations exhibit good flexibility in the abdomen which creates a more natural movement. By owning your weight shifted to the front of the fly it generates a good effect of swimming while being collected and continuous with very short jerks.
