I am 53, and have covered this song with many bands......... I just wanted to say this is the version I heard in my head, but never brought to life..... Thank you Kill : Death : Ratio....Thank you
My favorite Zep song since I first heard it the day Presence was released in 1977. Compelled me to learn to play guitar and after playing Achille's Last Stand for the last 40 years, all I can say is "WOW"!!!!
I'll admit, that was a good cover. And there are many, for sure. But... prepare to have the oxygen sucked out of the very room you happen to be. This dynamic, advenurest masterpiece came out of a place you wouldn't expect. Enjoy it turned up to 10. Oh yeah, get yourself a glass of ice water ua-cam.com/video/SNP0xu0rMw4/v-deo.html
This is a fantastic cover. Just wish the bass and drums cut through the mix a little better - this is one of those songs where the bass and drums share the limelight with the guitars and vocals
yeah like the others have said, this i a great cover, but it is also it's own song. you have done it differently enough to make it your own version, for sure.
brad gilker... In the description, he describes it as an "homage" to LZ's Achilles Last Stand. Most GOOD bands that record a cover song make it a point to play it at least slightly different from the original. When done right, It's a way of being respectful to the original artist while still sounding like yourself.
Well executed. It loses some of the emotion and urgency though. The guitarist gets lost in the solo and tries to impress a bit too much as well. Just feels like another modern rock track. It doesn't pop with that extra layer of emotion.
It's too crisp. It doesn't flow, breathe, live come alive. It's to emotionless. More about hitting chords and timing than the actual control chaos of real life. It's missing something. But damn it is real real good skills. I bet this group finds talent to put with skills and WOW, they could build some weird big pacman shit man

Absolutely nuts. If not for sacrilege, I would say this is better than the original.

Majestic guitar wall.
Finally someone covers this song and does it justice. Impeccably well done
Them and Dream Theaters version, Sends a shiver remembering those days
This is the best cover of Achilles I have ever heard. Very Awesome!

Even better than the original Zep recording. More than a cover: a real remake.
The best cover of this song that will ever exist.
Bravo
Es la mejor versión que he oído de de esta extraordinaria canción. Superrrr
10/10 amazing! The singer absolutely killing it!
Honestly, best cover of this epic track ive ever heard. great work
Wonderful cover of a brilliant song. Well done
This is how it should be done
Beast band and ive heard in a long time.
Oh my god the vocals are amazing
Unbelievable cover.
Such a great song
remarkably well done, very faithful to the original but with your own touch of spice
Mang213 ...exactly. Why do so many people not understand this concept?
Amazing good cover! Differently mixed played but sense as original
A masterful cover of a masterpiece of a song. Well done.
Superb🤘
Best cover
Good song!
nailed
Great job!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Wow
This is unbelievable. Who are these guys?
Good job 👏

Exactly! Bass and drums are not distinctive enough. Way too much emphasis on that “wall of sound” effect that hides away a lot of detail in the mix.
Their version is slightly more Voivod-like.

ascolto più la vostra che l'originale...
this is "the shit" !
9/10
i'd gave it 10/10 if the guitar was a tiny bit quieter in the mix
Cheers! The problems caused when the guitarist mixes :P
So fucking true... hahahaha
A touch too fast. good though

It's the exact same tempo you rocket.
Good cover but it lacks what kept the original listenable for 10 mins and I can't put my finger on it
