Ah thank you for your suggestion. I know there are good places in Malaysia and I know there are beautiful beaches in Malaysia and I visited them already. But that's actually often what a lot of Malaysian people think as precious but "to foreigners' viewpoint", there are a lot of beautiful beaches or mountains all over South East Asia, so I don't have to go to Malaysia to enjoy beaches or mountains (mountains or beaches do NOT make Malaysia "unique" or "special". My whole point and the most important point is "that dynamic diversity" Malaysian people normally don't pay attention to but foreigners find extremely interesting :)
I don't agree with a few things, Malay foods isn't from Indonesia, we used to be the same country so of coz we will share cultures, some foods originate from the Malays(Nasi Lemak, Nasi Dagang etc.) some foods from Indonesia(rendang, nasi ambeng, ayam penyet) and cuisines and out of the 4 countries, Singapore is the worst in terms of varieties and taste, so I don't get why Singapore get higher points than indonesia and Thailand, which have far better foods and varieties.
Maybe from the aspect of cleanliness and comfortable dining place. I am Malaysian but even the most humble Singapore foodcourt looks cleaner and presentable. Tastewise, since he is Japanese, maybe Singaporean way of cooking is more suitable to him.
Thank you for correcting the wrong part of my information 😉 My score is NOT based on how good /tasty the food is. It is based on HOW MUCH EASILY POSSBILE TO DIFFERENCIATE each from from other ethnicity's food. Simply speaking, all food including Japanese and Singaporean food are great to me personally. Malaysian food is great, but even more than that, the more important point for me, a foreigner, that DYNAMIC FORM OF DIVERSITY of Malaysia. Anyway, thank you so much for sharing your feedback 😊
We are disappointed that Indonesia is said to claim their food for example "Rendang" whereas this food has existed for a long time in Malaya before Malaysia
Actually , races and ethnicities are kinda different ,where races are immigrants from other countries (malay, chinese, indian, portuguese, dutch, british and etc) and ethnicities are those who living there since in the beginning(kadazan, iban, dusun, murut ,orang asli and etc). Most of western malay malaysian are the descendant from Sumatera,Indonesia ,but while most of the malay from eastern malaysians are consider as an ethnic rather than a race.
Malay and Indonesia are actually the same root eventought theres plenty of sub ethnicities, so we share plenty of similar foods, culturals and manners...

Going eastward and Borneo side, i can assure you--immediately, you will find what Singapore lacks. Not hating on the country though, but i aint spending my dime there, sorry. Not gonna lie though, Thailand and Indonesia is fire. Good people. and even better if you know the local language.
I like the way you comment. You have respect to the people of your neighboring countries :) Yeah, Sabah is a place I want to visit. One of my Iban friends invited me for their Iban festival around May a few years back, but at that time, I could not make it, so especially when there is some special event, I'd like to visit Sabah. I enjoyed picking rambutans from low rambutan trees etc. Thank you for your comment :)
The other countries that you have compared to Malaysia are not quite familiar to me. However, I believe that your assessment is quite reasonable, particularly in regards to receiving visitors of other countries. Malaysians are often proud of their homes and extend a very warm welcome to guests. So, don't be afraid to make friends with Malaysians since we are delighted to win over foreigners to our country.
From this video, I hope you don't lose friends in Singapore, Indonesia or Thailand 🙁 but of course, your selection is very, very subjective, as you repeatedly said. It's interesting that as a foreigner, you are willing to stay in your friends' houses. Sometimes, for me, to stay in my relative's house can also feel uneasy. Different people, different way of looking at things, I guess.
Don't worry. I showed this video already to my friends in all those countries and they are still my friends. They understand what I mean and I didn't mean those countries are bad, and they know I like or love their countries as I mentioned in my video, too. This video is based on what I really like about Malaysia and whenever I change the point I focus on, the evaluation changes. When it comes to cleanliness, no countries in these four countries can beat Singapore (I guess you are from Singapore). When it comes to economy, Singapore is the strongest and GDP per capita is much higher than Japan as well. When it comes to technology, Singapore is much better than Japan as well. I also introduced those facts in my other videos and to me, those things are true to me.
Welcome to our beautiful country. It's a place free from nature calamities like taifon, earthquake, heatwave except occasionally with some areas with low lying areas
For Japanese people who can speak English or Malay, Malaysia is a very convenient place. Indonesia is good, too but for me karna saya tidak bisa bahasa Indonesia bagus, it is difficult to move around Indonesia. Right now, the new MRT was constructed in JKT, so on my next visit to JKT, I will have a different impression. I love nasi goreng seafood of Solaria. I love Indonesian shopping malls, too especially Plaza Indonesia, which looks so luxurious.
I'm sorry, Sir. But the Red-white flag you showed in this video is Monaco's one, not Indonesian one. The main distinctive difference is the size/dimension
What is meaning beautiful country? Is it because of a lot of skyscraper buildings, beaches, jungle & mountain, etc?? or good & affordable foods or nightlife ??? What my friends said... kindness people/society which is so speechless feeling in our heart regardless where countries they are.
I think Indonesian and Thai people are also very friendly and welcoming towards foreigners/outsiders but unfortunately the language barrier is and always will be an issue.
Very true. But I am not talking about how much people are good because there is no difference at the point in all these countries to me. And yes, the language is the problem and as you know, we Japanese have the same problem (the language problem), so the score I added in this video to Japan is low at the point.
You must have only been to Indonesia once, because if you go to Indonesia often, you will know that Indonesia has the most regional food compared to the countries you mentioned, and Indonesians according to the survey are the most generous people in the world, even though Indonesians are not very fluent in speaking english but they usually still answer and help as much as they can do and Indonesia is a country with the most ethnicities and is one of the most diverse countries in the world
Don't be too much proud of your own country and push your subjective view to other people, haha. If you are generous as you said, please generously accept my personal viewpoint :) I know good things about Indonesia, but when it comes to tourism, why only Bali (and recently Lombok) can receive tourists(please say things based on the data if you want to make a persuasive statement - you think Indonesia is great is nothing to me and all other foreigners). Even Jakarta receives mainly business foreigners based on Indonesia government statistics. Indonesian people are all generally so nice, but people in all over the world is generally nice unless they are bad people. That's nothing special. If you want to show off Indonesia, make your own presentation. Make your own UA-cam channel :)
You said why only Bali and Lombok accept tourists because Indonesia is very wide and there are many better tourist attractions than Lombok and Bali, but they are not famous so foreign tourists are rarely visited, for example Komodo Island, Bunaken, Raja Ampat, Bromo National Park. I accept your opinion I'm just telling you that Indonesia's tourism places are not only Bali, Jakarta or Lombok but many places with ethnic, cultural and regional food diversity so that you can make a more objective assessment

