Blitz is one that has frustrated me all year. Not necessarily a dig a Blitz. I've been trying to work out if he's massively out of form. Or, if it's a role thing that the club have designed for him. I just haven't been able to grasp which it is...either way, would love to see him back to peak 2022. But maybe that is asking too much 😂.

If Geelong didn’t catch the Bloods off the bye it would have been a 10+ goal trashing. Sydney gave you a 6 goal start and then taught the slow old Cats a lesson … 🎉

Would have loved to pinch this one but their midfield is way good. Give our midfield 2 more seasons and we need to recruit a solid free agent and I think we will be able to contend for longer. Part of me thinks Geelong is secretly rebuilding with a small eye on trying to give Hawkins and a few others another flag full well knowing its probably going to be another 3 years before the young blokes get better.

Your point regarding the ruck is spot on. I don't follow Geelong, particularly, however I still have an interest in how Gary Rowan performs. So I cannot critique Stanley, or Blixcie.
Certainly, though, Grundy has been the Swans recruit of the year, but Jordan and Adams are performing very competitively. Both clubs playing today, will regret the disrespectful way they have treated these 3 classy players.

Was really disappointed with Chris Scott in the post game acting as if he didn't notice that Stanley had a poor game. Maybe he's not watching what we are, perhaps a contender for nuff of the week?
Also the hope that Dangerfield and Guthrie will come back and fix things seems misguided - Dangerfield makes a difference but primarily offensively, I wouldn't say he's a big on defence, which is what the midfield need.
Also I'm not sure the plan to have Hawkins Cameron, Neil, and Henry .( When he's fit) is the best especially if you have Rowan as the substitute. - actually Rowan as a sub doesnt make a whole lot of sense to me at all - but could we have manaugh or Parfitt into the team instead? Do we need a smaller pressure player in the forwards that the mids can rotate through for rests, - either that or train up close, stengle and miers in the midfield.
Biclavs I think might need a rotation back in defence to find his form again, - but we don't have another tallish midfielder to replace him -

I don't Know why Cameron has been on the wing he needs to be forward where he belongs. Let him roam but man its like hes there to lift the midfield. 💯 On Stanley

Geelong doesn't know how to tag the opposition best players. We don't have a Jarrod Berry type with a bit of mongrel to rough up the opposition stars. Case in point: Errol Gulden. I dont get it, why wasnt someone all over Gulden ?? FFS he's only 5 ft 7 and he just seemed to have no opponent all game. He ripped us to bits.
And Rhys Stanley was totally outclassed by Grundy.