I've been living in the UK for many decades now and I still hold my Malaysian passport because that's my country of birth and like you said in the many reasons why you love Malaysia, they apply equally to me and more, my family members are all in Malaysia.
I see. I also love the UK because I lived there before as a student. At that time, I met a lot of Malaysian students.
When I saw a Malaysian girl during my study over there, she suddenly began to speak mandarin with a Taiwanese student and it extremely surprised me.
Do you know why? She was actually a Chinese Malaysian. But before her, I only saw Malay people from Malaysia. They all spoke Malay as their mother tongue. So I thought they were Malaysian people. I've been to so many countries before the UK, but all the countries I had been to had one language, one country and didn't know about the social structure of Malaysia where different ethnicity spoke different language though mandarin is a bit artificial language to replace different ethnicity language such as Hakka, Hokken etc.
Do you usually go back to Malaysia during cny to see your family back home?

I would like one more item to your list of valuation. - places to visit eg beaches, mountains etc etc. Im sure, Singapore will get less number in this valuation category compare to Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand.

Tak habis2 otak zaman batu ni
Maybe from the aspect of cleanliness and comfortable dining place. I am Malaysian but even the most humble Singapore foodcourt looks cleaner and presentable. Tastewise, since he is Japanese, maybe Singaporean way of cooking is more suitable to him.
Thank you for correcting the wrong part of my information 😉
My score is NOT based on how good /tasty the food is.
Anyway, thank you so much for sharing your feedback 😊

you should now try to head east of Malaysia and also visit borneo side of Malaysia. I recommend Sabah a truly lost world, although of course Sarawak is also a very good place to visit. there are more ethnicities in Malaysia than the major three. you will find them there and many of them speak english too.
and you should not forget to visit more rural and natural floral areas like Pahang, Terengganu and Kelantan.
Going eastward and Borneo side, i can assure you--immediately, you will find what Singapore lacks. Not hating on the country though, but i aint spending my dime there, sorry.
Not gonna lie though, Thailand and Indonesia is fire. Good people. and even better if you know the local language.

Thanks💖

What is meaning beautiful country? Is it because of a lot of skyscraper buildings, beaches, jungle & mountain, etc?? or good & affordable foods or nightlife ??? What my friends said... kindness people/society which is so speechless feeling in our heart regardless where countries they are.
What is your point of saying that on my video? Are you just sharing what you want to say?
I think Indonesian and Thai people are also very friendly and welcoming towards foreigners/outsiders but unfortunately the language barrier is and always will be an issue.
Very true. But I am not talking about how much people are good because there is no difference at the point in all these countries to me. And yes, the language is the problem and as you know, we Japanese have the same problem (the language problem), so the score I added in this video to Japan is low at the point.

I know good things about Indonesia, but when it comes to tourism, why only Bali (and recently Lombok) can receive tourists(please say things based on the data if you want to make a persuasive statement - you think Indonesia is great is nothing to me and all other foreigners).
@@candralegend4965 On business, if something is not recognized, it is as same as it has no value. So, marketing is important. I heard there was(were) some extremely great Indonesian person(people) made the most of the nature of Bali and made great marketing, so Bali became that famous. Whatever assets someone has, if the assets are not used properly, no value.
I know all those tourist places in Indonesia but I will not go. If you have a foreigner's viewpoint, you can know why (it's not only because those places are not famous). That's my point.
In fact, the Indonesian food I love the most is Solaria's nasi goreng seafood. My Indonesian friends in Jakarta area, Bandung, Yogjakarta, other places always bring me to good local ethnicity restaurants(there were all so good of course though), but somehow, my favorite restaurant is Solaria. Or I go to Plaza Indonesia and visit nice restaurants there.

Malaysia's foods sometimes similar to Indonesian'd because all the neighbouring countries were under Malay Empire once long time ago before western colonies break and devided it and became different countries like right now.. literally they are Malay foods authenticity and originally..👍 🇲🇾✌️

Just wondering whether safety is an important factor for you because it isn't included in the chart.
Thanks for honesty
I'm glad you liked my video!
@@tetsuyathejapanesefactsreporte millions must like honesty you talked about my country
Overall, the video is good. But pardon me, you should be more careful when making a statement, specifically at 4:30 where you directly state that Malay foods are from Indonesia. Now that's not only false, but is also taboo for you to say.
Malay people are people of their own, there are foods that are available in both countries but there are tonnes more that are unique to the respective country.
Malay does not originate from Indonesia. We are not migrants here. We are as native as the Yamatos are in Japan.
Thanks for your comment.
@@tetsuyathejapanesefactsreporte you are welcome ^^
Malaysia is a peaceful country, l love Johor city 🌸✨💖👍
